本発明は建築用外装板に関し、石綿セメント板
で形成される基板1の裏面側に全面に亘つて多数
本の凹溝2を設けると共に基板1の裏面全面に撥
水剤層3を形成し、基板1の表面側に通気性のな
い塗料被膜4を施して成ることを特徴とする建築

しては石綿セメント板を用いることができ、この
基板1の裏面側に第1図のように全面に亘つて多
数本の凹溝2,2…を設けてある。凹溝2の深さ
は基板の厚みが3〜8mmのとき0.5mm以上(0.5〜
2.0mm)に形成する。凹溝2によつて基板1の裏
面の表面積は大きくなり、裏面側の断面長さは表
面側の断面長さの1.1倍以上になる。凹溝2とし
ては第2図aのように雨水の流下方向と平行な平
行線配置に設けたり、第2図bのように格子状配
置に設けたり、第2図cのように斜め格子状配置

上記のようにして得た建築用外装板は、石綿セ
メント板で形成される基板の裏面側に全面に亘つ
て多数の凹溝が設けてあるので、屋根下地や壁下
地への接触面積が小さくなると共に下地との間の
通気がよくなつて、下地から基板への湿気の作用
が小さくなると共に、基板の裏面全面に施した撥
水剤層により基板の裏面における吸水を遮断で
き、また基板の表面側の通気性のない塗料を塗布
してあるので、基板の表面における乾燥を防ぐこ
とができ、この結果石綿セメント板で形成される
建築用外装板に含水率の差による反りが発生する
ことを防止できるものである。そして本発明にお
いては、基板に凹溝を加工したり撥水剤や塗料を
塗布したりすることによつて、上記のように反り
が発生することを防止できるようにしたものであ
り、基板を多層の複雑な構造にする必要なく簡単
な工程で製造することができるという効果を有す

置したのち、第3図bのように反り変形する際の
反り上り量(h)を測定した結果、従来のものの反り
上り量は2〜5mmであつたのに対し本発明のもの
