When cultivating fruit plants such as melons,
Conventionally, melon vines 4 and stems have been grown either on the ground or as shown in Figure 1, by vertically erecting posts 12 in the field and growing melon vines 4 and stems along these posts 12. In the former case, there is a problem that the fruit is easily damaged or deformed because it comes into direct contact with the ground, so in the latter case, the melon fruit 5 is supported on the side of the support 12. be. However, in this latter case, as the fruit grows larger, the force of the vines 4 and stems wrapping around the support 3 cannot support the weight of the fruit 5, so each fruit 5 is tied to the support 3 with a string 6. This was necessary, and the labor required for this work was extremely large for melon cultivating farmers.

Therefore, the present applicant has previously provided a rack for cultivating fruit plants as shown in FIG. That is, this thing is
For example, when growing melons, support 1, 1
... A fruit plant support net shelf 2 is installed between the upper parts, a melon is grown on this fruit plant support net shelf 2, melon vines 4 and stems are allowed to grow, and melon fruits 5 are grown through the mesh 7 of the fruit plant support net shelf 2. It is designed to hang down and support the fruit plant support net shelf 2. In this case, the melon fruit 5 is supported by the fruit plant support net shelf 2, so there is no need to tie it with strings 6, and the fruit 5 is deformed because it is supported in a suspended state. There's nothing you can do about it. However, in this one,
The fruit plant support net shelf 2 is installed between the upper supports 1, 1..., and rainwater will directly fall on the melons growing on the fruit plant support net shelf 2.
For example, if it rains immediately after spraying a disinfectant on melons, the disinfectant effect will disappear immediately, and if it rains at a time when the influence of rainwater is not favorable, such as during the fruiting period, the growth of melons will be impaired. Melons have had problems such as being susceptible to damage from the low temperatures of early spring due to the direct action of cold air.

FIG. 5 shows the fruit plant support net shelf 2, which is formed into a lattice net shape made of synthetic resin material. This fruit plant support net shelf 2 is made of a synthetic resin material that has strength enough to support the weight of fruits and has some elasticity, such as hard or semi-hard melon, such as medium and low pressure polyethylene, polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride, and ABS. It is something that Each of the meshes 7, 7, . . . of the fruit plant support net shelf 2 is formed in a square grid shape as shown in FIG. The size of the mesh 7 is preferably about 5 to 15 cm. Furthermore, the frame 8 of the mesh 7 of this fruit plant support net shelf 2 is formed to have a rounded cross-sectional shape so that when the fruit 5 hangs down from the fruit plant support net shelf 2, the vines 4 and stems are not damaged. It is set as. For the same reason, when the mesh 7 is formed in a lattice shape, it is preferable to add radiuses 9 to the corners of the mesh 7. The support column 1 is made of a steel pipe coated with a resin such as polyvinyl chloride or plated, and is formed into an approximately arch shape. In addition to a semicircle, it may be formed into any approximately arch shape such as a U-shape. Any suitable support can be used.

Thus, the pillar 1 is erected as shown in FIG. 3 by burying its lower end in the passage between the ridges 10 of the field.
Multiple trees are placed in parallel at intervals of about 50 to 60 cm along the road. A fruit plant support net shelf 2 is arranged below each of the supports 1, 1 at a position of about 25 cm above the ridge 10, and the fruit plant support net shelf 2 is suspended and supported by the support posts 1. For this hanging, any hanging device 13 such as a string or wire can be used, and the upper end of the string or wire is tied to the support 1 and the lower end is tied to the fruit plant support net shelf 2. Bye. If the width of the ridge 10 is about 100 to 120 cm, the width of the fruit plant support net shelf 2 is set to about 50 to 100 cm. Further, a resin sheet 3 is placed between the upper ends of each support column 1, and the fruit plant support net shelf 2 can be covered by the sheet 3. The seat 3 can be removed from above the support 1. To attach the seat 3 to the support 1, you can either hold it down with a string or set up another support 1 in a field from above the seat 3 and use this support 1 to attach the seat. This can be done by holding down 3 or by any known means.

However, when cultivating melons, for example, using a shelf for cultivating fruit plants formed in this way,
The melons are grown from one side of the ridge 10, and the melon vines 4 and stems are placed along the fruit plant support net shelf 2.
Let it grow towards the other side. In the figure, 11 is a melon leaf. Here, as the melon fruit 5 grows and increases in weight, the fruit 5 moves downward from the fruit plant support net shelf 2 through the mesh 7 of the fruit plant support net shelf 2 due to its own weight.
The fruit 5 hangs down as shown in Figure a, and in this state the fruit 5 grows as shown in Figure 6b. That is, the fruit 5 is supported by the fruit plant support net shelf 2 with the vines 4 and stems caught in the frame 8 of the mesh 7 of the fruit plant support net shelf 2, and no strings or the like are used. It is possible to support the fruit 5 in a hanging state without the need. Also, here, the size of the mesh 7 of the fruit plant support net shelf 2 is set to 5 to 15 cm as described above.
The reason why it is preferable is that if the mesh 7 is smaller than 5 cm, the fruit 5 that has grown to the point where it hangs down due to its own weight may be larger than the mesh 7. If the mesh 7 is larger than 15 cm, the spacing between the vines 4 and stems supported by the frame 8 of the mesh 7 will become large, and the fruit 5's own weight will cause the vines 4 and stems within the mesh 7 to This is because the fruit 5 may be bent significantly downward, and the fruit 5 may not be able to be supported after all. In addition, when cultivating melons in this way, in order to prevent rainwater from splashing on the melons and to avoid low temperatures in early spring, it is necessary to place a sheet 3 on the support 1 as shown in Figure 4a. All you have to do is cover it with sheet 3, and if you want to improve ventilation to melons or spray disinfectant, you can use sheet 3 as support 1.
Alternatively, half of the sheet 3 may be removed from the support 1 as shown in FIG. 4b.

As mentioned above, in the present invention, the fruit plant support net shelf is placed under the substantially arch-shaped pillars, and the fruit plant support net shelf is suspended from the pillars, and a sheet is removably stretched between the pillars. As a result, the sheet attached to the support can cover the fruit plant support net shelf suspended and supported by the support, and rainwater can be prevented from falling onto the fruit plants on the fruit plant support net shelf.
It is possible to prevent the disinfectant from being washed away and the growth of plants to be inhibited, and the sheet can also prevent the effects of low temperatures in early spring. In addition, in the present invention, the support can be used both for supporting the fruit plant support net shelf and for attaching the sheet, resulting in a very simple structure.
In addition, the width dimension of the fruit plant support net shelf is formed to be smaller than the spacing between both sides of the support, and this fruit plant support net shelf is arranged below the support and is suspended and supported by the support. Even if the width of the fruit plant support net shelf is smaller than the distance between both sides of the support, the fruit plant support net shelf can be attached to the support without any problem due to suspension, and such By making the width dimension of the fruit plant support net shelf smaller than the interval dimension between both sides of the support, a space can be formed between the side edge of the fruit plant support net shelf and the side of the support. The space can be used to improve workability within the support.
