Conventionally, two or more separately wound capacitor elements are connected together and then covered, or as shown in FIGS. An electrode foil 11 for forming the electrode foil 11 and a metal foil 14 for the common electrode of the two capacitor elements are provided.
2. The three parts of the plastic film 13 are stacked and wound together, and a metal foil 14 for a common electrode, which becomes an auxiliary electrode, is wound around the center of the outer periphery. 16. However, the former method requires time and effort to connect each capacitor element and has the disadvantage of being large in size, while the latter method cannot be manufactured when three or more capacitor elements are connected in series.

1 is an electrode housing that serves as a common electrode for two capacitor elements A and B that are arranged in series, 2 is an electrode foil that is one electrode of each capacitor element A and B, and 3 is an electrode between these two electrode foils 1 and 2 and An insulator such as a plastic film attached to the back side of the electrode foil 2 is sandwiched between the electrode foils 2 and 2 and stacked on top of each other. They may be overlapped from the beginning, but when winding and forming the capacitor element, each electrode foil 1, 2 and film 3 should be overlapped as shown in FIG. The width of the electrode foil 2 and the plastic film 3 is determined so that the capacitor elements A and B will be formed, and the electrode foil 2 and the plastic film 3 are arranged side by side with a necessary spacing between the two capacitor elements A and B, but a common electrode The electrode foil 1 is arranged so as to straddle between both capacitor elements A and B. The plastic films 3, 3 arranged to sandwich the electrode foil 2 are placed opposite each other so that their edges are aligned, and the electrode foil 2 can be easily coated with metallicon after the outer edge of the film. Make it protrude slightly outward.

The outer end surfaces of the continuous composite capacitor elements A and B formed by winding and winding as described above are coated with metallized resin, and lead wires 5 and 5 are provided thereon by soldering, spot welding, caulking, etc. 4, or directly at the ends of the electrode foils. As a result, one pole side of the capacitor elements A and B is used as a lead wire, and the other pole side is used as a common electrode, and the lead wire 6 is attached to a part of the outer circumferential surface of the electrode foil 1 either directly by soldering or by applying metallic contact. It is to be formed after the process has been completed.

The embodiments shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 show a composite capacitor in which three capacitor elements A, B, and C are connected in a horizontal row via a common electrode, and the width of one capacitor element is The plastic films 3 provided are arranged vertically facing each other to form a single capacitor element, and three sets are arranged in parallel with a necessary interval to form a common electrode at a constant pitch. The electrode foil 1 serving as a common electrode is overlapped so as to span between the first and second sets, that is, capacitor elements A and B, and the outer edge of this film is placed on the film 3 of the third set, capacitor element C. The electrode foils 8 are overlapped so that they protrude slightly from the edges, and on the lower layer film, that is, between the upper and lower films, on the film of the first set of capacitor elements A, there is a layer slightly outward from the outer edge of this film. Place the electrode foil 2 so that it protrudes from the
Then, between the second and third sets of capacitor elements B and C, an electrode foil 7 is placed across the capacitor elements B and C to serve as a common electrode.
The three capacitor elements are stacked and wound together in a laminated manner as described above, so that three capacitor elements are integrated in a horizontal row through the common electrode foils, and the outer ends of the electrode foils 2 and 8 are , 2, the lead wire 5 is provided in the same way as in the embodiment shown in FIG. 2, and the two common electrode foils 1, 7 are provided with lead wires 6, 6, respectively.
