本明細書に開示された実施形態は、減圧により創傷を治療するシステムおよび方法に関する。本明細書に使用する通り、-XmmHgなど、減圧または陰圧レベルは、760mmHg(または1atm、29.93inHg、101.325kPa、14.696psiなど)に相当し得る、平常の周囲気圧に対する圧力レベルを表す。したがって、陰圧値-XmmHgは、例えば、760mmHgをXmmHg下回る、すなわち言い換えると、絶対圧力(760-X)mmHgという絶対圧力を反映する。さらに、XmmHgよりも「低い」または「小さい」陰圧は、大気圧により近い圧力に相当する(例えば、-40mmHgは-60mmHgよりも低くなる)。-XmmHgよりも「高い」または「大きい」陰圧は、大気圧からより遠い圧力に相当する(例えば、-80mmHgは-60mmHgよりも高くなる)。一部の実施形態では、局所的な周囲気圧は基準点として使用され、そのような局所的な気圧は、必ずしも、例えば、760mmHgでなくてもよい。
図1は、創傷くぼみ110の内部に配置された創傷フィルタ130を備え、創傷くぼみ110が創傷カバー120によって封止された陰圧または減圧創傷治療(またはTNP)システム100の実施形態を示す。いくつかの実施形態では、創傷フィルタ130、創傷カバー120、または接触層(図示せず)などのその他任意の構成要素のうちの一つまたは複数が、創傷被覆材を構成する。システム100は、創傷に減圧を提供するように構成された陰圧創傷療法装置またはポンプアセンブリ150を含む。例えば、少なくとも一つの内腔を有する導管140は、ポンプアセンブリ150と創傷との間の流体流路を提供することができる。導管140は、ポンプアセンブリ150と流体接続されたポンプ端142と、創傷カバー120の下またはそれを通して挿入された創傷端144とを有することができる。導管140は、ポンプ端142で陰圧を創傷端144に伝達できる。
図3Aは、いくつかの実施形態によるポンプアセンブリ150の概略図を示す。ポンプアセンブリ150は、ポンプアセンブリ150の少なくともいくつかの構成要素を囲むまたは支持するハウジング200を含み得る。ポンプアセンブリ150は、一つまたは複数のスイッチまたはボタン202と、一つまたは複数のインジケータ204と、制御ボード206とを含み得る。一つまたは複数のボタン202および一つまたは複数のインジケータ204(ユーザインターフェースを集合的に構成する)は、一つまたは複数のコントローラおよびメモリを含むことができる制御ボード206と電気通信することができる。一つまたは複数のボタン202は、ポンプアセンブリ150の動作を制御するための任意の好適な目的に使用できる。例えば、一つまたは複数のボタン202は、ポンプシステム150を起動し、ポンプアセンブリ150を一時停止させ、一つまたは複数の表示204のうちの一つまたは複数といった、システムインジケータを消去するのに使用され得る。一つまたは複数のボタン202は、タッチパッド、タッチスクリーン、キーボードなどの任意のタイプのスイッチまたはボタンであってもよい。いくつかの実施形態では、一つまたは複数のボタン202はプレスボタンであり得る。様々な実装では、一つまたは複数のボタン202は、タッチスクリーンインターフェース上に含めることができる。
いくつかの実施形態では、ポンプアセンブリ150は、一つまたは複数のディスプレイ、インジケータ、ライト、ボタン、スイッチ、スピーカ、振動要素等といった、ユーザインターフェースを含む。ユーザインターフェースは、キャニスタの検出に基づいて調節することができる。例えば、キャニスタモードでは、ユーザインターフェースは、キャニスタが満杯になるとユーザに警告するインジケータを含み得る。キャニスタレスモードでは、このインジケータは、被覆材が満杯になるとユーザに警告するインジケータで置き換えることができる。いくつかの実施形態では、インジケータはアイコンである。

Claims (12)
- 陰圧創傷療法システムであって、
陰圧源を備えるポンプアセンブリと、
前記ポンプアセンブリ上に配置され、第一の流路によって前記陰圧源に流体接続されるように構成されたキャニスタコネクタポートと、
前記ポンプアセンブリ上に配置され、第二の流路によって前記陰圧源に流体接続されるように構成されたキャニスタレスコネクタポートと、
前記キャニスタコネクタポートに流体取付けされたキャニスタコネクタと、前記キャニスタレスコネクタポートに流体取付けされたキャニスタレスコネクタのうちの少なくとも一つを検出するよう構成されたポンプアセンブリ内の検出器と、を備える陰圧創傷療法システム。 - 前記ポンプアセンブリが、
前記検出器による前記検出に基づいて、前記ポンプアセンブリの一つまたは複数の動作パラメータを調整するよう構成されたコントローラをさらに備える、請求項1に記載のシステム。 - キャニスタが前記キャニスタコネクタポートに接続されると、前記キャニスタの一部分が前記キャニスタレスコネクタポートを塞ぎ、それによって前記キャニスタレスコネクタが前記キャニスタレスコネクタポートに取り付けられるのを防ぐ、請求項1または2のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- キャニスタコネクタが、前記キャニスタレスコネクタポートを中心とした前記キャニスタコネクタの回転によって、前記キャニスタコネクタポートに流体的に取り付けられるように構成される、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。

- 前記第一の流路および前記第二の流路がマニホールドを通過する、請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記キャニスタコネクタポートが、前記キャニスタレスコネクタポートの形状とは異なる形状を有し、それによって、キャニスタレスコネクタが前記キャニスタコネクタポートに不注意に取り付けられるのを防ぐ、請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 第一の位置と第二の位置との間を移動可能であるスライドカバーをさらに備え、前記スライドカバーが第一の位置にあるときは、前記キャニスタコネクタポートが、キャニスタコネクタに取り付けられることによる塞がれ、前記スライドカバーが第二の位置にあるときは、前記キャニスタコネクタポートが前記キャニスタコネクタに取り付けられることによって塞がれない、請求項1~7のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記スライドカバーが、キャニスタ上のプロングが前記ポンプアセンブリ上のラッチと係合するとき、前記第一の位置から前記第二の位置へと移動する、請求項8に記載のシステム。
- 前記キャニスタコネクタポートおよび前記キャニスタレスコネクタポートの両方ではなく一つを塞ぐようサイズ決めされたスライドカバーをさらに備え、前記スライドカバーが、第一の位置と第二の位置との間を移動可能であり、前記スライドカバーが前記第一の位置にあるときは前記スライドカバーが前記キャニスタコネクタポートを塞ぎ、前記スライドカバーが前記第二の位置にあるときは前記スライドカバーが前記キャニスタレスコネクタポートを塞ぐ、請求項1~8のうちのいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記スライドカバーの少なくとも一部分が、キャニスタコネクタが前記キャニスタコネクタポートに取り付けられるように、前記ポンプアセンブリから遠ざかるように旋回する、請求項10に記載のシステム。
- 前記スライドカバーによって起動されるスイッチをさらに備え、前記検出器が、前記スイッチが前記スライドカバーによって起動されるかどうかを検出するようにさらに構成される、請求項10または11に記載のシステム。
