By suctioning the part, all of the yarn spun from the front roller is suctioned until the splicing is performed, thereby preventing troubles such as joint breakage. In this way, ring spinning machines are generally equipped with a pneumatic clearer near the front roller to spin yarn, with the continuous yarn serving as the core and the short fibers serving as the sheath. A similar method has been used for spinning coated yarns.

い。 However, in the case of the covered yarn, especially in the case of covered yarn for sewing thread, the pneumatic clearer that is generally installed in ring spinning machines does not suction even if the yarn breaks during spinning. There are problems in that the spinning is continued as it is and troubles such as co-breakage occur. This is because a single yarn with high tenacity is required as a covering yarn for sewing thread, and therefore the continuous yarn serving as the core needs to have high tenacity, which means that a thick continuous yarn is used. Thick continuous yarns are generally rigid, so as mentioned above, the pneumatic clearer that is generally installed in ring spinning machines is unable to suction the broken portions of the rigid continuous yarns. It is thought that this is because As a countermeasure, it may be possible to increase the suction power of the conventionally equipped pneumatic clearer, but in that case, the position where the pneumatic clearer is installed is directly under the front roller, so it will not work normally. There is a risk that even fiber bundles that have been spun and whose twist has not yet fully propagated will be suctioned, and it is not possible to increase the suction force very much.

A suction tube with a large suction force that can suction the broken yarn part that cannot be suctioned by the pneumatic clearer 2 when a yarn breakage occurs in the spun yarn Y is provided near the yarn path between and the Snell wire 3. 4 is arranged for each single spindle separately from the pneumatic clearing ring 2. The suction tube 4 should be installed between the pneumatic clearer 2 and the snell wire 3 directly below the front roller 1, approximately at the center of the two, or
Alternatively, a position slightly closer to the Snell wire 4 is preferable, so that the yarn that is normally spun is not adversely affected, and the broken yarn portion can be reliably caught and suctioned. Also, the strength of the suction force of the suction tube 4 is about 1.5 times the suction force of the Neumatic Clearer 2.
That is, a negative pressure of 100 to 150 mm in water column is preferable, and may be appropriately determined within the above range depending on the type, count, etc. of the spun yarn. The suction port of the suction tube 4 for each spindle opens close to the yarn path, and the other end is connected to a main duct (not shown).

A sliver S of short fibers such as cotton fiber to be used as a sheath for the covered yarn is supplied from a back roller 5, drafted between it and an apron roller 6, and immediately before entering the next front roller 1, it is supplied from behind and above. After combining the continuous yarn F, such as a polyester multifilament yarn with a thickness of 100 d or more, which is the core of the covered yarn, and spinning it from the front roller 1 and twisting it into a covered yarn Y, Wind onto bobbin 7. in this case,
Even if yarn breakage occurs and a continuous yarn F such as a thick and stiff polyester filament yarn that cannot be absorbed by the pneumatic clearer 2 is spun as a broken thread, the pneumatic clearer 2 and the snel wire 3 This can be reliably caught and suctioned by the suction tube 4 disposed close to the yarn path between the two. Moreover, since the suction tube 4 is located between the neutral wire 2 and the snell wire 3, the normally spun yarn is already sufficiently twisted and will not be adversely affected in any way. .
