However, in order to perform the compression connection of the branch fittings using such a compressor, it is necessary to attach the battledore portion (10' in FIGS. 1A and 1B) of the branch fittings to the die.
) can escape (a space that can accommodate the battledore part in an uncompressed state even when the die is closed)
It is necessary to provide a compressor, and the size of the compressor is unavoidable due to the increase in the size of the die and the size of the frame that accompanies this increase in size.

In FIGS. 2A to 2C, 2b is a lower die attached to the ram. 41, 41 and 4
2 and 42 are four pillars, and each pillar has a stopper 5.
The above-mentioned upper plate 1a is supported. Of these four pillars, two pillars 41, 41 are lock nuts 4
11,411 is fixed to the upper plate 1a,
As shown in FIG. 4A, the holes 410, 410 in the upper plate 1a through which the two pillars pass are ordinary through holes. The other two pillars 42, 42 can be tilted horizontally,
The lower ends of these pillars 42, 42 are attached to the lower plate 1b with pins 42.
1,421, and the upper end is shown in Fig. 4A.
Lock nuts 422, 422 with handles are housed in notched grooves 420, 420 of the upper plate 1a shown in FIG.
It is fastened to the upper plate 1a by. Therefore, pillar 4
2, 42 is a lock nut with handle 422, 42
If 2 is loosened, it can be laid down using the pins 421, 421 as rotational fulcrums. It is desirable to provide C-shaped counterbore portions 402, 402 in the notched grooves 420, 420, in order to fit the lock nuts 422, 422 with handles therein, as shown in FIGS. 4A and 4B. If you do this, pillars 42, 42
Even though the fastening points at the upper ends are the notch grooves 420, 420, the fastening can be performed reliably.

In this way, the non-compressible part of the branch fitting can be released into the gap between the columns, so there is no need to provide a space in the die itself for the non-compressible part to escape, and a small die can be used. Furthermore, the upper and lower plates are fixed by at least one pillar, and the wires can escape by leaving the upper and lower plates fixed and tilting the other pillars sideways. Therefore, the upper and lower plates can always be held in the correct predetermined positions, and as a result, the upper die attached to the upper plate and the lower die attached to the ram of the lower plate can be held in their predetermined positions without shifting. The key is to match it accurately.

All of the pillars are made to be able to fall sideways, and by turning the pillars on the other side sideways, the electric wires are allowed to escape to the other side.

As described above, according to the electric wire connection compressor according to the present invention, when a branch fitting having a non-compressible portion is compressively connected to an electric wire at the compression portion, the non-compressible portion (the protrusion in the direction perpendicular to the wire) is removed from the outside of the die. Since the die can be made smaller, the entire compressor can be made smaller. In addition, all of the pillars that connect the upper and lower plates and the pillars on one side of the electric wire that passes between the compression dies can be tilted horizontally.
By falling these pillars horizontally, the wire can be easily inserted into and removed from between the compression dies, and since at least one of the pillars on the other side of both sides of the wire is fixed, Even when a side pillar falls sideways (i.e., when inserting or removing electric wires), the upper and lower plates can remain fixed, eliminating the movement of the upper and lower plates. This effectively prevents the upper and lower dies from shifting, which is difficult to avoid in some cases.

Furthermore, a lower die is attached to the ram, and an upper die is attached to the upper plate, and the space directly above the lower die,
In addition, the space directly below the lower die can be made into a three-sided open space by laying down all the pillars on one side of the electric wire, and each die can be easily replaced.
