Claims

[Scope of utility model registration request]

(1) Weft thread rows made of multiple threads of arbitrary materials are arranged by repeatedly folding them to form a double layer, and the weft thread rows of each layer are knitted into multiple rows at appropriate intervals using each warp thread. In the core for combustion appliances, in which the warp threads of the outer layer are entwined with the warp threads of other layers and integrated to form a cylindrical shape, the warp threads at appropriate locations on the inner circumferential layer are thinner and less elastic than other warp threads (thus providing high-strength reinforcement). (2) The wick for a combustion appliance according to claim 1, wherein the reinforcing warp is a thin thread of high tensile strength organic fiber with high tensile strength such as aromatic polyamide fiber.
