Description
図1は、本実施形態に係る電源システム1を搭載する電動車両V(以下、単に「車両」という)の構成を示す図である。
第1バッテリB1は、第2バッテリB2よりも出力重量密度が低くかつエネルギ重量密度が高い。また第1バッテリB1は第2バッテリB2よりも容量が大きい。すなわち、第1バッテリB1は、エネルギ重量密度の点で第1バッテリB1よりも優れる。なお、エネルギ重量密度とは、単位重量あたりの電力量[Wh/kg]であり、出力重量密度とは、単位重量あたりの電力[W/kg]である。したがって、エネルギ重量密度が優れている第1バッテリB1は、高容量を主目的とした容量型の蓄電器であり、出力重量密度が優れている第2バッテリB2は、高出力を主目的とした出力型の蓄電器である。このため電源システム1では、第1バッテリB1を主電源として用い、第2バッテリB2をこの第1バッテリB1を補う副電源として用いる。
始めにS31では、マネジメントECU71は、第1バッテリECU74から第1バッテリB1の第1出力リミットP1out_lim(正値)及び第1回生リミットP1in_lim(負値)を取得し、S32に移る。
(1)電源システム1において、マネジメントECU71は、出力型の第2バッテリB2の第2SOCが第2SOC下限値A未満である場合、容量型の第1バッテリB1から出力される電力を第2バッテリB2に供給する電力パス制御の実行を許可する。これにより電源システム1によれば、第2SOCが第2SOC下限値A未満である場合には、要求に応じてその出力性能を発揮できるように、第2バッテリB2の第2SOCを第2SOC下限値Aより大きな値へ向けて上昇させることができる。またマネジメントECU71は、第1バッテリB1の第1SOCが小さくなるほど第2SOC下限値Aを大きな値に設定することにより、電力パス制御を実行する機会を多くする。換言すれば、マネジメントECU71は、第1バッテリB1の第1SOCが小さくなり、第2バッテリB2からの出力が要求される機会が多くなるほど、電力パス制御を実行する機会を多くすることにより、第1バッテリB1の第1SOCが低下しても第2バッテリB2の出力性能を十分に発揮することができる。

Claims (5)
- 駆動輪に連結された回転電機を含む負荷回路と、
第1蓄電器と、
前記第1蓄電器よりも出力重量密度が高くかつエネルギ重量密度が低い第2蓄電器と、
前記負荷回路、前記第1蓄電器、及び前記第2蓄電器を接続する電力回路と、
前記第1蓄電器の残量の増減に応じて増減する第1残量パラメータを取得する第1残量パラメータ取得手段と、
前記第2蓄電器の残量の増減に応じて増減する第2残量パラメータを取得する第2残量パラメータ取得手段と、
前記電力回路を操作することにより、前記第1及び第2蓄電器と前記回転電機との間の電力の流れ並びに前記第1蓄電器から前記第2蓄電器への電力の流れを制御する制御装置と、を備える電源システムであって、
前記制御装置は、前記第2残量パラメータが第2下限値未満である場合、前記第1蓄電器から出力される電力を前記第2蓄電器に供給する電力パス制御の実行を許可するとともに、前記第1残量パラメータが小さくなるほど前記第2下限値を大きな値に設定することを特徴とする電源システム。 - 前記制御装置は、前記回転電機の回生時には、前記回転電機から前記電力回路に供給される回生電力を前記第1蓄電器及び前記第2蓄電器の両方又は何れかに供給する回生制御を実行するとともに、前記第2下限値が所定の閾値より大きい場合、前記第2蓄電器よりも前記第1蓄電器を優先して回生電力を供給することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電源システム。
- 前記制御装置は、前記第2残量パラメータが前記第2下限値より大きな値に設定された第2上限値より大きい場合、前記第1蓄電器よりも前記第2蓄電器を優先して放電させるとともに、前記第1残量パラメータが大きくなるほど前記第2上限値を小さな値に設定することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の電源システム。
- 駆動輪に連結された回転電機を含む負荷回路と、
第1蓄電器と、
前記第1蓄電器よりも出力重量密度が高くかつエネルギ重量密度が低い第2蓄電器と、
前記負荷回路、前記第1蓄電器、及び前記第2蓄電器を接続する電力回路と、
前記第1蓄電器の残量の増減に応じて増減する第1残量パラメータを取得する第1残量パラメータ取得手段と、
前記第2蓄電器の残量の増減に応じて増減する第2残量パラメータを取得する第2残量パラメータ取得手段と、
前記電力回路を操作することにより、前記第1及び第2蓄電器と前記回転電機との間の電力の流れ並びに前記第1蓄電器から前記第2蓄電器への電力の流れを制御する制御装置と、を備える電源システムであって、
前記制御装置は、前記第2残量パラメータが第2下限値と当該第2下限値よりも大きな値に設定された第2上限値との間の第2目標残量範囲外である場合には、前記第2残量パラメータが前記第2目標残量範囲内へ向けて変化するように前記第2蓄電器の充放電を制御するとともに、前記第1残量パラメータが小さくなるほど前記第2下限値を大きな値に設定することを特徴とする電源システム。 - 前記制御装置は、前記第1残量パラメータが大きくなるほど前記第2上限値を小さな値に設定することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の電源システム。
