Abstract

PURPOSE:To accelerate fermentation velocity of org. materials simply and effectively to high velocity by building a hot water heater in an obliquely movable stirring device for producing a fertilizer or a fodder by fermenting a charged org. material, and also permitting optional adjustment of temp. and oxygen amt. in the stirring device by the blowing of air. CONSTITUTION:An org. material 18 as feed and microorganisms for fermentation are charged from a charging hopper 5 into an obliquely movable rotary drum 1 provided with many stirring spirals 2 to the inside, and the content is stirred with the spiral 2 by rotating the drum 1. The org. material is heated at the same time to, for example, about 55-60 deg.C by feeding hot water to a hot water heater 7 installed to the inside of the drum 1 from a boiler 10, and oxygen in the org. material is supplied appropriately by blowing air from the bottom of the drum 1. to increase thus fermentation velocity of the org. material. The fermentation velocity of the org. material is increased much more in this case by discharging generated gaseous CO2 and steam with a fan 6.
