[Detailed description of the invention] This invention is designed to prevent the core from falling apart due to the knitting threads being cut by the locking claws of the core holding tube, or by the locking claws of the core holding cylinder. This prevents the core from being partially pushed inward, causing the interlining material to protrude and stick to the inner cylinder, making the core rise and fall unsmoothly, making the core dimensions uniform, and reducing dimensional changes when attached to equipment. The aim is to provide inexpensive products that do not need to be used and do not change over a long period of time.

Conventionally, in order to manufacture a wick for a combustion appliance, a fuel suction part such as a cotton fabric woven on a loom and cut to an appropriate size and a heat-resistant combustion part such as glass fiber are joined together on the top and bottom. It has been used as a flat core by overstitching the edges, or by sewing the single pieces together into a cylindrical shape, but recently, a warp knitting method called ratssel knitting has been used to create a cylindrical shape. A knitted core is provided in which warp threads (when formed on a core, become warp threads) are repeatedly folded and arranged in a zigzag pattern, and knitted with multiple rows of warp threads (when formed on a core, become weft threads). However, in the case of the above-mentioned knitting core, when the core is attached to the core holding tube or when the core is moved up and down, the knitting warp is cut due to friction or the sharp locking claws of the core holding tube, causing the weft to fall apart. As a result, various problems occur, such as the core being disengaged from the core holding cylinder, causing the core installation position to shift, and the core not being able to be raised or lowered. In addition, the warp threads expand and contract due to moisture, resulting in unstable dimensions. There are several drawbacks. As a countermeasure, if you knit with thick cotton fiber warps such as No. 20 two-strand or No. 30 three-strand, the thickness of the core will increase and the locking claws of the core holding cylinder will not be inserted smoothly between the fibers. There are drawbacks such as the wick swells inward as it hangs, narrowing the inner diameter of the wick, making it difficult to enter the wick guide tube (not shown), or sticking and making it difficult to raise and lower the wick, making the anti-seismic fire extinguishing system inoperable. It was hot.

The present invention has been devised in view of the above points, and embodiments thereof will be described below with reference to the drawings. In the figure A,
A' is a double-layered interlining knitted part, and the fuel wicking part and the heat-resistant combustion part are knitted separately, or the fuel wicking part B is made of a fuel absorbing material such as cotton fiber, as shown in Figure 1. The heat-resistant combustion part C is a combustion part in which a plurality of threads with good properties such as glass fibers are gathered together to form a plurality of yarns with high heat resistance such as glass fiber. The weft threads 2 and 2a were simultaneously intermingled to form a double layer and connected 3 and 3a, while being repeatedly folded in a zigzag pattern to form multiple rows at each connection portion 3 and 3a and at other appropriate locations. The warp threads 4, 4a are knitted and stitched by a method such as chain stitching, and the warp threads 4, 4a are knitted and stitched integrally while intertwining the appropriate places of each other, and then connected into a cylindrical shape of a desired warp, and the outer surface including the connecting part 3 is knitted. The reinforcing tape 5 is pasted on the core holding cylinder 6, and the retaining claw 7 of the core holding cylinder 6 is inserted into the core holding cylinder 6.

In the double-layer knitted core described above, the present invention provides that the other warp threads 4,
The knitting process is carried out by distributing reinforcing warp threads 4b, which are thin threads with less elasticity and higher strength than those of 4a (thickness of about 200 denier, about one-third of the warp threads 4 and 4a).

With the above configuration, according to the present invention, in the double layer knitted core, at least the portion of the interlining knitted part A' of the inner circumferential layer corresponding to the locking claw 7 of the core holding cylinder 6 is formed into a thin, high-tensile and strong structure. Since the fabric is knitted with reinforced warp yarns 4b, the following effects can be obtained.

1. A product with a uniform thickness can be obtained by preventing the core holding cylinder 6 from being cut by the locking pawl 7 as in the past, and by preventing the core from having uneven thickness due to the use of thicker warp threads.

3. Although the reinforcing warp yarns 4b are thin, they are extremely strong and are not cut by the locking pawls 7, so that the core can be used for a long period of time without any change.

4. Since the thin reinforcing warp threads 4b are used, it is possible to prevent the core from bulging inward due to being pushed by the locking claws 7, unlike when conventional thick warp threads are used.

6. Since the reinforcing warp yarns 4b are used only at important points in the interlining knitted part A' of the inner circumferential layer, local reinforcement is achieved and the cost does not increase.

It should be noted that it is also possible to use reinforcing warp yarns at important points in the interlining knitted part A of the outer peripheral layer as described above, but since the reinforcing warp yarns are more expensive than conventional yarns, the cost will be high, and this reinforcement Since the threads are thinner than the warp threads used in other places, there are disadvantages such as dents in the knitted part and gaps that occur when the reinforcing tape 5 is applied, resulting in poor adhesion and easy peeling. Even if cotton fiber is used in important parts, since the part is protected by the reinforcing tape 5, there is no fear that the core will come apart even if it is cut by the locking claw 7, so there is no need to use reinforcing warp threads. It's good.
