ラツキが大きく均一で良好な古美調外観が得られない欠
点があづた。又、エッヂ部等のパフの当り易い箇所は中
間層の貴金属メッキ層が著しく磨耗減少し耐食性品質が
低下する欠点があった。又前述の2では仕上層の黒クロ
ムメッキ層をホーニングによりガラスピーズを一定圧力
で部品に吹き付けるためエッヂ部等の中間層の貴金属メ
ッキ層が著しく磨耗し、又ガラスピーズ中の異物の打ち
込みにより耐食性品質が低下する欠点があった。又仕上
り外観としては全体的に均一ではあるがコントラストが
出にくく、且つ光沢のない外観となり良好な古美外観が

〔実施例1〕
黄銅材により形成された時計ケースに、下地層としてニ
ッケルメッキ4μm、中間層としてパラジウム−ニッケ
ル合金メッキ5μm、ついでロジウムメッキ0.2μm
、仕上層として黒色ロジウムメッキ0.2μmを積層被
覆した後、バレル研磨機により、コーンメディアを用い

り曲げ)、熱ショック(200°CXl0分峙水冷)、
耐食性(人工汗浸漬40℃X 24 ”)の品質試験を
行った結果、時計ケースとしての外観、密着性、耐食性

、実施例1と同様の仕上加工を行い、黒色ルテニウムメ
ッキ被膜を部分的に除去し、白色基調の古美調時計ケー
スを製作した。第2図は上記方法により形成した時計ケ
ースの被膜構成を示す。この方法により製作した時計ケ
ースは、実施例1と同様の品質試験を行った結果、時計
ケースとしての外観、密着性、耐食性を十分満足するも

ム、ライター、ネクタイピン、装身具等の装飾部品すべ
