Abstract

PURPOSE:To form an adhesive coating film which is conformable to an uneven surface of a substrate when applied, by attaching a protective separator to an adhesive layer formed by applying an adhesive on the surface of a thin base sheet consisting of nonwoven fabric, applying powder paint-contg. liquid coating on the other side and melting the powder paint under heat to form a powder coating film. CONSTITUTION:A self-adhesive or adhesive 2 is applied on one side of a thin base sheet 1 consisting of nonwoven fabric made from pulp or nylon fiber and the adhesive layer is protected with a separator 3. A colored or clear powder paint 5 made from EVA, etc. which retains flexibily even afeter curing, is mixed thoroughly into a colored or clear liquid coating 4 consisting of polyurethane, etc. which retains flexibility even after curing. The mixt. is applied on the other side of base sheet 1, followed by heating. Thus, a fusion bonded layer 50 with an embossed surface 51 is formed and an embossed adhesive coating film A is obtained. The film A can be bonded to a substrate with an uneven surface by pressing with finger.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a method for forming a coating film for adhesion, and an object of the present invention is to uniformly reproduce the uneven surface of a workpiece having an uneven surface while faithfully reproducing the uneven surface. It is an object of the present invention to provide a method for forming a coating film that can be attached and has a flat surface or an embossed surface to color a construction object, or has a waterproof effect.

Conventional painting is performed for various purposes such as waterproofing, rust prevention, antiseptic, chemical resistance, etc. in addition to giving aesthetic color to the painted surface, but when there are irregular irregularities on the surface of the object to be painted, A common method for painting without destroying or modifying the uneven state is to apply a liquid paint. There is also a method of attaching a colored plastic film with adhesive strength to the back surface only when the surface of the object is smooth.

In addition, in the latter case, the film has a hardness that makes it easy to cut, and even if it is forcefully applied to an object having an uneven surface, the film does not adhere to the entire surface and is easily peeled off.

Figure 1 f), One side of the base material 1, which is a thin film-like nonwoven fabric made of pulp, rayon, polyester, polypropylene, polyethylene, nylon, etc., or a thin film-like nonwoven fabric made of a combination thereof, and has a flexibility of about 10 to 30 μm. A pressure-sensitive adhesive or adhesive 2 is applied and impregnated as shown in FIG. 2 and protected with a separator 3 as shown in FIG. (The case of coating and impregnating the adhesive or adhesive from both sides of the base material will be described later.) The base material 1 is preferably a long-fiber nonwoven fabric with unbroken fibers, and in particular, a material that also has weather resistance, such as polyester. However, even if there are short fibers,
Materials other than polyester are not disadvantageous for the purpose of the present invention.

The pressure-sensitive adhesive or adhesive 2 is selected depending on the use of the formed coating film (4). In other words, if the formed adhesive coating is to be used for a short period of time on the object, a weak adhesive is used to make it removable, and if it is to be permanently attached, a strong adhesive is used. .

Next, a liquid paint 4 such as polyurethane, alkyd resin, polyvinyl chloride, 7-tun resin, silicone resin, or acrylic resin, which is colored or transparent and has flexibility after curing.
A light-colored or colored (preferably the same color as the above liquid paint) powder, such as ethylene vinyl acetate (]i:VA), polyurethane, etc., which is flexible after curing, is added to Sufficiently mix paint 5 (Fig. 4). Although the mixing ratio is not Km@, it is better to have a relatively large amount of powder paint, preferably a weight ratio of powder paint to liquid paint of 0.
5:1 to 1.521. More preferably, the ratio is about 1:1. In this case, the solvent used in the liquid paint must not disturb the powder paint, but today's powder paints are quite resistant to solvents, so the liquid paint and the powder There is no problem as long as you avoid leaving the body paint mixture undisturbed for more than 24 hours.

In this case, one side of the base material is protected with a separator, and the other side is colored with a liquid paint that is colored and has flexibility after curing.
After curing, if you apply a transparent liquid paint on top of it, or a transparent liquid paint mixed with the powder paint of the same color as the liquid paint,
A final product is obtained in which the colored coating layer is retained by a transparent coating layer. Furthermore, when an ultraviolet absorber is included in the transparent liquid paint, the weather resistance of the final product is improved.

Through the above process, the powder paint protruding from the top of the liquid paint film is melted to form a continuous paint film surface. That is, the coating film 4 made of the liquid paint is strongly adhered to the surface of the base material 1, and the coating film 50 made of the powder paint is further adhered on top of the coating film 4 made of the liquid paint. It is an essential condition for the purpose of the present invention that these coating films be selected to have flexibility after curing.

The gist of the present invention is to provide an alternative to the conventional liquid coating method as a method for coloring areas where weather resistance is particularly required, such as on the walls of buildings. That is, when comparing the conventional liquid coating and the adhesive coloring of the product of the present invention, the present invention has many excellent features as described below (I can list them, but in addition, for example, coloring in dangerous areas Due to its excellent weather resistance, the product of the present invention can significantly extend the recoloring cycle. In other words, in addition to the ability to freely select colors using liquid paint, the product of the present invention has transparent coating on the top layer. Alternatively, by forming a powder coating film of the same color as the liquid paint, it simultaneously achieves the excellent preservation function of the powder coating film for the object to be coated, and the free coloring function of the liquid paint. To explain its specific effects using the example of painting concrete walls and extremely high chimneys, conventionally, it was only possible to "paint" objects with irregularly uneven surfaces using liquid paint. Coloring that faithfully reproduces uneven surfaces,
With the appearance of the adhesion coating film of the present invention, it is now possible to add coloring, decoration, and waterproof effects to "adhering work" that previously could not be done.
This was realized by K, and the following secondary effects also occur.

In the above steps, what should be particularly considered is whether the powder coating film 50 on the uppermost layer forms a truly continuous surface. The purpose of the present invention is to make a powder coating with excellent coating performance available in stores as a portable adhesive coating. In other words, even if it is possible to color an irregularly uneven surface by adhering it to the surface, the gist of the present invention can be largely avoided.

A transparent polyvinyl chloride liquid paint was mixed with 10% of a vulcanizing agent and a black EVA powder paint in a weight ratio of 1:1, and the mixture was thoroughly stirred. Then, a white adhesive colored with titanium is coated and impregnated on one side of the pure white thin film-like non-woven fabric on q#, and it is protected with a separator, and the other side is coated with the transparent liquid polyvinyl chloride paint. A mixture of black mymu powder paint was applied by spray. This was then held in a hot air drying oven at 120°C for 5 minutes. When taken out from the drying oven, a black coating film had been formed on the entire surface. I observed it with an 80x magnifying glass, but the observation results were the same. Subsequently, according to process 11 of the present invention, a coating film formed by mixing a transparent EVA powder coating in a 1=1 mixture of a purple vinyl chloride liquid paint with poor color fastness, and a coating film formed by mixing only a purple vinyl chloride liquid paint At the same time, the double layer of powder coating and liquid coating formed by the above process according to the present invention forms a continuous surface sufficient to withstand the application. That has been proven.
