【考案の詳細な説明】 (産業上の利用分野) 本考案は主として自動2輪車に用いられるエン
ジンであつて、各気筒を前後に配置し、両気筒用
の一体形シリンダヘツドを備えた水冷形2気筒エ
ンジンに関する。

(考案の構成) 各気筒を前後に並列に配置し、両気筒用の一体

気筒共通の冷却水出口部をシリンダヘツドと一体
に形成し、上記冷却水出口部を略水平横方向に突
出させ、冷却水用サーモスタツトを横向きに、か
つ両気筒中間で冷却水出口側にずれた位置に配し
て冷却水出口部に接続している。

4の両気筒5,6は前後に並んで配置されると共
に、上端部が前上方にくるように傾いている。両
気筒5,6用の一体形シリンダヘツド8は気筒
5,6の上端に固着され、シリンダヘツド8の上
側(前上側)にはエアクリーナ10が配置されて
いる。

出口部19の取付座21とキヤツプ22の間に挾
着されている。即ちサーモスタツト20は両気筒
中間で冷却水出口側にずれた位置に配されてい
る。キヤツプ22は複数のボルト23により出口
部19の左側端面に固着されると共に前方へと延
び、前端部が前記冷却水戻りパイプ18に接続し
ている。26は前側の気筒5用のスタツド孔であ
り、円周方向に等間隔を隔てて5個形成されてい
る。27は後側の気筒6用のスタツド孔であり、
円周方向に等間隔を隔てて5個形成されている。
各スタツド孔26,27には気筒5,6側からヘ
ツド締付ボルトが挿入され、ナツトによりシリン
ダヘツド8が気筒5,6に締め付けられるように
なつている。29は空気抜用の孔であり、第3図
の冷却水ジヤケツト32に連通している。
