上記センタリング機構、上記フランジシール部材、および上記シールアセンブリを単一の構築物として結合するように構成されたリテーナフレームアセンブリであって、上記リテーナフレームアセンブリが第1および第2の部材を含み、上記センタリング機構の上記内側コイル部分がシールアセンブリと上記リテーナフレームアセンブリの上記第2の部材との間に配設されている、リテーナフレームアセンブリと、を含む、アクセスアセンブリ。

上記複数のコイルの各コイルが、上記器具バルブハウジングの上記第1の表面と上記リテーナフレームアセンブリの上記第1の部材の一対の隣接するピンによって画定されたギャップとの間に延びている、上記項目のいずれか一項に記載のアクセスアセンブリ。

上記バルブアセンブリを上記器具バルブハウジングの上記空洞内のほぼ中央の位置に向けて付勢するように構成されたセンタリング機構であって、上記センタリング機構が、トロイダル形状を有するメッシュを含み、上記メッシュが、上記器具バルブハウジングの上記側面と上記フランジシール部材の一部との間に介在されるように構成されている、センタリング機構と、を含む、アクセスアセンブリ。

上記メッシュが、上記フランジシール部材の上記弓状部分の遠位に配設されている、上記項目に記載のアクセスアセンブリ。

Claims (13)
- アクセスアセンブリであって、前記アクセスアセンブリは、
空洞を画定する器具バルブハウジングと、
前記器具バルブハウジングの前記空洞内に配置されているバルブアセンブリと
を含み、
前記バルブアセンブリは、
前記器具バルブハウジングの第1の表面および第2の表面にシール関係で調節可能に係合するように構成されている弓状部分を含むフランジシール部材と、
前記アクセスアセンブリに挿入された外科用器具にシール関係で係合するように構成されているシールアセンブリと、
前記バルブアセンブリを前記器具バルブハウジングの前記空洞内のほぼ中央の位置に向けて付勢するように構成されているセンタリング機構であって、前記センタリング機構は、複数のコイルを含み、前記複数のコイルは、円形構成で配列され、かつ、中央開口を画定し、前記複数のコイルは、前記シールアセンブリで動作可能に固定されている内側コイル部分と、前記器具バルブハウジングの前記第1の表面に係合するように構成されている外側コイル部分とを含む、センタリング機構と、
前記センタリング機構および前記フランジシール部材および前記シールアセンブリを単一の構築物として結合するように構成されているリテーナフレームアセンブリであって、前記リテーナフレームアセンブリは、第1の部材および第2の部材を含み、前記センタリング機構の前記内側コイル部分は、前記シールアセンブリと前記リテーナフレームアセンブリの前記第2の部材との間に配置されている、リテーナフレームアセンブリと
を含む、アクセスアセンブリ。 - 前記センタリング機構は、実質的に平坦なプロファイルを有する、請求項1に記載のアクセスアセンブリ。
- 前記センタリング機構は、第1の状態と第2の状態との間で前記センタリング機構を遷移させる弾性材料で形成されており、前記第1の状態では、前記センタリング機構の前記中央開口がほぼ中央の位置に配置されており、前記第2の状態では、前記中央開口が前記ほぼ中央の位置から半径方向に変位されている、請求項1に記載のアクセスアセンブリ。
- 前記センタリング機構が前記第2の状態にあるとき、前記センタリング機構の一部が圧縮可能である、請求項3に記載のアクセスアセンブリ。
- 前記センタリング機構の前記複数のコイルの各コイルは、円形プロファイルを有する、請求項1に記載のアクセスアセンブリ。
- 前記複数のコイルの各コイルは、前記器具バルブハウジングの前記第1の表面と前記リテーナフレームアセンブリの前記第1の部材の一対の隣接するピンによって画定されたギャップとの間に延びている、請求項5に記載のアクセスアセンブリ。
