Claims (22)
- マイクロ流体デバイス用の試料装填カートリッジ(1)であり、
ある容量の液体試料(3)を収容するように構成された試料リザーバ(20)を備えるカートリッジ本体(10)と、
前記試料リザーバ(20)と連通しており、前記液体試料(3)を受容するように構成された試料ポート(30)と、
前記試料リザーバ(20)に接続され、前記試料リザーバ(20)から延在する流出チャネル(40)と、
前記試料リザーバ(20)および前記試料ポート(30)に接続されたフィードバックチャネル(50)と
を備える試料装填カートリッジ(1)であって、
前記カートリッジ本体(10)は、前記フィードバックチャネル(50)内の液体試料(3)の存在の検出を可能にするために、前記フィードバックチャネル(50)の少なくとも一部と位置合わせされた検出部(60)を備え、
液体試料(3)が前記流出チャネル(40)に流入することなく、前記試料ポート(30)内に受容された液体試料(3)を前記フィードバックチャネル(50)に流入させるために、前記フィードバックチャネル(50)の流れ抵抗は前記流出チャネル(40)の流れ抵抗よりも小さい、試料装填カートリッジ(1)。 - 前記検出部(60)は、前記フィードバックチャネル(50)への視覚的アクセスを提供するために、前記フィードバックチャネル(50)の少なくとも一部と位置合わせされた窓(60)を備える、請求項1に記載の試料装填カートリッジ。
- 前記検出部(60)は、前記フィードバックチャネル(50)にわたって電気的特性を測定するように配置された少なくとも1つの電極(62、64)を備える、請求項1または請求項2に記載の試料装填カートリッジ。
- 前記検出部(60)は、前記フィードバックチャネル(50)内の液体試料(3)の存在を検出するように配置されたセンサ(66)を備える、請求項1~請求項3のいずれかに記載の試料装填カートリッジ。
- 前記試料ポート(30)は、前記試料リザーバ(20)の天井部(22)に接続され、
前記フィードバックチャネル(50)は、前記試料リザーバ(20)の前記天井部(22)および前記試料ポート(30)に接続される、請求項1~請求項4のいずれかに記載の試料装填カートリッジ。 - 前記流出チャネル(40)は、前記試料リザーバ(20)の底部(24)と前記天井部(22)との間に延びる軸(2)に関して前記天井部(22)より下方の前記試料リザーバ(20)の一端側(26)の位置で、前記一端側(26)に接続され、前記一端側(26)から延在する、請求項5に記載の試料装填カートリッジ。
- 液体試料(3)が前記流出チャネル(40)に流入することなく、前記試料リザーバ(20)が流体で満たされたときに、前記試料ポート(30)内に受容された液体試料(3)を前記フィードバックチャネル(50)に流入させるために、前記フィードバックチャネル(50)の流れ抵抗は前記流出チャネル(40)の流れ抵抗よりも小さい、請求項1~請求項6のいずれかに記載の試料装填カートリッジ。
- 前記フィードバックチャネル(50)の流れ抵抗と前記流出チャネル(40)の流れ抵抗との比率は、1/10未満である、請求項1~請求項7のいずれかに記載の試料装填カートリッジ。
- 前記フィードバックチャネル(50)の流れ抵抗と前記流出チャネル(40)の流れ抵抗との比率は、1/100未満である、請求項8に記載の試料装填カートリッジ。
- 前記フィードバックチャネル(50)の流れ抵抗と前記流出チャネル(40)の流れ抵抗との比率は、1/1000未満である、請求項9に記載の試料装填カートリッジ。
- 液体試料(3)が前記流出チャネル(40)に流入することなく、前記試料ポート(30)内に受容された液体試料(3)を前記フィードバックチャネル(50)に流入させるために、前記フィードバックチャネル(50)の断面積は前記流出チャネル(40)の断面積よりも大きい、請求項1~請求項10のいずれかに記載の試料装填カートリッジ。
- 前記流出チャネル(40)の断面積と前記フィードバックチャネル(50)の断面積との比率は、1/50以下である、請求項11に記載の試料装填カートリッジ。
- 前記流出チャネル(40)の断面積と前記フィードバックチャネル(50)の断面積との比率は、1/75以下である、請求項12に記載の試料装填カートリッジ。
- 前記流出チャネル(40)の断面積と前記フィードバックチャネル(50)の断面積との比率は、1/100以下である、請求項13に記載の試料装填カートリッジ。
- 前記試料ポート(30)と前記試料リザーバ(20)との間に介在される過充填リザーバ(70)をさらに備え、前記フィードバックチャネル(50)は、前記試料リザーバ(20)および前記過充填リザーバ(70)に接続される、請求項1~請求項14のいずれかに記載の試料装填カートリッジ。
- 前記試料ポート(30)は、漏斗状構造体(35)を備える、請求項1~請求項15のいずれかに記載の試料装填カートリッジ。
- 吐出チャネル(84)を介して前記試料リザーバ(20)と流体連通している吐出チャンバ(80)をさらに備え、前記吐出チャンバ(80)の開口部は、隔壁(82)によって閉鎖される、請求項1~請求項16のいずれかに記載の試料装填カートリッジ。
- 請求項1~請求項17のいずれかに記載の試料装填カートリッジ(1)と、
流れ流入チャネル(130)と流体接続しているそれぞれの第1の端部(122)および流れ流出チャネル(140)と流体接続しているそれぞれの第2の端部(124)を有する複数のセルチャネル(120)を備える基板(110)の形態のマイクロ流体デバイスと
を備えるデバイス(100)であって、
前記セルチャネル(120)は、前記セルチャネル(120)に流入する標的細胞が前記流れ流出チャネル(140)に到達するのを防止するために、前記それぞれの第2の端部(124)と連通しているそれぞれのチャネル制限部(125)を備え、
前記試料装填カートリッジ(1)の前記流出チャネル(40)は、前記流れ流入チャネル(130)と流体接続している、デバイス(100)。 - 前記試料装填カートリッジ(1)は、第1の試料装填カートリッジ(1)であり、請求項18に記載の前記デバイス(100)は、請求項1~請求項16のいずれかに記載の第2の試料装填カートリッジ(1)を備え、
前記第1の試料装填カートリッジ(1)の前記流出チャネル(40)は、前記流れ流入チャネル(130)の第1の流入ポート(131)と流体接続しており、
前記第2の試料装填カートリッジ(1)の前記流出チャネル(40)は、前記流れ流入チャネル(130)の第2の流入ポート(133)と流体接続している、請求項18に記載のデバイス。 - 試料装填カートリッジ(1)の装填方法であって、
請求項1~請求項17のいずれかに記載の試料装填カートリッジ(1)の試料ポート(30)と位置合わせされた試料搬送デバイス(4)を配置するステップ(S1)と、
液体試料(3)がカートリッジ本体(10)の検出部(60)においてフィードバックチャネル(50)内で検出可能になるまで、前記試料ポート(30)を通して液体試料(3)を前記試料搬送デバイス(4)から前記試料装填カートリッジ(1)の試料リザーバ(20)内に移送するステップ(S3)と
を含む、装填方法。 - 流体流回路(5)を前記試料ポート(30)に密封接続するステップ(S4)と、
前記流体流回路(5)から前記試料ポート(30)内へ流体流を供給して、前記試料リザーバ(20)内の液体試料(3)を前記試料装填カートリッジ(1)の流出チャネル(40)を通して外へ吐出するステップ(S5)と
をさらに含む、請求項20に記載の方法。 - 針(85)が隔壁(82)を貫通するように、前記針(85)を備える流体流回路(5)を請求項17に記載の前記試料装填カートリッジ(1)の前記試料ポート(30)および吐出チャンバ(80)の開口部に密封接続するステップ(S4)と、
前記試料リザーバ(20)内の液体試料(3)を前記試料装填カートリッジ(1)の前記流出チャネル(40)を通して外へ吐出するために、前記流体流回路(5)から前記吐出チャンバ(80)内へ流体流を供給するステップ(S5)と
をさらに含む、請求項20に記載の方法。
