DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION [Field of Industrial Application] The present invention relates to a structural member fixing metal fitting for a sloped roof used for a sloped roof by the so-called two-by-four construction method using structural members of 2×4 inch standard. A pitched roof is generally constructed by installing a large number of oak trees between the ridgepole and the ceiling joists, and then covering them with structural plywood. They are overlapped crosswise so that they are in contact with each other and are fixed directly or with nails through hinged metal fittings such as deformed plates or small pieces of structural plywood plates, etc., and the opposing tall timbers are the same (through the plates) at the lower part of the purlin. It is fixed with nails.

However, when using this conventional structure, nailing work is performed after positioning the heavy long structural timbers between the ridgepole and ceiling joists, making work at heights with poor footing difficult and complicated. On the other hand, if the ridgepole is fixed at the site, even if it is processed into a truss (or truss-like shape) at a factory, it will be large and expensive, so it will be difficult to transport it to the site. This invention is made in view of these conventional problems, and is easy to work on construction sites.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a novel structural material fixing fitting for a sloped roof that can solve the problem of transporting and bringing in the material when it is processed and produced in a factory in advance.

The present invention uses a pair of channel-shaped holding members that are hinged so that they can be separated at arbitrary angles, and each opening groove of the holding member is aligned with a structural member for a sloped roof so that the member can be fitted therein. That is, the present invention forms a pair of channel-shaped holding members with open grooves having a width of 2 inches or a multiple thereof, with the left and right ends open, and the opening grooves of these holding members are oriented in opposite directions. The holding members are arranged back to back, and the holding members are connected by a hinge so that they can be separated at any angle, and the front and rear side walls of each holding member are provided with bolt through holes. The gist is a roof structural material fixing metal fitting (Claim 1), in addition, one of a pair of holding members is placed back-to-back on the other holding member with the same width or narrow width as the other holding member, and is hinged. One of the connected structural material fixing fittings for a sloped roof (Claim 2) and a pair of holding members are arranged back-to-back with one inch or a multiple thereof offset in the front-rear direction with respect to the other. The present invention includes the above-mentioned structural member fixing fittings for a sloped roof (claim 3) which are connected by hinges.

When using structural material fixing fittings for sloping roofs at the upper end of the opposing barrels, if the front and back width (thickness) of the ceiling joists and the barrels are different, use one with an opening groove that matches this. In this case, the opposing barrels can deviate at their upper ends without colliding with each other or intersect in a face-to-face manner. Suitable.

The present invention will be further described below with reference to the drawings showing embodiments. In Fig. 1, reference numeral 1 indicates a structural member fixing fitting, and this structural member fixing fitting 1 is made of steel with a thickness of 2.3 mm. ◇ This pair of channel-shaped holding members 2 and 3 each have a 2-inch opening groove 4 and have the same width and the same shape with open left and right ends. is each opening groove 4.

The rest of the structure of the structural fixing fittings in FIGS. 2 and 3 is the same as that in FIG. 1, so the same symbols will be attached and the explanation will be omitted. , is used as shown in FIG. 4 and below. That is, FIG. 4 shows a structure in which the ceiling joists 12a are extended laterally and the eaves 15 are provided thereon. Temporarily fasten nails to the lower surface side of the lower end of the barrel wood 12b through the nail plate fixing holes 8... and then check the water with the bolts and nuts 9.◇At this time, after temporarily fastening, use a drill to It is necessary to provide bolt holes in the structural member 12 in advance or during temporary fixing.

On the other hand, FIG. 5 shows a case where, contrary to FIG. 4, the tall wood 12b is extended and the eave ceiling 15 is formed horizontally from the lower end position, and at this time, the structural material fixing fittings 1 are attached to the tall wood 12b. It is similarly fixed at a predetermined position slightly inward from the lower end of the lower surface of the tree 12b and at a side end position on the upper surface of the ceiling joist 12a.

These structural material fixing fittings 1 are installed inverted so as to face each other at the joints between the left and right facing oaks 12b, 12b constituting the sloping roof and both ends of the ceiling joists 12a. At this time, when the structural material fixing fitting 1 shown in Fig. 1 is used, the opposing barrels 12b, 12b face each other at their upper ends, and the upper holding member 2 in Fig. 2 or 3 is displaced. When the structural material fixing fitting 1 is used, the positions of the barrels 12b and 112b are shifted without colliding with each other at their upper ends due to the above-mentioned inverted installation, or they intersect in a planar shape.

Therefore, at the upper ends of the opposing barrel trees izb, izb,
For example, as shown in FIG. 6, a triangular ceiling joist 12a and oak barrels 12b, 12b are fixed at three points to maintain their shape, using the structural material fixing fittings 1 as they are.

Further, when using the structural fixing fitting 1 shown in FIG. 1 in which the opposing barrels 12b and 12b face each other, they may be fixed at their upper ends with a flat small piece plate as described above. In this case, as a result of setting a maximum angle so that the separation angle of the holding members 2 and 3 is within a predetermined angle, if the angle of the opposing barrel wood 12b cannot be accommodated, a small piece plate may be used, etc. There are cases where the fixture 1 cannot be used.

In addition, in each of Figures 4 to 6, the roof of an existing frame structure building is removed and a 45° or 60° building is installed with an architrave 22 on the pillars 21 to create a residential or storage space with no internal partitions.
This shows an example of installing a new triangular sloped roof using the two-by-four construction method. Figures 4 and 5 show an example in which the roofing board 20 is directly stretched over the tall wood 12b, and Figure 6 19 is a square-shaped open ground with a similar structural material on top of a tall tree 12b.
In Figure 0, which is an example in which the sheathing board 20 is stretched through the roof, 16 indicates a ridgepole, 17 indicates a floor made of a structural baseboard, 18 indicates an internal wall, 13 indicates a nose joint, and 14 indicates a fascia.

By the way, although the above-mentioned structural fixing metal fittings are not shown, on the other hand,
For example, if the ends of the upper holding member are hinged back-to-back at an intermediate position of the lower holding member, the angle of separation will define the maximum angle depending on the inclination angle of the end of the upper holding member. However, if this angle is, for example, 90°, various types of sloped roofs including right-angled triangular roofs can be obtained.

In addition, the hinge connection can be achieved by polymerizing and welding both sides of the hinge to each holding member, but it is preferable to directly connect the holding members with a hinge as in the above embodiment by providing a temporary fixing hole with a nail. It is convenient for

As shown in Figure 6, the hinge diameter can be calculated by adding the thickness t of the structural plywood used for the floor (generally 12 items) to the thickness of the floor, which is attached to multiple ceiling joists in the front and back. In addition, when a product with a plurality of barrels is processed and produced in a factory and delivered to the site, it is convenient because the thickness of the folded and transported product is constant.

On the other hand, the opening groove of each holding member has a minimum width of 2 inches and may be a multiple thereof, thereby ensuring applicability to standard structural materials and laminated structural materials including a plurality of them. In this case, the holding members may not have the same opening groove, but may have different opening grooves, for example, one opening groove of 2 inches and the other opening groove of 4 inches.

That is, the pair of holding members are arranged back-to-back with the respective opening grooves facing in opposite directions, and the holding members are connected by a hinge so that they can be separated at any desired angle. Fitting and fixing with bolts makes it easy to position and fix structural members at a predetermined angle, ensuring safety when working at heights, and making it versatile for use on sloping roofs of various angles.
