可能な繊維の繊維長が長い場合には有効であるが、綿紡
績方式で適用されるような繊維長が短い場合には、繊維
束の分割状態を保つことが難しく、その結果繊維同士の
絡みが少なく、表面毛羽の少ない紡績糸を得ることは難
しいものであった。
