Description

The present invention relates to a care tool and a mobile device using the same, which enable users such as care recipients to become independent.

Conventionally, a handrail device has been developed in which the lower end of the vertical part of an L-shaped arm consisting of a vertical part and a horizontal part is joined to one side end of a base frame that is detachably attached to the side frame of a bed, forming a handrail body that is U-shaped with an opening on one side in side view, and a handle is fixed to the tip of the horizontal part of the L-shaped arm.Furthermore, the handrail body is provided with a frame body that can be appropriately changed between an upright state that blocks the central space in side view and a state in which it is held approximately horizontally on the upper side of the handrail body.

This handrail device is attached to the side of the bed and provides a handle that can be pulled by physically disabled people, elderly people, etc. (hereinafter also referred to as the care recipient) to grab when changing position from a lying down position, and can also be used as a fence to prevent futons and the like from falling or as a shelf for storing futons (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 9-290007

However, with the conventional handrail device described above, the care recipient can raise their upper body from a lying position in bed by pulling the handle, but they cannot stand up from a sitting position.

The present invention has been made to solve at least part of the above-mentioned problems, and aims to provide a care tool that enables a cared-for person to stand up from a sitting position without needing assistance from a caregiver.

The present invention can be realized as the following application examples. Note that the reference symbols and supplementary explanations in parentheses in this section indicate the correspondence with the embodiments described below in order to aid in understanding the present invention, and do not limit the present invention in any way.

<Application Example 1>
The nursing care tool (1) described in Application Example 1 includes a branch (10) extending upward from an installation location (7),
A base (20) for installing the branch (10) at the installation location (7);
a gripping portion (30) provided at an end of the support portion (10) substantially opposite the base portion (20) and extending obliquely upward toward the care recipient (5) with respect to the front of the care recipient (5) when the care recipient (5) uses the support, the gripping portion (30) being gripped by the care recipient (5) in order to pull up the body of the care recipient (5);
a forearm support portion (40) provided below the grip portion (30) such that the forearm of the care recipient (5) comes into contact with the grip portion (30) when the care recipient (5) grasps the grip portion (30) from an upper end portion of the end portion of the support portion (10) substantially opposite the base portion (20) toward the base portion (20), and diagonally upward toward the care recipient (5) with respect to the front of the care recipient (5) when the care recipient (5) uses the grip portion (30);
The gist of the system is that it is equipped with the following:

In such a care tool (1), a grip part (30) is provided on the end of the branch part (10) extending upward from the base part (20) to the installation location (7) substantially opposite the base part (20) , facing diagonally upward toward the care recipient (5) when the care recipient (5) uses the care tool (1) . Therefore, the care recipient (5) can pull up his/her body in the direction of the grip part (30) while gripping the grip part (30).

Generally, when a caregiver uses an assistive device to support or move the body, the pulling force is stronger than the pushing force of the arms. Therefore, by the care recipient (5) grasping the gripping part (30) and pulling up the body, the care recipient (5) can stand up from a sitting position without needing the assistance of the caregiver.

Furthermore, the nursing care tool (1) described in Application Example 1 has the following features:
The gripping portion (30) extends from an upper end of the end of the support portion (10) substantially opposite the base (20) toward the base (20), and extends diagonally upward toward the care recipient (5) relative to the front of the care recipient (5) when the care recipient (5) uses the gripping portion (30), and further includes a forearm support portion (40) provided below the gripping portion (30) so that the forearm portion of the care recipient (5) comes into contact with the gripping portion (30) when the care recipient (5) grips the gripping portion (30).

In such a care tool (1), when the care recipient (5) grasps the gripping part (30) and pulls himself up, the forearm of the care recipient (5) comes into contact with the forearm support part (40). In other words, when the care recipient (5) pulls himself up, the forearm part in contact with the forearm support part (40) becomes a support and the forearm part can be pulled up in a stable state, so that the care recipient (5) can stand up more easily.

<Application Example 2 >
The nursing care tool (1) described in Application Example 2 is
In the nursing care tool (1) described in Application Example 1 ,
The gist of the present invention is that the gripping portion (30) is provided with an auxiliary gripping portion (70) at the end opposite the forearm support portion (40) so that, when the care recipient (5) grips the gripping portion (30) to pull up his/her body, the care recipient (5) can support his/her body by gripping the gripping portion (30) with the hand other than the hand gripping the gripping portion (30).
In such a care tool (1), when the care recipient (5) grasps the grip part (30) and pulls up the body, the care recipient (5) can support the body with the auxiliary grip part (70) with the opposite hand, so that the care recipient can pull up the body and stand more easily and safely.

[First embodiment]
(Configuration of nursing care equipment)
The configuration of the care tool 1 will be described with reference to Fig. 1. Fig. 1 shows a schematic configuration of the care tool 1, with Fig. 1(A) being a front view, Fig. 1(B) being a side view, and Fig. 1(C) being a plan view.

As shown in FIG. 1 , the care tool 1 includes a support portion 10 , a base portion 20 , a grip portion 30 , a forearm support portion 40 , and an auxiliary grip portion 70 .
The branch portion 10 is an extension upward from the installation location 7, which is the floor surface of the room of the person being cared for 5, and is equipped with two supports 11a, 11b obtained by bending two straight metal pipes such as stainless steel.

The base 20 is a part for installing the branch 10 at the installation location 7, and comprises a bottom plate 21, two pipes 22a, 22b, a first reinforcing member 23 and three reinforcing members 24a, 24b, 24c.

The bottom plate 21 is a circular metal plate such as stainless steel. Pipes 22a and 22b are fixed by welding or the like to two locations in the approximate center of the bottom plate 21. As shown in FIG. 1C, the positions of the two pipes 22a and 22b are near a position that is point-symmetrical with respect to the center of the circular bottom plate 21 to the position where a vertical downward force is applied when the care recipient 5 grasps the gripping portion 30 and pulls up his or her body.

By locating the two pipes 22a, 22b in this position, the care equipment 1 is prevented from falling over when the care recipient 5 grasps the gripping portion 30 and pulls up his/her body.
In addition, pin holes are provided on the sides of the tip portions of the posts 11a, 11b and the pipes 22a, 22b, and the tip portions of the two posts 11a, 11b of the support 10 are inserted inside the two pipes 22a, 22b and pins (not shown) are inserted into the pin holes to fix the support 10 to the base 20.

The first reinforcing member 23 and the second reinforcing members 24 a , 24 b , and 24 c are members for reinforcing the bottom plate 21 .
The first reinforcing member 23 is positioned within a range of approximately one-third of the circumference of the circular bottom plate 21, in the circumferential direction on the side of the position where a vertical downward force is applied when the cared person 5 grasps the gripping portion 30 and pulls up their body, thereby increasing the strength of the bottom plate 21.

The second reinforcing members 24a, 24b, 24c are arranged radially through the center of the circular bottom plate 21 within a semicircle on the side where a vertical downward force is applied when the care recipient 5 grasps the gripping portion 30 and pulls up his/her body, thereby increasing the strength of the bottom plate 21.

The gripping portion 30 is a portion that is gripped by the care recipient 5 , and is provided at an end of the support portion 10 substantially opposite the base portion 20 .
The gripping portion 30 is formed by bending a single metal pipe which is also used as the support 11a of the branch 10, and a predetermined length of the single straight metal pipe is left straight from one end to form the support 11a of the branch 10.

Then, as shown in Figure 1(A), the metal pipe is bent diagonally (diagonally upward to the right in Figure 1(A)), and then bent in the opposite direction (diagonally upward to the left in Figure 1(A)) with a curved portion, while the remaining portion is left straight. This straight portion becomes the gripping portion 30.

The forearm support portion 40 is provided below the gripping portion 30 so that the outer portion of the forearm of the care recipient 5 comes into contact with the forearm support portion 40 when the care recipient 5 grips the gripping portion 30 .
The forearm support part 40 is formed by bending a single metal pipe which is also used as the support pillar 11b of the support part 10, and a predetermined length of the single straight metal pipe is left straight from one end of the single straight metal pipe to form the support pillar 11b of the support part 10.

The auxiliary gripping portion 70 is a portion for the care recipient 5 to grasp with the hand opposite to the hand grasping the gripping portion 30 to support the body when grasping the gripping portion 30 and pulling the body up.
The auxiliary gripping part 70 is formed by bending a single metal pipe that is also used for the support 11a, similar to the gripping part 30. As shown in Fig. 1(A) , the metal pipe is bent diagonally (diagonally upward to the right in Fig. 1(A) ), and then bent in the opposite direction (diagonally upward to the left in Fig. 1(A) ) with a curved part, with the remaining part remaining straight. This curved part becomes the auxiliary gripping part 70.

Then, as shown in Figure 1(A), the metal pipe is bent diagonally (diagonally upward to the left in Figure 1(A)). Then, as shown in Figure 1(C), the remaining part is curved outward, and then the remaining part is bent in the opposite direction (diagonally upward to the right in Figure 1(A)), leaving the remaining part straight.

Then, the end of the gripping portion 30 (the opposite end of the support 11a) and the end of the forearm support portion 40 (the opposite end of the support 11b) are inserted into the L-shaped tube 15 and fixed by welding, adhesive, or the like.

(How to use nursing care equipment)
Next, a method of using the nursing care tool 1 will be described with reference to Fig. 2. Fig. 2 is a diagram for explaining a method of using the nursing care tool 1, with Fig. 2(A) being a diagram of pulling up the body with the right arm and Fig. 2(B) being a diagram of pulling up the body with the left arm. The method of using the nursing care tool 1 with the right arm is shown in (A) to (D) below. When using the nursing care tool 1 with the left arm, Fig. 2(A) should be read as Fig. 2(B), and the right arm and right hand should be read as the left arm and left hand, respectively.

2(A), while the care recipient 5 is sitting on the bed 8 with the upper half of his/her body raised, he/she grasps with his/her right hand the straight portion of the gripping part 30 of the care equipment 1 placed near the bed 8. (B) The care recipient 5 places the part of his/her right forearm near the elbow against the inside of the curved part of the forearm support part 40.

(c) In this state, the care recipient 5, while still gripping the gripping portion 30, puts force into his/her right arm and pulls his/her body up.
(E) When the care recipient 5 pulls himself up, he or she grasps the auxiliary gripping portion 70 with the left hand to support and stabilize his or her body.

(Characteristics of nursing care equipment)
With the care tool 1 described above, the care recipient 5 can stand up from a sitting position without the need for assistance from the caregiver by utilizing a pulling force that is generally stronger than the pushing force applied by the caregiver's arms.

Furthermore, when the care recipient 5 grasps the gripping part 30 and pulls himself up, the outer part of the forearm of the care recipient 5 near the elbow comes into contact with the forearm support part 40. Therefore, when the care recipient 5 pulls himself up, the outer part of the forearm that comes into contact with the forearm support part 40 provides support, and the forearm can be pulled up without swaying outward, making it easier for the care recipient 5 to stand up.

Furthermore, the care equipment 1 is stably installed because the support part 10 is fixed to the approximate center of the disk-shaped bottom plate 21 placed at the installation location 7.
