UV硬化シールキャップ
PPG Aerospaceから入手可能なワンパート耐燃料性シーラント製剤PR2001 B2航空宇宙シーラントは、チオール末端ポリチオエーテルプレポリマー、ジビニルエーテルモノマー、レオロジカル改質剤、充填材、および光開始剤の組み合わせを含んでいた。製剤を、UV不透明チューブに-40℃で保存し、使用前に室温(25℃)まで解凍した。シーラント製剤を、ViscoTec Eco-Duoデュアル押し出し成形機と統合されたLulzBot Taz 3D印刷ガントリーおよび印刷ベッドからなる三次元印刷システムに導入した。UV源(395nmのピーク波長を有するUltraFire(登録商標)WF-501B UV LED懐中電灯)をViscoTec押し出し成形機に取り付け、印刷ベッドから5.5cmの押し出し成形機からの塗布点に向けて方向付けた。
チオール/エポキシ化学を使用して製作されたシールキャップ
PPG Aerospaceから入手可能なツーパートチオール/エポキシ航空宇宙シーラントであるPR-2001 B1/2に基づいて、第1の成分と第2の成分とを混ぜ合わせることによって、共反応性組成物を調製した。
MnO2によって触媒されたポリスルフィド化学を使用して製作されたシールキャップ
PPG Aerospaceから入手可能な、Mnジオキシドによって硬化させたツーパートのポリスルフィド航空宇宙シーラントであるPR-1429 B2に基づいて、第1の共反応性成分と第2の共反応性成分とを混ぜ合わせることによって、共反応性組成物を調製した。
UV硬化させたポリチオエーテルシールキャップ
化学線硬化性チオールエン系樹脂製剤を使用して、航空宇宙シールキャップを3D印刷した。
Claims (13)
- 締結具をシールする方法であって、部分的に硬化した第1の共反応性組成物を含む連続した層を、三次元印刷によって前記締結具上に直接堆積させることを含み、ここで、前記方法が、
(a)最も外側に部分的に硬化した堆積された第1の共反応性組成物上にシールキャップシェルを塗布することであって、
ここで、前記シールキャップシェルが、少なくとも部分的に硬化した第2の共反応性組成物を含み、そして
前記第2の共反応性組成物が、前記最も外側に部分的に硬化した堆積された第1の共反応性組成物と同一であるか、または異なる、塗布すること;または
(b)第2の共反応性組成物の連続した層を、三次元印刷によって前記部分的に硬化した第1の共反応性組成物を覆って堆積させて、シールキャップシェルを形成すること
を含み、
ここで、前記第1の共反応性組成物は、前記第2の共反応性組成物と反応性であり、そして
ここで、前記第1の共反応性組成物および前記第2の共反応性組成物の各々は、独立して、第1の反応性化合物および第2の反応性化合物を含み、ここで、前記第1の反応性化合物は、前記第2の反応性化合物と反応性である、
方法。 - 前記シールキャップシェルが、5mm~50mm、好ましくは10mm~40mmの底幅、5mm~50mm、好ましくは20mm~40mmの高さ、および0.5mm~25mm、好ましくは1mm~20mm、1.5mm~15mm、または2mm~10mmの平均壁厚を有するドームの形状をなす、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の共反応性組成物が、前記第1の共反応性組成物と同一である、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の共反応性組成物が、前記第1の共反応性組成物とは異なる、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の共反応性組成物および前記第2の共反応性組成物の各々が、硫黄含有プレポリマーを独立して含む、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の共反応性組成物および前記第2の共反応性組成物の各々が、40重量%~80重量%の前記硫黄含有プレポリマーを独立して含む、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記硫黄含有プレポリマーが、10重量%超の硫黄含有量を有し、重量%が、前記硫黄含有プレポリマーの総重量に基づく、請求項5または6に記載の方法。
- 前記硫黄含有プレポリマーが、ポリチオエーテル、ポリスルフィド、硫黄含有ポリホルマール、モノスルフィド、または上記のうちのいずれかの組み合わせを含む、請求項5~7のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の共反応性組成物および前記第2の共反応性組成物の各々が、化学線硬化性共反応性組成物を独立して含み、
前記方法が、前記第1の共反応性組成物および/または前記第2の共反応性組成物を堆積させる前、前記第1の共反応性組成物および/または前記第2の共反応性組成物を堆積させる間、および/または前記第1の共反応性組成物および/または前記第2の共反応性組成物を堆積させた後に、前記第1の共反応性組成物および/または前記第2の共反応性組成物を化学線に曝露することをさらに含む、請求項1~8のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 - 前記第1の共反応性組成物が、化学線への曝露で硬化可能である、請求項1~9のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の共反応性組成物が、化学線への曝露で硬化可能ではない、請求項1~9のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記締結具がビークル上の締結具である、請求項1~11のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記締結具が、航空宇宙ビークル上の締結具である、請求項1~11のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
