Description
40~100℃の間で、炭酸エチレンを溶融し、又は溶融した炭酸エチレンと核剤を混合し、接着材料を製造するステップ1であって、炭酸エチレンと核剤の質量分率比は90%~100%:0%~10%であるステップ1と、
接着材料を多孔質ベース膜の片面又は両面にコーティングした後、室温(例えば、25℃)で冷却し又は7~15℃の低温で補助冷却し、前記セパレーターを得るステップ2とを含む。
背景技術で述べたように、従来の二次電池のコーティングされた隔膜には、ホットプレス温度が高く、接着強度が低く、塗膜材料がリチウムイオンの輸送に影響を与え、塗膜材料の副反応により電池の初回効率が低減し、塗膜材料が電池の内部空間を占め、電池のエネルギー密度に影響を与えるという問題が存在している。
40~100℃の間(例えば、60℃)で、炭酸エチレンを溶融し、又は溶融した炭酸エチレンと核剤を混合し、接着材料を製造するステップ1であって、炭酸エチレンと核剤の質量分率比は90%~100%:0%~10%であるステップ1と、
接着材料を多孔質ベース膜の片面又は両面にコーティングした後、室温(例えば、25℃)で冷却し又は7~15℃(例えば、7~10℃)の低温で補助冷却し、前記セパレーターを得るステップ2とを含む。
本願の二次電池では、正極シートは正極集電体と、正極集電体に設置され正極活物質を含む正極材料層とを含んでもよく、前記正極材料層は正極集電体の1つの表面に設置されてもよく、又は正極集電体の2つの表面に設置されてもよい。
本願の二次電池では、負極シートは負極集電体と、負極集電体に設置され負極活物質を含む負極材料層とを含んでもよく、前記負極材料層は負極集電体の1つの表面に設置されてもよく、負極集電体の2つの表面に設置されてもよい。
電解質は正極シートと負極シートとの間にイオン伝導の役割を果たす。本願は、電解質の種類を具体的に制限せず、ニーズに応じて選択できる。例えば、電解質は、液体、ゲル状又は全固体であってもよい。
正極シート、セパレーター、負極シートを順に積み重ね、セパレーターを正極シートと負極シートとの間に配置し、次に巻回して電極組立体(ベアセル)を得るステップ1と、
電極組立体を二次電池ケースに配置し、乾燥した後に電解液を注入し、次に化成、排気等の工程を行って、二次電池を製造するステップ2とを含む。
以下、本願の実施例を説明する。以下に説明される実施例は例示的なものであり、本願を解釈するためのものに過ぎず、本願を限定するものとして理解してはならない。実施例において具体的な技術又は条件が記載されていない場合、本分野内の文献に説明されている技術、条件又は製品仕様に従って実行される。使用される試薬や機器は、メーカーが記載されていない場合、いずれも市販で入手可能な通常のものである。
[比較例1]
(1)塗膜材料の製造
12μmのポリプロピレン基材微孔性セパレーターを選択し、ステップ(1)で調製したコーティング液をスプレーコーティング装置でセパレーターの表面に均一にスプレーコーティングし、55℃で乾燥し、巻回し、比較例1のセパレーターを製造した。
(1)塗膜材料の製造
12μmのポリプロピレン基材微孔性セパレーターを選択し、前記ステップ(2)で調製したコーティング液をスプレーコーティング装置でセパレーターの表面に均一にスプレーコーティングし、冷却して巻回し、比較例2のセパレーターを製造した。
[セパレーター接着材料1の製造]
(1)10.00kgの炭酸エチレンを加熱システム及び分散ディスク付きのミキサー(Ross社製、DPD-4R)に加え、60℃で、1h保温し、炭酸エチレンが完全に溶融した後、セパレーター接着材料1を得た。
12μmのポリプロピレン基材微孔性セパレーターを選択し、加熱スプレーコーティングシステム付きのスプレーコーティング装置(KATOP)で、セパレーター接着材料1をセパレーターの表面に均一にスプレーコーティングし、塗布重量が1.5±0.2g/m2であり、7~10℃の低温ボックスで冷却し、巻回し、実施例1のリチウム二次電池のセパレーターを製造した。
(1)セパレーター接着材料2の製造
12μmのポリプロピレン基材微孔性セパレーターを選択し、加熱スプレーコーティングシステム付きのスプレーコーティング装置(KATOP)で、セパレーター接着材料2をセパレーターの表面に均一にスプレーコーティングし、塗布重量が1.5±0.2g/m2であり、冷却し、巻回し、実施例2のリチウム二次電池のセパレーターを製造した。
(1)セパレーター接着材料3の製造
9.95kgの炭酸エチレンを加熱システム及び分散ディスク付きのミキサーに加え、60℃で、1h保温し、炭酸エチレンが完全に溶融した後、0.05kgのステアリン酸カルシウム粉末(D50=1.2μm)を加え、1h分散撹拌し、セパレーター接着材料3を得た。
12μmのポリプロピレン基材微孔性セパレーターを選択し、加熱スプレーコーティングシステム付きのスプレーコーティング装置で、セパレーター接着材料3をセパレーターの表面に均一にスプレーコーティングし、1.5±0.2g/m2であり、冷却し、巻回し、実施例3のリチウム二次電池のセパレーターを製造した。
(1)セパレーター接着材料4の製造
9.50kgの炭酸エチレンを加熱システム及び分散ディスク付きのミキサーに加え、60℃で、1h保温し、炭酸エチレンが完全に溶融した後、0.50kgのナノシリコンパウダー(NYACOL S125M、一次粒径が70~80nmである)を加え、1h分散撹拌し、セパレーター接着材料4を得た。
12μmのポリプロピレン基材微孔性セパレーターを選択し、加熱スプレーコーティングシステム付きのスプレーコーティング装置で、セパレーター接着材料4をセパレーターの表面に均一にスプレーコーティングし、1.5±0.2g/m2であり、冷却し、巻回し、実施例4のリチウム二次電池のセパレーターを製造した。
(1)セパレーター接着材料5の製造
9.00kgの炭酸エチレンを加熱システム及び分散ディスク付きのミキサーに加え、60℃で、1h保温し、炭酸エチレンが完全に溶融した後、1.00kgの酸化アルミニウム粉末(D50=1μm)を加え、1h分散撹拌し、セパレーター接着材料5を得た。
12μmのポリプロピレン基材微孔性セパレーターを選択し、加熱スプレーコーティングシステム付きのスプレーコーティング装置で、セパレーター接着材料5をセパレーターの表面に均一にスプレーコーティングし、塗布重量が1.5±0.2g/m2であり、冷却し、巻回し、実施例5のリチウム二次電池のセパレーターを製造した。
リン酸鉄リチウム、導電剤であるアセチレンブラック、接着剤であるポリフッ化ビニリデン(PVDF)を97:2:1の質量比で均一に混合して、溶剤であるN-メチル-2-ピロリドン(NMP)に加え、一定の粘度の正極スラリーを調製し、正極スラリーを正極集電体のアルミ箔に均一に塗布し、乾燥した後にコールドプレス、打ち抜き、スリットを行い、リチウムイオン電池の正極シートを製造した。
負極活物質であるグラファイト、導電剤であるアセチレンブラック、増粘剤であるカルボキシメチルセルロースナトリウム(CMC-Na)、接着剤であるスチレン・ブタジエンゴム(SBR)を96:2:1:1の質量比で均一に混合して溶剤水に加え、負極スラリーを調製し、負極スラリーを負極集電体の銅箔に均一に塗布し、乾燥した後にコールドプレス、打ち抜き、スリットを行い、リチウムイオン電池の負極シートを製造した。
六フッ化リン酸リチウムを炭酸エチレン、炭酸ジメチル及び炭酸エチルメチルの混合溶剤(炭酸エチレン、炭酸ジメチル及び炭酸エチルメチルの体積比が1:2:1である)に溶解し、必要な電解液を得た。
上記の正極シート、負極シート及びセパレーターを積層構造に製造し、ホットプレスした後にベアセルを製造し、次にカプセル化、注液、化成、排気等の工程を行って、リチウムイオン電池を製造した。
[面密度試験]
セパレーターの塗布方向に垂直な方向に沿って、セパレーターの左部、中部及び右部にそれぞれ100mm×100mmのサンプルを切り取り、精度が万分の一(0.0001)の分析天秤で計量し、3つのサンプルの面密度平均値を計算し、セパレーターの面密度と記し、単位はg/m2であり、式は以下のとおりである。
面密度(g/m2)=サンプル質量(g)/0.01(m2)
セパレーターの塗布方向に垂直な方向に沿って、セパレーターの左部、中部及び右部にそれぞれ100mm×100mmのサンプルを切り取り、膜厚計(Mahr、Millimar C1208)でサンプルの中央部分の厚さを測定し、3つのサンプルの厚さ平均値を計算し、セパレーターの厚さと記し、単位はμmである。
コーティングされた後のセパレーターをそれぞれ正極シート及び負極シートと平らに積み重ね、フラットヒートプレスを用いて、50℃で、1Tの圧力で、3sホットプレスした後に取り出し、冷却する。冷却後にカッターで長さが150mm、幅が20mmのサンプルを切断し、万能張力機(Instron 3365)を使用して、GB/T2790-1995『粘着剤180°剥離強度試験方法 可撓性材料対剛性材料』の試験方法に従って剥離強度試験を行って、剥離強度の単位はN/mである。
セパレーターの塗布方向に垂直な方向に沿って、セパレーターの左部、中部及び右部にそれぞれ100mm×100mmのサンプルを切り取り、デジタル型王研式透気度試験機(AsahiSeiko旭精工社製、EGO1-65-2MR)でセパレーターの透気度試験を行って、3つのサンプルの平均透気度を計算し、セパレーターの透気度と記し、単位はs/100CCである。
セパレーターを40mm×20mmのサンプルに切断し、切断されたセパレーターを積み重ね、4層ごとに1グループにし、市販の電解液でセパレーターを完全に濡らし、次にグローブボックスで試験用の対称電池を組み立てる。電気化学ワークステーションでセパレーターのインピーダンス試験を行って、測定範囲は1Hz~100000Hzであり、印加された交流信号は5mVで分極される。交流インピーダンスの試験結果からイオン導電率を計算することができ、式は以下のとおりである。

δはイオン導電率を表し、単位がmS/cmであり、Aは試験用セパレーターの面積を表し、単位がcm2であり、Lは試験用セパレーターの厚さを表し、Rは試験用セパレーターの抵抗を表す。
[初回充電容量]
セルを0.01Cの定電流で3.65Vに充電し、使用された電量を初回充電容量と記し、単位はmAhである。
セルを0.1Cの定電流で2.0Vに放電し、該過程の放電量を初回放電容量と記し、単位はmAhである。
初回充放電効率=初回放電容量/初回充電容量×100%

- セパレーターであって、多孔質ベース膜と、前記多孔質ベース膜の片面又は両面に塗布される接着層とを含み、前記接着層は炭酸エチレンと核剤で構成されるセパレーター。
- 前記炭酸エチレンの質量百分率が90%以上且つ100%未満である請求項1に記載のセパレーター。
- 前記炭酸エチレンの質量百分率が99%以上且つ100%未満である請求項2に記載のセパレーター。
- 前記核剤は無機核剤、有機核剤又はそれらの組み合わせであり、
前記無機核剤は、金属又は非金属の酸化物、水酸化物、フッ化物、硫酸塩、ケイ酸塩、リン酸塩、炭酸塩及びカーボンブラックのうちの1つ又は複数であり、

- 前記多孔質ベース膜の材料は、ポリプロピレン、ポリエチレン、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、ポリイミド、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン、ポリフッ化ビニリデン、フッ化ビニリデン-テトラフルオロエチレン共重合体、フッ化ビニリデン-ヘキサフルオロプロピレン共重合体、テトラフルオロエチレン-プロピレン共重合体、ポリアミド、ポリアクリロニトリル、ビスコース繊維、シルク繊維のうちの1つ又は複数である請求項1~9のいずれか1項に記載のセパレーター。
- 前記多孔質ベース膜の厚さは5~30μmである請求項1~10のいずれか1項に記載のセパレーター。
- 前記接着層は連続塗膜又は不連続塗膜である請求項1~11のいずれか1項に記載のセパレーター。
- 前記接着層の被覆率は1~100%である請求項1~12のいずれか1項に記載のセパレーター。
- 前記接着層の厚さは0.1~100μmである請求項1~13のいずれか1項に記載のセパレーター。
- セパレーターの製造方法であって、前記方法は、接着材料を多孔質ベース膜の片面又は両面にコーティングし、接着材料を室温又は室温未満の環境で冷却固化し、接着層を形成することを含み、前記接着材料は溶融した炭酸エチレンと核剤で構成されるセパレーターの製造方法。
- 40~100℃の間で、炭酸エチレンを溶融し、又は溶融した炭酸エチレンと核剤を混合し、接着材料を製造するステップ1であって、炭酸エチレンと核剤の質量分率比は90%以上100%未満:0%超10%以下であるステップ1と、
接着材料を多孔質ベース膜の片面又は両面にコーティングした後、室温で冷却し又は7~15℃の低温で補助冷却し、前記セパレーターを得るステップ2とを含む請求項15に記載の方法。 - 前記核剤は、二酸化ケイ素、酸化アルミニウム、水酸化アルミニウムのうちの1つ又は複数である請求項15又は16に記載の方法。
- 前記核剤の添加量は0.05%~1%である請求項15~17のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記コーティングは、ロールコーティング、スプレーコーティング、ディップコーティングのうちの1つ又は複数を使用する請求項15~18のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記コーティングの塗布重量は0.5~20g/m2である請求項15~19のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
