Description
負極集電体31は、図1に示すように、開口部のない金属箔ラミネートフィルム20bと負極層32とに挟まれている集電部31aと、そこから外装体2の外方まで延伸している端子部31bとから構成される。負極集電体31の集電部31aは、平面において四角形の形状(例えば、外装体2の開口部4と同様の形状)を有し、端子部31bは、それよりも幅の狭い線形の形状を有している。
負極側の構成の性能を試験するため、図5に示すように、リチウム金属を対極としたハーフセル50を作製した。ハーフセル50は、第1の負極集電体51a、第1の負極層52a、第1のパルプ繊維シート層53a、第1の多孔質樹脂シート層54a、第2の多孔質樹脂シート層54b、第2のパルプ繊維シート層53b、第2の負極層52b、第2の負極集電体51bを順に積層し、第1及び第2の多孔質樹脂シート層54a、54bの間に有機電解液55を封入したものである。
充放電試験装置(北斗電工社製、品番:HJ1001SD8)を用いて、ハーフセル50の10mA/cm2でのリチウム溶解析出電位のサイクル特性(25℃)を評価した(溶解析出は1時間行った)。また、有機電解液として、上記に替えて、LiFSI-DX-2DMEを用いた場合と、LiFSI-EC-DMCを用いた場合について、同様の評価を行った。なお、DMCはジメチルカーボネートの略称である。その結果を表1に示す。なお、いずれの電解液もLiFSIの濃度は1M(mol/l)であり、DXとDMEの容積比は1対2、ECとDMCの容積比は1対1である。
図6に示すように、図5のハーフセル50からパルプ繊維シートを除いた比較例のハーフセル60を作製した。すなわち、第1の負極集電体61a、第1の負極層62a、第1の多孔質樹脂シート層64a、第2の多孔質樹脂シート層64b、第2の負極層62b、第2の負極集電体61bを順に積層し、第1及び第2の多孔質樹脂シート層64a、64bの間に有機電解液65を封入したものである。各素材は、実施例のハーフセル50と同様である。そして、実施例と同様の試験をして、その電気化学的特性の比較を行った。その結果を図9に示す。
図9に示すように、比較例のハーフセル60は、実線で示すように、8サイクル目で過電圧の大幅な増加が確認されたのに対し、実施例のハーフセル50は、破線で示すように、それ以降も安定したサイクルが可能であった。

Claims (4)
- 正極と、固体電解質と、多孔質樹脂シート層と、平らな面を有する繊維の繊維シート層と、負極とを順に備える金属空気電池であって、
前記負極の負極活物質が金属リチウムまたはリチウムを主成分とする合金もしくは化合物であり、
前記固体電解質と前記負極との間の空間に有機電解液を更に備え、前記有機電解液が、リチウムビス(フルオロスルホニル)イミドと、グライム系溶媒と、環状エーテル系溶媒とを含む金属空気電池。 - 前記平らな面を有する繊維はパルプ繊維であり、前記パルプ繊維の繊維幅が10~70μmである請求項1に記載の金属空気電池。
