Description
The present invention relates to a blank sheet for a packaging box. More specifically, it relates to a blank sheet for a packaging box that is compatible with an automatic sealing device, and a packaging box made of the blank sheet is a packaging box that is difficult for the plastic cable tie to bite into even when it is tied with the cable tie.
When transporting goods, it is common to pack the goods in cardboard boxes for shock resistance, stain resistance, ease of loading and transport, etc. Furthermore, when multiple cardboard boxes are packed together for transport, it is common to tie the boxes together with plastic cable ties to prevent them from falling apart.
When binding cardboard boxes with cable ties, the cable ties can sometimes bite into the corners of the box, causing the edges to break. Lightweight cardboard boxes are particularly susceptible to cable ties getting stuck in them, and this tendency is even stronger in humid environments, where the rigidity of the box weakens. If cable ties get stuck in the cardboard box or the edges get torn, it can cause problems such as deformation of the products inside the box and making it easier for insects and water to get into the box.
A method has been proposed in which the corners of a cardboard box are provided with chamfered sections to prevent the cable ties from digging into the cardboard box. For example, Patent Document 1 discloses a cardboard box in which a corrugated section is formed on one side of a base fold line and a separating fold line on the other side as an edge-cut prevention section. When tension is applied to the band and the ridge is tightened, the cardboard at the ridge is folded twice, creating an inclined surface, improving the tightening strength and preventing the band from digging into the cardboard.
The cardboard box described in Patent Document 1 is what is known as a mandarin orange box (a cardboard packaging box based on JIS Z 1507 02 (grooved)). Grooved cardboard boxes have a certain amount of capacity, making them convenient for storing items of different sizes together in one box. These grooved cardboard boxes are generally used by first sealing the bottom, then sealing the top after placing products inside the cardboard. Furthermore, because grooved cardboard boxes are often assembled and sealed by hand, there is no requirement for strict line suitability for folding the flaps, etc.
On the other hand, in addition to the above-mentioned grooved type, there are also JIS Z 1507 03 (telescope type), 04 (assembly type), 05 (insertion type), 06 (Bliss type), and 07 (glue simple assembly type) for cardboard packaging boxes. In particular, when packaging multiple products of the same shape, the assembly type, which allows multiple products to be placed on a blank sheet and then assembled into a box, is often used. Here, assembled cardboard boxes are made using an automatic sealing device (hereinafter referred to as an "autocaser"). When making boxes using an autocaser, strict line suitability is required for the cardboard boxes. Therefore, if a chamfered portion as in Patent Document 1 is provided on an assembled cardboard box, there is a risk that the frequency of box-making defects will increase compared to when no chamfered portion is provided.
The present invention was made in consideration of the above problems. In other words, the objective is to provide a blank sheet for a packaging box that prevents cable ties from digging into the packaging box and is suitable for box-making in an automatic caser, and the packaging box made from the sheet. The inventors have investigated how to set the main and auxiliary creases so that force is not applied to the auxiliary creases when boxes are made in an automatic caser, but force is applied to the auxiliary creases when the bands are fastened. They have newly discovered that the above problems can be solved by setting the auxiliary creases in a certain way, which has led to the completion of the present invention.
To solve the above problems, the present invention provides a blank sheet for a packaging box in which a chamfer is provided at the twill portion formed by two wall panels connected in two directions via a main line to prevent the edges from being cut by a logistics band, the chamfer being formed by auxiliary lines that are provided in a mirror image on either side of the main line, the main line and the auxiliary lines being provided on the inner surface of the blank sheet, and the main line being provided on the outer surface of the blank sheet.
With this configuration, auxiliary lines are provided only on the inner surface of the blank sheet, making it less likely that defects will occur when the blank sheet is assembled into a box using an autocaser. In addition, main lines are provided on both the inner and outer surfaces of the blank sheet, making the box assembly easier.
Furthermore, in the above configuration, it is preferable that perforations are provided on the outer surface of the main blank sheet at positions corresponding to the auxiliary lines. It is also preferable that the auxiliary lines are further perforated. Furthermore, it is preferable that the main lines and the auxiliary lines are stepped, and that the main lines on the inner surface of the packaging box are processed deeper than the main lines on the outer surface of the packaging box.
With this configuration, the provision of perforations makes it easier to form chamfered sections when fastening with a fastening band. Also, by providing a difference in the depth of the stepped structure, it is possible to improve the ease of box making.

(Regarding main lines L1 to L8)
The main crease in this embodiment serves to prevent defective box-making by making it easier to fold the box using the main crease as a reference during the box-making process. In this embodiment, the main crease is formed by a step-crushing process in which the front liner and the back liner are crushed from both sides toward the core.
As shown in Figures 2 and 3, the blank sheet in this embodiment is configured so that the first main line L1, the second main line L2, the fifth main line L5, and the eighth main line L8 are vertical lines of the cardboard (so-called creases), and the pair of third main lines L3, the pair of fourth main lines L4, the pair of sixth main lines L6, and the pair of seventh main lines L7 are horizontal lines of the cardboard (so-called scores). In this embodiment, the lines are formed along each edge, but this is not limited to the direction, and they may be formed in any direction.

<Mechanism of forming chamfered
The chamfered
At this time, as shown in FIG. 6(a), the
In contrast, with conventional packaging boxes, as shown in Figure 7, even if the tension concentrated at the corners is transmitted to the surface of the packaging box, there is no point where the stress is concentrated. As a result, when the tension concentrated at the corners exceeds a limit, the band bites into the edge, causing it to break.
The present invention will be explained in more detail below using specific configurations as examples.
A packaging box blank sheet was created based on the conditions listed in Table 〇. Containerized instant foods were placed on the blank sheet and boxes were made using an autocaser. Three packaging boxes were made for each Example and Comparative Example. The resulting packaging boxes were tested under the following conditions.
(Box making test)
The blank sheets based on Table 1 were made into boxes using an autocaser, and the box-making defects were checked from the viewpoint of box-making suitability. The criteria for box-making suitability are as follows:
◯: Using the current equipment, boxes can be made in the same way as with normal blank sheets.
△: Losses will occur with the current settings, but boxes can be made with minor adjustments.
×: Major equipment modifications would be required, and it would be difficult to combine this with normal box-making using blank sheets.
(Fastening test)
For the fastening test, packaging boxes containing containerized instant foods were stacked three high as shown in Figure 4, and fastening bands were applied in the width and length directions. The fastening bands were tightened so that they did not bend and were in close contact with the surface. At this time, it was checked whether the fastening bands were digging into the corners of the packaging box or whether any edges were cut. The judgment criteria were as follows. The results are shown in Figure 〇.
⊚: The chamfered portion is formed into the intended shape, and the fastening band does not bite into the material or the edges do not break off.
Good: The chamfer is slightly insufficiently formed, but the fastening band does not bite into the material or break off the edges. The intended function is generally functioning, and biting is unlikely to occur.
×: Biting or edge breakage of the fastening band occurs.
As is clear from Table 2, no box-making defects occurred in Examples 1 to 4. Furthermore, in the fastening test, no biting or edge cuts occurred in any of the Examples. This suggests that providing auxiliary lines on the back liner (inside of the packaging box) helps improve box-making and prevents the fastening band from biting in. Comparing Examples 1 to 4, it can be seen that while the auxiliary lines alone are sufficient to prevent the fastening band from biting in, providing perforations allows the chamfered portion to be formed in the intended shape, which is more effective in preventing the fastening band from biting in. In particular, when perforations are provided on both the front and back sides, it becomes easier to form the chamfered portion.
As explained above, in the present invention, by providing auxiliary lines on the inner surface of the packaging box, it is possible to suppress the occurrence of defective box-making during box-making, while forming a chamfered portion when fastening with a fastening band. This has the effect of preventing the fastening band from digging in and cutting the edges.
