BACKGROUND TECHNOLOGY In order to prevent damage to ships or quay structures, as shown in FIG. An air bag type fender 4 (hereinafter referred to as pneumatic fender) is formed by screwing a closing plate 3 equipped with an air supply/exhaust valve into the openings formed at both ends on the long axis of the , as shown in FIG. 4, polyethylene,
A foam-filled fender is formed by filling a foam 6 such as polyurethane, burying a shaft pipe 7 along the axis of the foam, and further inserting a shaft 8 or a chain for attachment into the shaft pipe. Material 9 is commonly used. In addition to the above, foam/air envelope type fenders are also known in which a foam layer and an outer skin layer are formed on the outer surface of an air envelope for the same purpose.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention The above-mentioned pneumatic fender 4 or foam-filled fender 9 usually has a chain 11 connected to a link 10 fixed to both ends of the fender, as shown in FIG. The fender is suspended and supported from a quay wall structure or the ship's side so that the axis of the fender is parallel to the water surface, and is used in a state where it floats on the water surface. However, the above-mentioned pneumatic fender 4 and foam filling type fender 9, which are collectively referred to as floating fenders,
In addition, when a ship with a shallow freeboard comes into contact with a foam/air bladder type fender, the fenders 4, 9, etc. compressed between the side 12 and the quay 13 or between the sides will fall onto the deck as shown in Figure 6. There is a danger that crew members and workers may be thrown off, ship equipment on deck may be destroyed, or cargo may collapse. In addition, the pneumatic fender 4 may be used in a semi-submerged state by injecting water into the air envelope 2 in order to adjust its buoyancy, but in this case, the fender function is reduced by the amount of water injected. Furthermore, in some cases, waves or strong winds may cause the axes of the fenders 4, 9, etc. to be deflected to be perpendicular to the side 12 or the quay 13, as shown in FIG.
For this reason, especially in the case of the foam-filled fender 9 shown in FIG. 4, disadvantages such as damage to the side 12 by the shaft tube 7 and bending of the shaft tube 7 have been observed.

Embodiment FIG. 1 is a front view illustrating an installed state of a floating fender 20 according to the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a side view thereof. The floating fender 20 according to the present invention may be of the known rubber bladder type or foam filling type, but the floating fender 20 may be of the known rubber bladder type or foam filling type. A sandbag 22 whose weight can be adjusted is attached to a main body 23 of the sandbag 20. The weight can also be adjusted by increasing or decreasing the number of sandbags 22. The floating fender 20 thus formed is used by being suspended and fixed to the side 12 or quay 13 via a suspension support member such as a suspension chain 24. Furthermore, in the present invention, as a preferred embodiment, in order to improve the shock absorption performance of the floating fender 20, a suitable fixing member 25 such as a fixing wire or chain is attached to the outer surface of the floating fender 20. It is also possible to mount an auxiliary shock absorbing member 26 that is elastically deformable, such as an old tire.

Effects of the Invention As is clear from the above explanation, the floating fender according to the present invention adjusts the height of the ship's freeboard or quay structure by adjusting the weight of the sandbag attached to the fender. A suitable shock absorbing position can be secured. Therefore, it is possible to prevent accidents caused by the sudden jumping up of the fender when a ship with a shallow freeboard comes into contact with the fender, and to significantly improve the protective effect for the ship's side and the quay structure.

The floating type fender according to the present invention also does not require adjusting the amount of water injected into the interior to change the fixed position, unlike conventional pneumatic fenders, so incompressible water can be injected. It is possible to prevent the deterioration of the fender function caused by this.
