Claims (13)
- 高圧燃料ポンプ用の入口制御バルブであって、前記高圧燃料ポンプは、入口バルブ供給通路とポンピングチャンバを有し、ポンピングプランジャがポンピングフェーズと充填フェーズとの間で往復運動し、前記入口制御バルブは、
前記入口バルブ供給通路から前記ポンピングチャンバへの流体の流入を制御するように配置され、入口バルブアーマチュアに結合された入口バルブステムと、該入口バルブステムに一体的に接続され且つ開位置から閉位置との間の軸に沿ったストロークを有した円盤状のバルブ部材とを含み、前記入口バルブアーマチュア及び前記バルブ部材が一緒に動く、入口バルブと、
前記バルブ部材を前記開位置に向けてバイアスする入口バルブバイアス部材と、
前記バルブ部材と当接するように構成され、前記バルブステムを受け取り、前記開位置と前記閉位置との間のバルブ部材の動きを案内する円筒形ボアを規定する、環状表面を有する入口バルブシートと、
前記入口バルブ供給通路と連絡している前記バルブ部材の第1の側及び前記ポンピングチャンバと連絡している前記バルブ部材の第2の側と、
前記入口バルブシートに面し、前記バルブ部材の前記入口バルブシートとは反対側に配置された入口バルブストップと、
前記入口バルブアーマチュアを引き付けるため、前記入口バルブアーマチュアと同軸に配置された入口バルブポールに磁場を生成する電磁コイルを含む入口バルブソレノイドと、
前記バルブ部材が前記開位置にあるとき、前記入口バルブアーマチュアと前記入口バルブポールとの間に前記軸に沿って画定される、前記ストロークよりも大きいギャップと、
前記入口バルブ供給通路と前記ポンピングチャンバとを接続する流体流路と、を備え、
前記バルブ部材が前記開位置にあるとき、前記バルブ部材は、前記入口バルブストップと接触し、前記流体流路を通る流体の流入を可能にし、前記入口バルブソレノイドに通電すると、前記バルブ部材が前記開位置から前記閉位置に移動し、前記入口バルブバイアス部材を圧縮し、前記バルブ部材は、前記入口バルブシートと当接し、前記流体流路を通る流体の流入を防止し、前記バルブ部材が前記閉位置にあるとき、前記入口バルブアーマチュアと前記入口バルブポールとの間にアーマチュアギャップを残す、入口制御バルブ。 - 前記入口バルブストップが前記ポンピングチャンバの一部内に配置されている、請求項1に記載の入口制御バルブ。

- ポンププランジャがポンピングフェーズと充填フェーズとの間で往復運動するポンピングチャンバを有する高圧燃料ポンプの入口バルブ供給通路を通る燃料流入のタイミングおよび量を制御する方法であって、
前記入口バルブ供給通路と前記ポンピングチャンバとを接続する流体流路を画定する工程と、
前記入口バルブ供給通路から前記ポンピングチャンバへの流体の流れを制御するように配置された入口バルブを提供する工程と、
前記入口バルブは、入口バルブアーマチュアに結合される入口バルブステムに一体的に接続された円盤状のバルブ部材を含み、前記入口バルブアーマチュア及び前記バルブ部材が一緒に動き、前記バルブ部材は、前記流体流路を通る流体の流れを可能にする開位置と、前記流体流路を通る流体の流れを防止する閉位置との間に軸に沿ったストロークを有し、
入口バルブバイアス部材で前記バルブ部材を前記開位置に向けてバイアスする工程と、
前記バルブ部材と当接するように構成され、前記バルブステムを受け取り、前記開位置と前記閉位置との間のバルブ部材の動きを案内する円筒形ボアを規定する、環状表面を有する入口バルブシートを提供する工程と、
前記入口バルブ供給通路と連絡している前記バルブ部材の第1の側と、前記ポンピングチャンバと連絡している前記バルブ部材の第2の側と、
前記入口バルブシートから前記バルブ部材の反対側に入口バルブストップを配置する工程と、
前記バルブ部材が前記開位置にあるとき、前記入口バルブアーマチュアと入口バルブポールとの間で前記軸に沿い、前記ストロークよりも大きいギャップを画定する工程と、
