（発明の効果）
本発明に適用される蓮子草、草霊芝、鎖陽よりの抽出エ
キスを含有する発毛・青毛促進料は下記の表−１に示す
マウスの毛成長の密度を測定する試験法王において他の
発毛・青毛促進料と言われている物質と比較して顕著な
効果が示された。これは前記生薬よりの抽出エキスの成
分が毛根を刺激し、毛根周囲の血行をより盛んにし、代

尚、表−１において適用された各検体は、Ａは比較物質
としてのビタミンＥを２重量％含有させた ９９．５％
エタノール溶液、Ｂ、Ｃ，Ｄはそれぞれ蓮子草、草霊芝
、鎖陽のメタノール抽出により得られた抽出エキスを５
重量％含有させた９９．５％エタノール溶液、Ｅはコン
トロールとしての９９．５％エタノール溶液である。
次に臨床試験例を示す。
例 １
試料として蓮子草抽出エキスを２重量％含有させた９９
．５％エタノール溶液を用いた。
後頭部に直径３ ｃｔｎの脱毛部位を有する年令４４才
の女性の円形脱毛症患者に検体を１日１回、１回に３〜
５ｇ塗布したところ、約３ケ月後には脱毛部位に短いう
ぶ毛を生じ、６ケ月後には硬毛となり脱毛部位は消失し
た。
例 ２
試料として鎮陽抽出エキスと草霊芝抽出エキスを１：１
、の比率で混合したものを２重量％含有させた９９．５
％エタノール溶液を用いた。

頭頂部及び側頭部にそれぞれ２．５Ｃｍの脱毛部位を有
する年令３６オの男性の円形脱毛症患者に検体を１日１
回、１回に３〜５９塗布したところ、３ケ月後頭頂部及
び側頭部の脱毛部位にうぶ毛を生じ、６ケ月後には硬毛
を生じたが完治までには至らなかった。
例１、例２ともに６ケ月間の連続塗布による皮膚障害は
全く認められなかった。
