In addition, these days, except for one-box cars and high-roof cars, there is a tendency not to make the roof camber large in order to give a straight line appearance to the car body roof. As a result,
When the above-mentioned conventional resting wire is used, as shown in the comparison diagram in FIG. The amount L 1 of pushing up increases, and there is a risk that distortion may occur in the roof panel 2 due to the pushing up. Therefore, measures to prevent distortion are taken by increasing the thickness of the roof panel 2 to increase its strength. There were times when I had to do this. In addition, near both sides of the vehicle body, the amount of penetration of both side parts 1b of the resting wire 1 into the interior of the vehicle is large, so the dead space L2 between the resting wire 1 and the roof panel 2 becomes large, and the head clearance is reduced. There was a problem of reducing it.

目的を達成するようにしたものである。 Therefore, the present invention has been devised in view of the above-mentioned conventional problems, and it is possible to prevent distortion of the roof panel without increasing the strength of the roof panel, and to increase the head clearance of the roof side portion. In addition to enlarging the retaining wire, it is possible to prevent the retaining wire from rotating. To this end, in the present invention, vehicle body engaging portions are provided at both left and right ends, and between the vehicle body engaging portions, a head lining hanging portion is provided that is bent approximately to match the shape of the roof panel of the vehicle body, and is formed on both left and right sides of the roof panel. In the automobile retaining wire, in which the vehicle body engaging part is engaged with the roof side panel, and the ceiling lining is hung from the head lining hanging part, the cross section of the left and right sides of the head lining hanging part is viewed from the front and back. The intended purpose is achieved by providing an automobile retaining wire which is formed into a flat shape and whose cross section gradually becomes round toward the center.

なつている。 Reference numeral a denotes a resting wire for hanging an inner lining 12 attached to the roof panel 11 (ceiling) of the vehicle body, and at both left and right ends of the retaining wire a are roof side wires formed at both left and right ends of the roof panel 11 of the vehicle body. A vehicle body engaging portion 15 is provided that engages with an engaging hole 14a drilled in the roof side inner panel 14 of the panel 13, and both vehicle body engaging portions 1
A head lining hanging portion 16 is provided between the roof panels 5 and 5, which is bent to approximately match the shape of the roof panel 11 of the vehicle body. The head lining hanging part 16
A flat portion 17 is formed on both the left and right sides of the cross section by pressing or the like so that the cross section becomes flat in the front and back by being crushed in the vertical direction, and the cross-sectional shape is such that the central portion 17a side is flat and flat. , end 1
The 7b side is made to bulge forward and backward.
Further, the amount of flattening gradually changes so that it becomes larger on the end side (see FIG. 4) than on the center side (see FIG. 3) of the head lining hanging portion 16.

As a result, as shown in the comparison diagram in Fig. 5, the amount of protrusion L 3 of the roof panel 2 of the conventional resting wire 1 can be made smaller than the amount L 1 of the roof panel 2 near the center in the left-right direction of the vehicle body. , Also, near both sides of the car body, the resting wire a is flattened 17
By doing so, it is possible to greatly deform the wire toward the roof panel 11, so that the dead space L4 between the resting wire a and the roof panel 11 can be made smaller compared to conventional products.

I was able to deform it into a curved shape that suited my needs. Therefore, even if the roof panel is not made very strong, distortion of the roof panel can be eliminated and head clearance on both sides of the vehicle body can be secured. Furthermore, according to the present invention, by forming flat parts with flattened cross sections in the front and back on both the left and right sides of the head lining hanging part of the resting wire, these parts can come into surface contact with the roof panel, so that the resting This has the effect of being able to prevent rotation.
