Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the temp. drop of the molten metal of the inside of an injection sleeve, to prevent the generation of a gas and to improve the quality of a casting by coating a powder lubricant having lubricity on the lubricating face of the injection sleeve of a casting machine. CONSTITUTION:The powder lubricant having lubricity is coated on the lubricating face of an injection sleeve composed of the mutual friction face of the inner peripheral face of the injection sleeve and the outer peripheral face of a plunger tip in the title casting machine. The conductive powder body of a graphite, metal, etc., the non-conductive powder body of a boron, tale, etc., or those which mix a resin powder to these powder bodies, etc., are used for said lubricant. This powder lubricant has a heat insulating action without generating the temp. reduction of the injection sleeve inner face at its coating time to reduce the solidification rate of a molten metal. Nor it generates any gas at the molten metal pouring time. A casting of high quality can thus be stably cast.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] <Industrial Application Field> The present invention provides a method for lubricating the lubricating surface of an injection sleeve (referring to the mutual sliding surface between the inner circumferential surface of the indexing sleeve and the outer circumferential surface of the plunger tip) in a casting device. It is related to.

<Prior art> Conventional sleeve lubrication methods in casting equipment include a method of constructing the plunger tip or injection sleeve using a self-lubricating material, and a method of applying a lubricant to the lubricated surface of the injection sleeve. was there.

However, in the latter case, the lubricant was dissolved or dispersed in water or oil and applied by spraying or dripping.
That is, not only when using lubricants that are liquid themselves such as oil-based lubricants, but also when using 81'fJ agents that are solid or powdery by themselves such as graphite and boron. Because it was applied in liquid form by dissolving or dispersing it in oil, etc., when the molten metal was poured into the Q=I exit sleeve, it reacted and generated gas, which was caught up in the molten metal and caused damage to the casting. There was a problem that degraded the quality. Moreover, when the lubricant is applied, the inner surface of the injection sleeve is cooled, and as a result, the molten metal poured into the injection sleeve solidifies faster, increasing the solidification rate and causing defective products such as roughness. There was a problem that caused this.

<Problems to be Solved by the Invention> The present invention has been devised in view of the above-described problems in the prior art. It is an object of the present invention to provide a novel method for lubricating a sleeve in a casting device, which does not cause problems and does not generate gas when pouring molten metal into the cut sleeve.

Then, this powdered lubricant is applied as it is (in powder form) to the lubricating surface of the indexing sleeve (the mutual sliding surface between the inner circumferential surface of the injection sleeve and the outer circumferential surface of the plunger tip). The powdered lubricant can be applied to the lubricated surface of the injection sleeve by a spray method using air as a carrier, an electrostatic coating method using static electricity, or by applying the powdered lubricant inside a bag like a rosin pack. Possible methods include putting it in a container and rubbing or slamming it against it.

<Effects of the Invention> Since the sleeve lubrication method in the casting apparatus of the present invention applies a lubricating powder lubricant to the lubricating surface of the injection sleeve, the following effects are achieved.

■ When lubricant is applied to the lubricating surface of the indexing sleeve, the internal temperature of the indexing sleeve does not drop. Therefore, the inner temperature of the injection sleeve becomes stable, the solidification of the molten metal poured into the indexing sleeve slows down, and the solidification rate decreases, resulting in a good and stable flow of the molten metal, resulting in high quality castings. Can be cast stably.

■ When applying lubricant to the lubricated surface of the injection sleeve, unlike conventional methods, a liquid carrier is not required.
The air blow process after applying the lubricant can be omitted, so
It is possible to shorten the casting cycle. Moreover, there is no generation of gas when pouring molten metal into the injection sleeve.
Therefore, gas is no longer involved in the molten metal as in the past, so the strength of the cast product is improved and variations in strength are reduced.

(2) Due to the heat insulating effect of the powder of the powdered lubricant, the solidification of the molten metal poured into the injection sleeve is slowed down and the solidification rate is reduced, producing the same effect as in (2) above.
