Abstract

PURPOSE:To remove ammonia and to prevent the generation of public nuisance by a method wherein water after filtering is allowed to flow in an ozone contact tank having a waste ozone treatment tower provided thereabove and an ozone diffusing part is provided in the ozone contact tank while a catalytic treatment tank is provided in close vicinity to said tank. CONSTITUTION:The water filtered by a pre-filter 3 is allowed to flow in an ozone contact tank 5 having a waste ozone treatment tower 4 provided thereabove and the ozone diffusing part 7 connected to an ozone generator 6 is provided in the ozone contact tank 5 and a catalytic treatment tank 8 is provided in close vicinity to said tank 5. The water after the ozone treatment in the ozone contact tank 5 is allowed to flow in the catalytic treatment tank 8 to be refluxed to a water tank A. When a power supply is closed immediately after water is injected in the water tank A, the pump 22 operated in connection with a motor 21 is driven and water is sucked from a water sucking strainer 23 to be sprinkled on the pre-filter 3 from the water sprinkling orifices 26 bored in a water diffusion pipe 25, and impure water and ammonia are removed.

When raising live seafood in an aquarium, there are especially few microorganisms that oxidize ammonia in the water in the aquarium in its initial state.
There has been a major problem in that ammonia, a metabolite of live seafood, accumulates without being oxidized, causing the seafood to die within two to three weeks when the living conditions for live seafood are established.

For this reason, there are many aquariums equipped with circulation filtration purification devices on the market, but conventional circulation filtration purification devices are attached above the aquarium, and a pump device pumps up the water in the tank. The water is guided and sprinkled over a filtration layer such as a nylon filter that is inside the device, and as the water is filtered by the filtration layer, ammonia is biooxidized by the biota of microorganisms that have grown on the filtration layer and returned to the aquarium. In the past, only ammonia treatment and filth removal were carried out to maintain living conditions for live seafood, and the process was only carried out through cyclical purification.

However, if used over time, algae may grow in the aquarium and adhere to the inner surface of the glass, the bottom surface, etc., and the color of the water in the aquarium may increase due to an increase in organic matter, making the water cloudy, and the water may become cloudy for a short period of time. There were problems such as the need to change the water at regular intervals and the need to clean the aquarium each time.

In view of the above-mentioned problems, the present invention has been developed as a result of many years of research.
This solution solves the above problems. The ammonia contained in the water in the aquarium in the initial state is removed and rendered harmless by the pre-filter catalyst treatment layer, and the growth of algae is prevented by bringing it into contact with ozone in the ozone contact tank. To provide a purification device that prevents the generation of organic substances, minimizes the number of water exchanges, requires almost no cleaning, and maintains good survival conditions for live seafood. It is.

The configuration of the present invention is that, in an aquarium equipped with a circulation filtration type purification device that forcibly circulates water in the aquarium for breeding live fish and shellfish using a pump device, water is filtered by a pre-filter provided in the circulation system of the circulation filtration type purification device. The filtered water flows into an ozone contact tank equipped with an exhaust ozone treatment tower above, and the ozone contact tank is equipped with an ozone diffuser connected to an ozone generator and a catalyst treatment tank nearby. The structure is such that water that has been ozonated in a contact tank flows into a catalyst treatment tank and is then returned to a water tank.

Immediately after water is poured into the water tank A, that is, with water in the initial state, the ozone purifier 1 of the present invention is placed above or to the side of the water tank A, and when the power is turned on, the pump 2 operates in conjunction with the motor 21.
The treated water is sucked up from the water absorption strainer 23 and sprayed onto the front filter 3 through the water sprinkling holes 26 formed in the water sprinkling pipe 25, filtered by the front filter 3, and treated water after removing impurities, ammonia, etc. flows into the ozone contact tank 5, and the ozone contact tank 5 is equipped with an ozone generator 6.
The ozone generated in the process is brought into contact with the treated water at the ozone diffuser 7, which is connected by a connecting pipe 9 and placed inside the bottom, and the characteristics of ozone prevent the growth of algae and decompose organic matter. An exhaust ozone treatment tower 4 is installed above to detoxify humans from stray ozone that does not completely react with the treated water, and the ozonated water is further led to a catalyst treatment tank 8 where residual harmful ammonia is removed. Toxic substances from live fish and shellfish are removed in a catalyst treatment tank 8 that is completely treated with a catalyst.
