Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the watertightness between the inside and outside of an automobile by providing a supporting lip the free end portion of which is bent in an automobile outside direction, on the outside end portion of the base portion fixed to a door peripheral edge portion of a weather strip and making this supporting lip support the tip end portion of a hollow seal lip at the time of closing a door. 上記中空シールリップ5の車外側への倒れを防止する倒
れ防止リップ6とから主として構成されている。そして
、ドア2の閉時に、上記中空シールリップ5の略直角に
屈曲した先端部7の内端面7ユが車体のサイドシル8の
外端部8aに変形しっつ当接して車内外を密封するよう
になっている(特開昭61−226324号公報等参照
)。

て強圧水Wが矢印Aに示す経路によって車室内に侵入す
るといった問題がある。

徴とする自動車用ドアウェザーストリップ。
