- 外部からディミング値を入力され、前記ディミング値に対応するディミングバンドを決定して映像データ及びデータ駆動制御信号を生成及び出力するタイミング制御部、
前記データ駆動制御信号に基づいて前記映像データに対応するデータ信号を出力するデータ駆動部、及び
前記データ信号に対応する映像を表示する表示パネルを含み、
前記データ駆動制御信号は、
前記データ駆動部の消費電力を制御するための電力制御信号及びディミングバンド信号を含み、
前記データ駆動部は、
前記ディミングバンド信号に基づいて、前記電力制御信号により設定された消費電力に対応するバイアス電流を出力する電力制御回路と、
前記バイアス電流を用いることにより、前記映像データに対応する前記データ信号を出力する出力バッファとを含み、
前記電力制御回路は、前記ディミングバンドに応じて前記出力バッファに供給される前記バイアス電流を変化させることにより、前記データ駆動部の前記消費電力を変化させる、表示装置。 - 前記電力制御回路は、
