Claims (5)
- 入射した光を所定の拡散範囲に拡散可能な光学素子であって、
少なくとも片面に凹凸を有する透明体を含み、
前記拡散範囲は、所定の平面における単一の閉曲線の内部として規定され、
前記凹凸は、周期性を持たない複数の稜部と谷部を有し、当該陵部や谷部の間に散乱の生じる非連続な部分がなく、
前記光を前記拡散範囲に拡散させる前記凹凸表面の傾き角θの頻度分布は、cos-nθ(1≦n≦7)に比例し、
前記凹凸は、スネルの法則によって入射光を前記拡散範囲外の領域に出射させるような勾配を有する領域が全領域の5%以下であることを特徴とする光学素子。 - 前記凹凸表面の傾き角θの頻度分布は、cos-7θに比例することを特徴とする請求項1記載の光学素子。
- 前記凹凸は、前記光の波長をλ、前記透明体の屈折率をn1、当該透明体の周囲の媒質の屈折率をn0とすると、λ/(n1-n0)の5倍以上の高さを有することを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の光学素子。
- 請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載の光学素子と、
前記光学素子に光を照射する光源と、
を具備することを特徴とする光学系装置。 - 対象物から反射してきた光を検知するカメラ部を具備することを特徴とする請求項4記載の光学系装置。
