In addition, since the exposed waterproof top layer is exposed to the outside as one side of the building, a beautiful finish is also required.

れる。In the case of asphalt waterproofing, the overwhelming majority is the so-called thermal method in which a waterproof layer is formed by laminating multiple layers of asphalt roofing while using molten asphalt as an adhesive, and the top layer of the exposed waterproof layer is coated with asphalt or modified. Roofing with sand, which is made by scattering sand grains on the surface of asfilt roofing, is often used. With sand-covered roofing, the sand grains act as a protective layer, so deterioration of the asphalt or modified asphalt layer directly under the sand grains due to ultraviolet rays, etc. can be prevented to some extent. Moreover, due to the shading and texture of the sand grains, colored sand grains can be prevented. By using , it also has an aesthetic and design quality. In addition, as a finishing sheet for asphalt waterproofing, asphalt or modified asphalt roofing with metal foil laminated on the top layer is also used instead of partially sanded roofing. Metal foil minimizes deterioration of the underlying coating layer, and the use of colored or embossed metal foil provides an excellent aesthetic appearance.

For this reason, materials with particularly excellent weather resistance and durability are used.Currently, EPDM-based vulcanized rubber sheets are the most commonly used, followed by PvC sheets. In both cases, pigments are mixed in to create colorful colors, and the sheet surface is coated with Efforts have been made to give the sheets a beautiful appearance and design by applying chromatic paints and embossing the sheet surface to create patterns.

That is, the adhesive inevitably adheres to the soles of gloves and shoes during work, and the surfaces become dirty every time the worker touches the finished material with his hands or walks.

For this reason, efforts are made to maintain a clean finish by frequently replacing gloves and gloves, and pasting curing tape on areas where excess adhesive or asphalt is expected to protrude. There are limitations, and in the end, not only will it make a mess, but work efficiency will also drop significantly. In particular, in the case of thermal asphalt waterproofing, since the finish sheet is pasted while spreading a large amount of molten asphalt, and the asphalt itself is black, the degree of staining is much worse than in the case of sheet waterproofing, and the shoes are dirty. You can't expect any effect from changing gloves at all.

損傷することもしばしばおこる。Therefore, in both asphalt waterproofing and sheet waterproofing, dirt during construction is usually ignored to some extent, and there are many cases in which paint is applied to the entire surface of the construction machine to improve the appearance. However, this also causes uneven coating and results in a very flat finish, making it difficult to obtain a satisfactory finish. Moreover, this lengthens the construction period and increases costs. Furthermore, even after waterproofing work has been completed, workers in other occupations often continue to work on or around the waterproofed surface, and in doing so, they often inadvertently stain or damage the waterproofed surface. It happens.

This protective material 2 must be firmly attached to the surface of the finishing sheet 1 to the extent that it will not peel off during construction when the finishing sheet 1 is pasted by conventional methods using adhesives, asphalt, etc. It is pasted. During construction, the surface of the finishing sheet 1 is always covered with the protected forest 2 and is not exposed.

Regarding the degree of adhesion, consider that during construction, you may rub the protective material on the surface of the sheet with dirty gloves, or apply adhesive or asphalt to the protective material with the material attached to the back of the shoe. The protective material must not peel off or tear from the sheet surface even when walked on. For this purpose, the protective material usually has an adhesion force of about 50 g/inch or more to the sheet surface and a tear strength of about 20 g or more so that it will not cause problems during construction. However, when pasting sheets using the asphalt thermal construction method, it is better to stick them more strongly, especially since the asphalt is highly sticky at high temperatures.
Preferably, the adhesive strength is about 100 g/inch or more.

Since the sheets are pasted with high-temperature asphalt at a temperature of about 0 to 300°C, it is preferable to use single paper or a laminate of paper and synthetic resin film, especially a laminate of polypropylene or polyethylene film to prevent the protective material from melting or deforming due to heat. .

。In addition, when applying the back side of a finishing sheet made of asphalt or modified asphalt by heating and melting it with a burner using the so-called torch method, there is a risk that the protective material may melt or burn due to the flame of the burner. It is a good idea to use a non-flammable protective material such as ceramic paper on the protective material that is directly exposed to the flame of the burner.

Due to the protective material provided, the surface of the sheet will not be contaminated at all during construction. In addition, there is no need for extremely troublesome care such as frequently changing shoes and gloves, and there is no problem even if the construction is carried out normally. Therefore, work efficiency is further improved. After construction, the protective material can be removed when other construction work is completed, revealing a beautifully finished sheet surface that is completely uncontaminated.
特に、アスファルト熱工法で施工した場合は。Especially when constructed using the asphalt thermal method.

Of course, since there is no need for the conventional paint application work to improve the appearance, the construction period is shortened and the economic burden is also drastically reduced.
