Description
Claims (18)
- ソースDC電圧でソース直流(DC)電力を出力する電源と、
前記電源から物理的に分離されて、一つ以上の発光サブモジュールを備える発光モジュールであって、各発光サブモジュールは、前記ソースDC電圧より低い駆動DC電圧で駆動DC電力によって駆動可能な複数の発光ダイオード(LED)に電気的に連結されるDC-DC(DC/DC)コンバータをその中に備える発光モジュールと、
を備え、
各発光サブモジュールの前記DC/DCコンバータは、一つ以上のケーブルを経由して前記電源にも電気的に連結されて、前記発光サブモジュールの前記複数のLEDを駆動するために前記駆動DC電圧で前記ソースDC電力を前記駆動DC電力に変換するように構成され、
各発光サブモジュールの前記DC/DCコンバータは、滑らかな連続調光のために、出力電圧に上下に傾斜をつけることによってその出力電流を滑らかに調整するように構成されている、発光装置。 - 各発光サブモジュールの前記DC/DCコンバータは、閉ループ制御を用いてその出力電流を滑らかに調整するように構成されている、請求項1に記載の発光装置。
- 各発光サブモジュールは、無線通信ユニットを有し、
各発光サブモジュールにおいて、前記DC/DCコンバータは、前記発光サブモジュール内の前記複数のLEDの各々に前記駆動DC電力を個々に出力するように構成され、
各発光サブモジュールは、前記無線通信ユニットと信号通信し、また、前記発光サブモジュール内の前記DC/DCコンバータと信号通信して、前記発光サブモジュール内の前記複数のLEDの各々の照明を個々に制御するように構成される制御ユニットを更に備える請求項1又は2に記載の発光装置。 - 駆動DC電圧で駆動可能な複数のLEDと、
電源によって前記LEDに給電するために前記電源を各LEDに接続する電気径路と、
を備え、
前記駆動DC電圧は、前記電源のソースDC電圧より低く、
各電気径路は、前記ソースDC電圧で前記電源に接続する第1の部分と前記駆動DC電圧で前記LEDに接続する第2の部分とを備え、そして前記第1の部分の長さは、前記第2の部分より長く、
前記第1の部分及び前記第2の部分は、前記第2の部分の電流が前記第1の部分の電圧に上下に傾斜をつけることを介して滑らかに調整されるように構成されている、発光装置。 - 前記ソースDC電圧を前記駆動DC電圧に変換するためにそのメジャーな部分とマイナーな部分の間で前記電気径路の複数にそれぞれ接続する一つ以上のDC/DCコンバータを更に備える請求項4に記載の発光装置。
- 前記一つ以上のDC/DCコンバータのそれぞれは、出力電圧を調整してその出力電流を滑らかに調整するように構成されている、請求項5に記載の発光装置。
- 前記一つ以上のDC/DCコンバータのそれぞれは、閉ループ制御を用いてその出力電流を滑らかに調整するように構成されている、請求項5又は6に記載の発光装置。
- コンピューティングデバイスと無線で通信するゲートウェイと、
前記複数のLEDに連結して、前記ゲートウェイと無線通信するように構成される一つ以上の無線通信ユニットと、
を更に備え、
前記ゲートウェイは、前記発光装置を制御するためのコマンドを前記コンピューティングデバイスから無線で受信して、応答して、前記複数のLEDの照明を制御するために前記一つ以上の無線通信ユニットと無線で通信するように構成される請求項4から7のいずれか一項に記載の発光装置。 - 前記一つ以上の無線通信ユニットと信号通信するための一つ以上の制御ユニットをさらに備え、
前記一つ以上のDC/DCコンバータのそれぞれは、これに接続された前記複数のLEDの各々に前記駆動DC電圧を個々に出力するように構成され、
前記一つ以上の制御ユニットのそれぞれは、これに接続された前記複数のLEDの各々の照明を個々に制御するように構成される、請求項5に従属するときの請求項8に記載の発光装置。 - 駆動DC電圧で駆動可能な複数のLEDを備える発光モジュールに給電する方法であって、
複数の電気径路を確立するステップであって、前記複数の電気径路の各電気径路は、電源によって前記LEDに給電するために前記電源を前記複数のLEDの一つに接続すると共に、前記複数の電気径路の前記各電気径路は、前記駆動DC電圧より高いソースDC電圧でソースDC電力を前記電源から受け取るメジャーな部分と、前記駆動DC電圧で前記複数のLEDの一つに接続するマイナーな部分とを備えるステップと、
滑らかな連続調光のために、前記複数の電気径路の前記各電気径路の電圧に上下に傾斜をつけることを介して、前記複数の電気径路の前記各電気径路の前記マイナーな部分の電流を滑らかに調整するステップと、を含む、方法。 - 前記複数の電気径路を確立する前記ステップは、一つ以上のDC/DCコンバータを用いて前記複数の電気径路の前記メジャーな部分と前記マイナーな部分の間の位置で前記ソースDC電圧を前記駆動DC電圧に変換することを含む請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記一つ以上のDC/DCコンバータのそれぞれの出力電圧を調整してその出力電流を調整するステップをさらに含む請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記マイナーな部分の電流を滑らかに調整する前記ステップは、
閉ループ制御を用いて前記マイナーな部分の前記電流を滑らかに調整することを更に含む請求項10から12のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 - 前記複数のLEDの各々の照明を個々に制御するために前記複数のLEDを無線で命令するステップを更に含む請求項10から13のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 回路モジュールにおいて、
DC-DC(DC/DC)コンバータをその中に備える回路サブモジュールを有し、
前記DC-DCコンバータは、DC電源に電気的に連結すると共に、複数の発光構成要素に電気的に連結し、さらに、前記複数の発光構成要素を駆動するために前記DC電源のソースDC電圧を駆動DC電圧に変換し、
前記DC/DCコンバータは、滑らかな連続調光のために、出力電圧に上下に傾斜をつけることによってその出力電流を滑らかに調整するように構成されている、回路モジュール。 - 前記DC/DCコンバータは、閉ループ制御を用いてその出力電流を滑らかに調整するように構成されている、請求項15に記載の回路モジュール。
- ゲートウェイを介してコンピューティングデバイスと無線通信し、前記発光構成要素の発光を制御するためのコマンドを前記コンピューティングデバイスから無線で受信するための無線通信ユニットを更に備える請求項15又は16に記載の回路モジュール。
- 前記無線通信ユニットと信号通信し、また、前記発光構成要素の前記発光を制御するための制御ユニットを更に備える請求項17に記載の回路モジュール。
