As a conventional lotus root excavator, a pump is mounted on the machine that can move over the wet field where lotus roots are cultivated, or a pump is installed separately, and the water sucked up by this pump is pressurized to the nozzle. There is a method in which the lotus root is sprayed onto the top soil of the lotus root, and the muddy top soil is removed using water pressure, exposing the lotus root and digging it out.
The water pressure sprayed from the nozzle is 1 to 2 kg/cm 2 , and when sprayed on the exposed lotus root with this water pressure,
There have been problems in which lotus roots have been broken or buds have been lost, reducing the product value.
If this water pressure is lowered, the mud removal efficiency will be reduced, so a water pressure higher than a predetermined pressure is required.

Therefore, in the present invention, the water pressure injected from the nozzle is maintained at a level sufficient to remove the upper soil of the lotus root, and air is mixed into the injected water at the nozzle part to generate bubbles, which acts on the lotus root. To provide a water jet nozzle for a lotus root excavator which softens the pressure so as not to damage the lotus root itself, buds, etc.

In order to achieve this objective, the present invention has a pump mounted on a machine that is movable over a wet field where lotus roots are cultivated, or a pump is placed separately, and the water sucked up by this pump is pressurized. In a lotus root excavator, the lotus root is injected into the top soil of the lotus root through a nozzle, and the top soil is removed by water pressure to expose the lotus root and excavate it. The other end of the facing air suction pipe is configured to protrude outside the nozzle, and the negative pressure of the jet of water ejected from the nozzle draws in outside air from the air suction pipe, thereby generating bubbles in the jet of water. It is characterized by this.

[Embodiment] An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. In the figure, reference numeral 1 denotes a car body of a lotus root excavator, and this car body 1 has an engine 2 mounted on the front part, and a pair of running wheels 3, 3 (one not shown) at both left and right ends of the center part. One end is pivotally supported by a free end of a transmission case 4 which is pivotally supported on the vehicle body 1 by a pivot 4a, and is provided so as to be movable up and down by rotation of the transmission case 4.
The wheel 3 has a wide left and right width, and has lugs formed around the periphery to increase the bearing capacity of the ground. A pump section 5 is provided above the rear part from the center of the vehicle body 1, and a suction pipe (not shown) of this pump extends downward from the vehicle body 1 to suck up water from the lotus root cultivation field and discharge it. The pipe 6 is supported by a discharge pipe support member 7 and extends long toward the rear of the vehicle body, and has a downwardly bent tip and a nozzle 8 according to the present invention is attached to the tip. Further, a steering handle 9 is provided on the vehicle body 1 and extends rearward and is substantially parallel to the discharge pipe 6 and the discharge pipe support member 7.
The rear end of the handle 9 is located slightly rearward, and the discharge pipe 6 is disposed on one side of the handle 9 on the left and right sides. Furthermore, on the lower side of the vehicle body 1, a center float 10 and side floats 1 similar to well-known walk-behind rice transplanters are provided.
1 and 11 (one not shown). As shown in FIG. 2, the nozzle 8 has a constricted tip, and has one end facing this constricted portion.
An air suction pipe 12 is provided, the other end of which projects outward from the pipe wall of the nozzle 8. In the lotus root digging machine configured in this way,
Center float 10 and side float 1 were introduced into rice fields (swamps, ponds) where lotus roots are cultivated.
The vehicle body 1 is brought into contact with muddy soil Nos. 1 and 11, and the traveling wheels 3 are rotationally driven by the power from the engine 2 to cause the vehicle body 1 to travel. The running wheels 3 are moved up and down by a transmission case 4 to adjust the depth from the floats 10 and 11 depending on the depth and hardness of the mud. Then, the pump section 5 is driven by the power from the engine 2, sucks up water from its suction pipe, passes through the discharge pipe 7, and injects it from the nozzle 8. The pressure of the jet water A jetted from the nozzle 8 is 1
The pressure is as high as ~2Kg/ cm2 , and the top soil of the lotus root is splashed off and removed by water pressure, exposing the lotus root. As a result, outside air is sucked in through the air suction pipe 12, mixed into the jet water, turned into bubbles, and sprayed from the nozzle, so that while maintaining sufficient pressure to blow away the top soil, it also blows away the exposed lotus root. If it hits directly, the bubbles will act as a cushion and will not break the lotus root or damage the bud. The lotus roots exposed in the mud by the water jets are dug out manually, and this work is easy. Alternatively, jet water jetted from a nozzle may be used to remove mud from the dug-out lotus root. Moreover, the nozzle of the present invention is not limited to the lotus root excavator as in the above embodiment.
Any other type of excavation device can be applied as long as it removes the top soil of the lotus root by spraying pressurized water pumped up by a pump.

As explained above, according to the jet water nozzle of the lotus root excavator of the present invention, since the air suction pipe 12 is provided at the tip of the nozzle 8, air can be easily sucked into the jet water to generate bubbles. While maintaining the pressure necessary to splash away the top soil of the lotus root, even if this jet water hits the exposed lotus root directly, the foam acts softly as a cushion and does not break or damage the lotus root.
Also, the buds will not be lost or damaged.
