Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent abnormal sinking of a tread, secure safety of passengers, and lighten the conveyer, by providing a support piece which is fixed to the bottom of one of adjacent treads and extends to the bottom of the other, and providing the lower side of the support piece with a support rail continuing between putting-on/off openings. CONSTITUTION: Of multiple connecting treads, a first tread 10 is fixed to the bottom of a lower support frame 10b under a surface material 10a, and is extended to the bottom of a second tread 11. The tread 10 has a support piece 10A separating by a micro gap g1 from this bottom, and a support rail 12 is arranged a micro gap g2 away from the support piece 10A. When the central part of the tread 10 suffers excessive load F1 , it sinks by the gap g2 , but after that the sinking is prevented by support of the support rail 12. When the tread 11 suffers excessive load F2 , it sinks by the gap g1 , but after that the sinking is prevented by support of the support piece 10A. When they suffer extremely abnormal large load, their sinking is prevented by the support rail 12 by closing gaps g2 , g1 .

[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Industrial Application Field] The present invention relates to a treadboard for a passenger conveyor that moves on a horizontal road or a gentle slope, and in particular, to prevent abnormal subsidence of the central part of adjacent treadboards. The present invention relates to a footboard suitable for improving safety and reducing weight.

A passenger conveyor transports passengers by placing them on endlessly connected treads along a horizontal path or a gentle slope, and supporting the upper body of the passenger with a moving handrail that moves in synchronization with the treads. The surface of the tread is equipped with many vertically long unevennesses, and these unevennesses are connected to the top and bottom of the floorboard of the terminal entrance.

Up until now, the width of the tread has generally been about 1 m for two people, but recently, wider treads have appeared that can be used by three people side by side, as shown in Figure 3. In detail, the width W of the tread plate 1 is about 1.6 m, and this tread plate 1
Passengers move between movable handrails 2 placed on both sides of the handrail and handrails 3 that support the handrails. This wide type is installed at airports and stations for passengers carrying large luggage, and the tread 1 is equipped with a support frame IA as shown in Japanese Patent Application Laid-open No. 58-172181 (Fig. 3). Make it sturdy, and
A transfer roller IB and a guide rail IC are added to the center to cope with the increase in weight due to the wider width (increasing the rigidity of the entire treadle). It should be noted that a normal treadle is usually moved with transfer rollers and guide rails provided at both left and right ends.

In the above-mentioned conventional example, strength is maintained by providing a transfer roller IB and a guide rail IC supporting the same in the central part where the footboard 1 sinks the most when it receives a load F from three passengers or large luggage. This configuration made it possible to expand the range. Without the exemplary central support structure, when subjected to load F, tread 1 would be 61. This is extremely dangerous as the gap δ8 between the footboard 1 and the comb board 5 of the entrance/exit door 4 expands as indicated by δ2, drawing toes and foreign objects into this space.
The existence value of companies such as Transfer Roller IB is great.

However, on the other hand, the increased weight of the structure for installing the transfer roller IB reduces the strength of the building.

The above purpose is to provide a support piece that is fixed to the bottom of one of the adjacent treads and extends to the bottom of the other tread, and to provide a continuous support rail below this support piece from one entrance to the other. This is achieved by If this state is limited to the adjacent treadle, it will be fixed below the first treadle,
Providing a sled-shaped support piece extending below the second tread,
The support piece prevents the first stepboard from sinking, and the support rail further prevents the support piece from sinking.

This support piece prevents the second footboard from sinking, and the support rail limits abnormal sinking of the second footboard and the first footboard. As a result, abnormal subsidence is prevented over the entire travel path of the treadle, and safety inconveniences associated with subsidence are eliminated. Further, the support piece is small and lightweight and exhibits the above-mentioned effect.

In the figure, to explain only two of the many connected footboards, the first footboard 10 is fixed to the support frame 10b at the bottom of the support frame 10b below the surface material 10a.
(fixed with screws Z) and extends to the bottom of the second footboard 11, with a support piece 10A having a small gap g1 from this bottom.
Furthermore, a feature is that a support rail 12 is disposed below the support piece 10A with a small gap g2 therebetween. Here, when the central portion of the footboard 10 receives an excessive load F1, it sinks by the gap 22, and is further supported by the support rail 12 and prevented from sinking. Also,
When the footboard 11 receives a load F2, it sinks by the gap g1, and further sinking is prevented by being supported by the support piece 10A, but if it receives an extremely abnormal large load, the gap g2 sinks. + Close gl and finally support rail 1

In this way, the safety problem caused by the abnormal sinking of the treadle is solved, and there is an advantage that it can be solved with lightweight parts. Note that even if the support rail 12 is provided only in the vicinity of the comb plate 5, it has a safety effect.
