本発明は、壷状菌に対して優れた作用を有するアマノリ

アマノリの養殖はすでに数十年の歴史を有し、養殖技術
は年々進歩し改良されているが、病害に対する対策はま
だ十分ではなく、被害は多大なものがある。特に壷状菌
病と称する寄生性病害が蔓延した場合は、生産皆無とな
る場合もある。最近では壷状菌病が毎年発生し、多くの
被害を与えているので、壷状菌防除剤の開発が要望され
ている。本発明者は安全性が高く、壷状菌に対し優れた
効果を示す殺菌剤を開発するため研究を重ねた結果、本

安息香酸は酸性溶液中では難溶であり沈殿を生じる。安

リセリン脂肪酸エステルが好ましい。他の乳化剤例えば
、ゼラチン、カゼイン、オレイン酸ナトリウム、蔗糖脂
肪酸エステル又はラウリン酸ナトリウムを使用すると、
pH3以下の酸性溶液中で安息香酸な乳化することが困

れる。安息香酸は酸性域で殺菌力が強大するため、本発
明の殺菌剤は他の酸を含有していることが好ましい。酸
としては、有機酸及び無機酸のいずれでもよ(例えばフ
ィチン酸、燐酸、塩酸、クエン酸、リンゴ酸、フマル酸

網に散布してもよい。処理後の養殖網はそのまま養殖に
用いることかできる。なお希釈液のpHが3より高い場
合は、酸を添加してpH1〜3に調整することが好まし

試験例
実施例1〜5及び比較例1.2の殺菌剤をそれぞれ海水
で100倍に希釈し、壷状菌が付着した海苔葉体を一定
時間浸漬したのち、海水で洗浄した。この処理葉体と壷
状菌が全くみられない海苔葉体とを、同一容器内で3日
間静置培養し、健全な葉体への壷状菌の浸入の有無を顕
