Claims (1)

  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 現在位置を含む地図エリアを検出する手段と、 各エリア別に地図情報を記憶させてなるＣＤ―
    ＲＯＭ、磁気デスク等の外部メモリと、 ＶＤＴの１画面に相当する画像情報を記憶させ
    るための主Ｖ―ＲＡＭと、 無線送信された交通情報を受信するための手段
    と、 前記受信された交通情報に相当する文字または
    図形を、ＶＤＴ画面に写し出されている地図上の
    該当地域に重ねて表示させるように主Ｖ―ＲＡＭ
    に対する書込を行なう手段と、 を備え、前記検出された現在位置を含むエリア
    が切換わるたびに、前記外部メモリから該当エリ
    アの地図情報を読み出して、その内容により前記
    主Ｖ―ＲＡＭを書換えるようにした車両用表示装
    置において、前記受信された交通情報の中で、現
    在ＶＤＴ画面に表示されている地域以外に関する
    情報については、これを文字または図形に相当す
    る画像情報に変換して補助Ｖ―ＲＡＭに書込ませ
    る手段と、 前記主Ｖ―ＲＡＭの書換え動作中にあつては、
    前記補助Ｖ―ＲＡＭの画像情報を前記ＶＤＴ画面
    に表示させる手段と、 を設けたことを特徴とする車両用表示装置。
