Description

The present invention relates to a width- and height-adjustable prefabricated shelf structure for pallets, and more specifically to a width- and height-adjustable prefabricated shelf structure for pallets that is assembled and installed on a pallet to stably store items and that, with items stored in this state, allows the pallets to be stacked one on top of the other for storage as needed.

Generally, square pallets are used to transport goods using a forklift truck. Such pallets have holes of a certain size that penetrate the sides, and the forklift of the forklift truck is inserted into the holes, and the pallet is loaded and unloaded along with the forklift, thereby transporting the goods attached to the pallet.

However, there are problems in that items attached to pallets tend to fall off the pallet due to vibration during transportation, and it is difficult to stack pallets one on top of the other when the items are attached to the pallet, requiring separate shelves for storing the items.

To solve the above problems, Patent Document 1 discloses a prefabricated shelf structure for pallets.

The assembled shelf structure for pallets disclosed in the above-mentioned Patent Document 1 comprises a pallet in which the upper and lower plates are integrally connected by a number of corner connecting rods and side connecting rods; a base member having a vertically erected mounting tube that is fitted and fixed to each of the corner connecting rods located at each corner of the pallet; a pair of first vertical rods that are vertically erected and have their lower portions inserted into the mounting tubes of the base member fitted to the front of one side and the rear of the other side of the pallet, a first horizontal rod attached between the upper ends of the pair of first vertical rods, and a first column member having a first coupling groove formed at the upper portion of the middle part of the first horizontal rod; and a pair of second vertical rods that are vertically erected and have their lower portions inserted into the mounting tubes of the base member fitted to the front of the other side and the rear of one side of the pallet, a second horizontal rod attached between the upper ends of the pair of second vertical rods, and a second coupling groove formed at the lower portion of the middle part of the second horizontal rod. The first horizontal rod is connected to the first connecting groove and the second connecting groove are connected to the second connecting groove, and the first horizontal rod and the second horizontal rod are installed crossing on the same horizontal plane. The base member is provided with a base plate that is positioned horizontally and is placed in contact with the lower part of each corner of the lower plate of the pallet. A vertically erected mounting pipe is welded to one side of the upper surface of the base plate, and a corner support plate is welded to the other side of the upper surface of the base plate in the form of a plate bent into an L shape when viewed from above, which is supported by abutting the outer surface of each corner of the pallet. A clamping piece is protruded from the other end of the corner support plate in the front-to-back horizontal direction, and the corner support plate and the clamping piece are fitted together in a state where they surround the corner connecting rod in a U-shape. The clamping piece is installed at a constant vertical distance from the base plate by the thickness of the lower plate, and the lower plate is interposed between the base plate and the clamping piece.

The prefabricated shelf structure for pallets in Patent Document 1 mentioned above is assembled and installed along the corners of the pallet, with the shelf structure assembled to fit the width of the pallet, and the height of the shelf structure is determined according to the length of the pillar members, so there is a problem in that there is a limit to the size of the items that can be attached to the shelf structure for the pallet.

Therefore, if the item is slightly larger or wider than the width and height of the shelf structure, it is necessary to reinstall the shelf structure on a pallet with a relatively larger standard. In this case, the size of the square connecting rods varies depending on the pallet standard, so there is a problem that the standard of the shelf structure must be changed to match it.

There is therefore a need for the development of an improved prefabricated shelf structure for pallets that can be assembled using the same shelf structure even if the pallet specifications are different, and that can be used by appropriately adjusting the width and height of the shelf structure as needed.

The fixture 10 is fixed to the mounting portion 1A, which has a square cross section and is located at the corner of the pallet 1, so that the first assembly rod 30, which will be described later, is installed vertically.

As shown in FIG. 5, such a fixture 10 is made of a rectangular plate material of a predetermined size, and includes a bottom plate 11 that is in close contact with the bottom surface of the pallet 1, a first side plate 12 of a predetermined size that is connected to the bottom plate 11 at one end and is installed vertically so that the other end is in close contact with one side of the mounting part 1A, a second side plate 13 of a predetermined size that is connected to the bottom plate 11 at one end and is installed vertically so that the other end is in close contact with the other side of the mounting part 1A, and a fixing plate 14 that is connected to the second side plate 13 at one end and has a predetermined length parallel to the first side plate 12.

At this time, multiple clamping grooves 14A are formed at a predetermined interval on the fixing plate 14, and the interval adjustment devices 20 described below are selectively attached to these clamping grooves 14A, thereby fixing the fixing device 10 to the mounting portion 1A of the pallet 1 having various specifications.

In addition, the lower plate 11 is formed with an extension plate 11A that extends and protrudes a predetermined length on one side, and such extension plate 11A is provided with a plurality of insertion tubes 15 into which the lower end of the first assembly rod 30 described later is inserted to a predetermined depth and fixed.

As shown in FIG. 6, the multiple insertion tubes 15 are arranged so that the imaginary diagonal line DL connecting the diagonal corners of the mounting part 1A, which is installed so that both sides are in close contact with the first and second side plates 12 and 13, and the center point CP of each insertion tube 15 are located on the same line, based on the corner where the first and second side plates 12 and 13 abut each other at 90 degrees. Therefore, even if the width of the shelf structure is adjusted by changing the position of the first assembly rod 30 inserted into the multiple insertion tubes 15, or even if the size W1-W2 of the square-shaped mounting part 1A is different, the mounting part 1A is located on the imaginary diagonal line DL based on the first and second side plates 12 and 13, so the state in which the first and second assembly rods 30, 40 and the horizontal connecting rod 50 are connected in an "X" shape, which will be described later, is maintained as it is. As a result, even if the width of the shelf structure is adjusted, the overall shape does not collapse and is stably maintained.

In addition, a pair of support plates 16 are installed on the extension plate 11A, one end of which is fixed to the extension plate 11A and the other end of which protrudes vertically along the outer surface of the multiple insertion tubes 15, supporting both sides of the insertion tubes 15. A plurality of reinforcing plates 17 are installed to diagonally connect the pair of support plates 16 and the extension plate 11A. These support plates 16 and reinforcing plates 17 reinforce the insertion tubes 15, and even if a large external force acts on the first assembly rod 30 in the lateral direction when the first assembly rod 30 is inserted, the insertion tubes 15 are unlikely to deform.

This configuration of the fixture 10 allows the spacing adjusters 20 of various sizes, described below, to be selectively attached to the fixing plate 14, allowing it to be installed on pallets of various specifications in the same way, and the width of the shelf structure can be appropriately changed by changing the position of the first assembly rod inserted into the insertion tube 15.

The spacing adjustment device 20 is attached to the fixing plate 14 of the fixing device 10, and is configured to be fixed by tightly inserting the fixing device 10 into the mounting portion 1A of the pallet 1.

As shown in FIG. 7(a), the distance adjuster 20 has a first locking plate 21 having a predetermined width and length so as to be in close contact with one side of the fixed plate 14 and a clamping portion 21A of a predetermined size that is inserted into the clamping groove 14A, a second locking plate 22 having a predetermined width and length that is installed at a predetermined distance from the first locking plate 21 by the clamping portion 21A and is in close contact with the other side of the fixed plate 14, an extension plate 23 having one end connected to the second locking plate 22 and formed with a predetermined length in a direction perpendicular to the length of the second locking plate 22, and a contact plate 24 of a predetermined size that is connected to the extension plate 23 and is in close contact with the mounting portion 1A.

At this time, the extension plate 23 of the spacing adjustment device 20 is made to different lengths depending on the specifications of the pallet 1, and multiple pieces are made as a set with different distances between the second locking plate 22 and the contact plate 24.

For such a spacing adjuster 20, a spacing adjuster 20 having an extension plate 23 of an appropriate length is selected from among a number of spacing adjusters 20 according to the specifications of the mounting part 1A to which the fixing device 10 is attached, and as shown in FIG. 7(b), the clamping part 21A is inserted into the clamping groove 14A of the fixing plate 14, so that the first and second locking plates 21, 22 of the spacing adjuster 20 are closely attached to both side surfaces of the fixing plate 14, and the contact plate 24 is installed so as to face the first side plate 12 of the fixing device 10.

As shown in (a) and (b) of FIG. 9, the outer surface of the mounting part 1A, which is provided at each corner of the pallet 1, is inserted into the inner surface of the U-shape formed by the first and second side plates 12, 13 of the fixing device 10 and the contact plate 24 of the spacing adjustment device 20. As a result, as shown in FIG. 10, even if the size of the outer surface of the mounting part 1A is smaller than the size of the inner surface of the U-shape formed by the first and second side plates 12, 13 and the fixing plate 14, the fixing device 10 is firmly fixed to the mounting part 1A.

Therefore, the user can easily install the fixture 10 on mounting parts 1A of various specifications simply by installing an appropriately sized spacing adjuster 20 on the fixing plate 14 of the fixture 10.

Meanwhile, in the above description, a plurality of distance adjusters 20 are produced by changing the length of the extension plate 23 of the distance adjuster 20. However, instead of forming an extension plate 23 on the distance adjuster 20, the distance adjuster 20 may be modified to have an elastic contact plate 24' bent at a predetermined angle so that one end of the elastic contact plate 24' is connected to one end of the second locking plate 22 and the other end is compressed and deformed by an elastic force, as shown in Figures 8(a) and (b).

At this time, the planar shape formed by the second locking plate 22 and the elastic contact plate 24' is generally "V" shaped or "U" shaped, so that when the fastener 10 is inserted into the mounting part 1A, the free end of the elastic contact plate 24' is naturally pressed by the outer surface of the mounting part 1A, making it easy to install the fastener 10 on mounting parts 1A of various sizes.

Therefore, instead of producing multiple separate distance adjusters 20 according to the size of the mounting part 1A, one distance adjuster 20 provided with an elastic contact plate 24' can be attached to and detached from the fixing plate 14 of the fixing device 10, making it easy to attach to mounting parts 1A of various sizes.

The first assembly rod 30 is configured so that one end (lower end) is inserted to a predetermined depth into the insertion tube 15 of the fixture 10 and is installed upright vertically.

As shown in FIG. 11, this first assembly rod 30 is made of a plate (pipe) having a predetermined length in the vertical direction, and a number of height adjustment holes 31 are formed at predetermined intervals along the vertical length on the outer surface of the upper part.

At this time, a fixing pin P is inserted through one of the multiple height adjustment holes 31, so that the height at which the second assembly rod 40, which will be described later, is inserted and fixed to the top of the first assembly rod 30 can be appropriately adjusted, as shown in FIG. 12.

The second assembly rod 40 has one end inserted and fixed to the upper end of the first assembly rod 30, and the other end inserted into the horizontal connecting rod 50 described below, forming the upper part of the shelf structure so that multiple shelf structures can be stacked one above the other.

As shown in FIG. 13, the second assembly rod 40 has a vertical section 41, one end of which is inserted into the upper end of the first assembly rod 30 and the other end of which is formed vertically to a predetermined length, and a horizontal section 42, one end of which is inserted into the upper end of the vertical section 41 and the other end of which is formed horizontally to a predetermined length, and is generally formed in an "U" or inverted "U" shape.

In addition, through holes 41A and 42A of a predetermined size are formed in the vertical section 41 and the horizontal section 42, and a fixing pin P, which is inserted into the height adjustment hole 31 and the distance adjustment hole 51A described later, penetrates the second assembly rod 40 from these through holes 41A and 42A, so that the position is firmly fixed.

The horizontal connecting rod 50 is configured to connect the horizontal portion 42 of the second assembly rod 40.

As shown in FIG. 14, such a horizontal connecting rod 50 has a predetermined horizontal length, a connecting rod body 51 made of a circular tube so that the horizontal portion 42 of the second assembly rod 40 can be inserted from both ends, and an intersection portion 52 located in the middle of the connecting rod body 51, in which a groove of a predetermined size is formed and which intersects and overlaps with other horizontal connecting rods 50 in an "X" shape at the same height line.

In addition, on both sides of the intersection 52, a number of distance adjustment holes 51A are formed at a predetermined interval through the connecting rod body 51. As with the height adjustment holes 31, fixing pins P are inserted into these distance adjustment holes 51A at predetermined positions, and as a result, the position where the horizontal portion 42 of the second assembly rod 40 is inserted and fixed is adjusted, as shown in FIG. 15, and the width of the shelf structure is adjusted.

The following describes an example of how the width and height adjustable prefabricated shelf structure for pallets according to the present invention can be used.

When assembling a shelf structure on a pallet 1, a spacing adjuster 20 with an extension plate 23 of an appropriate length formed on the fixing plate 14 of the fixture 10 is selected and assembled according to the size (standard) of the mounting part 1A of the pallet 1, and the fixture 10 with the attached spacing adjuster 20 is installed on each of the four mounting parts 1A located at the corners of the pallet 1.

Four first assembly rods 30 are then inserted into the insertion tubes 15 of the installed fixture 10, and the vertical portions 41 of the second assembly rods 40 are inserted to a predetermined depth into the upper ends of the first assembly rods 30 to fix them in place.

Then, position a pair of horizontal connecting rods 50 so that the horizontal sections 42 of the four second assembly rods 40 form an "X" shape, completing the installation.

On the other hand, when it is desired to adjust the height of a shelf structure assembled on the pallet 1, the fixing pin P inserted into the height adjustment hole 31 of the first assembly rod 30 is removed, and the second assembly rod 40 is appropriately lowered or raised according to the height to be adjusted. In this state, the fixing pin P is inserted so as to pass through the height adjustment hole 31 and through hole 41A in sequence, thereby adjusting the installation height of the second assembly rod 40.

When adjusting the width of the shelf structure, the position of the insertion tube 15 into which the first assembly rod 30 is inserted must first be adjusted. To do this, the first assembly rod 30 inserted into the insertion tube 15 on one side is sequentially separated, and then the first assembly rod 30 is installed into the insertion tube 15 at another position. At this time, the fixing pin P assembled to the horizontal connecting rod 50 may be removed first to allow for width adjustment.

Then, the width of the shelf structure can be adjusted by appropriately adjusting the distance at which the horizontal section 42 of the second assembly rod 40 is inserted into the horizontal connecting rod 50, and inserting the fixing pin P so that it passes through the distance adjustment hole 51A and the through hole 42A in sequence.

Meanwhile, in the above description, it has been described that a plurality of insertion tubes 15 are installed at a predetermined interval. However, as shown in FIG. 16, a horizontal long hole H1 having a horizontal length may be formed in the support plate 16, and one insertion tube 15 may be configured to be appropriately positioned along this horizontal long hole H1.

At this time, multiple locking grooves H2 are formed along the horizontal long hole H1, which makes it easier to adjust the position of the insertion tube 15, which is adjusted horizontally, to the same position.

The outer surface of the insertion tube 15 is formed with a locking pin 15A that is selectively inserted into the locking groove H2 to fix the position, and the outer surface of the locking pin 15A is formed with a screw thread (not shown). With the insertion tube 15 properly positioned by the horizontal long hole H1 and the locking groove H2, a nut is screwed onto the locking pin 15A, and the position of the insertion tube 15 is firmly fixed.

With this configuration, the user does not need to separate the first assembly rods 30 from the insertion tubes 15 and adjust their positions to adjust the width of the shelf structure. Instead, the user can easily change the installation position of the insertion tubes 15 using the horizontal long holes H1 and the locking grooves H2 while the first assembly rods 30 are inserted into the insertion tubes 15, making it even easier to adjust the width of the shelf structure.

In the above, it has been explained that the other end of the second assembly rod 40 is inserted into both ends of the horizontal connecting rod 50 that are installed crossing each other in an "X" shape, thereby allowing the width to be adjusted. However, it may be configured such that multiple horizontal sections 42 cross each other in an "X" shape, and the tip of one horizontal section 42 is inserted a predetermined length inside the tip of the other horizontal section 42 to be connected horizontally.

At this time, a connecting portion 42B having a predetermined length at the tip of the horizontal portion 42 on one side is formed, the portion being relatively larger or smaller than the diameter of the tip of the horizontal portion 42 on the other side. Thus, the tip of the horizontal portion 42 on the other side is inserted into the connecting portion 42B by a predetermined length, or the connecting portion 42B is inserted into the tip of the horizontal portion 42 on the other side by a predetermined length, thereby appropriately adjusting the width of the shelf structure.

In addition, through holes 41A, 42A are formed at a predetermined distance at the tip of the connecting part 42B and the other horizontal part 42, and the width adjusted by this is fixed by a fixing pin P, similar to the horizontal connecting rod 50.

As described above, the present invention can be installed on pallets of various specifications simply by attaching an appropriate size spacing adjuster to the fixture. If the width of the cargo is wider than the width of the pallet, the width can be appropriately adjusted by simply changing the position of the first assembly rod inserted into the insertion tube. In addition, the height of the second assembly rod inserted into the first assembly rod can be easily adjusted using the fixing pin.
