種々の様々な電気手術用ジェネレータが知られている。McGreevyの米国特許第4,429,694号では、電気手術用ジェネレータおよびアルゴン・プラズマ・システム、ならびに電気手術用ジェネレータから送り出される電気エネルギーの特性に主として応じて得ることができる、種々の様々な電気手術作用が開示された。電気手術作用は、単純な切開作用、切開と止血を組み合わせた作用、焼灼(fulguration)作用、および乾燥(desiccation)作用を含んでいた。焼灼および乾燥は、ひとまとめに凝固と呼ばれることがある。
Claims (9)
- 第一のガスの流れを制御するように構成された第一のガス制御モジュールと、
第二のガスの流れを制御するように構成された第二のガス制御モジュールと、
高周波電力モジュールと、
前記第一のガス制御モジュール、前記第二のガス制御モジュール及び前記高周波電力モジュールを制御するように構成されたコントローラと、
前記第一のガス制御モジュール、前記第二のガス制御モジュール及び前記コントローラを収容する単体のハウジングと、
前記ハウジングの外側に固定された第一のコネクタと、
患者の腹腔内圧力を制御するように構成されたサブシステムと、
を備えるガスで機能強化された電気手術用ジェネレータであって、
前記第一のガス制御モジュールは、流量センサと圧力センサと電磁弁と第一の枠部とを備え、前記第一の枠部は前記ハウジングに取り付けられ、
前記第二のガス制御モジュールは、流量センサと圧力センサと電磁弁と第二の枠部とを備え、前記第二の枠部は前記ハウジングに取り付けられ、
前記第一のコネクタは、前記第一のガス制御モジュールの出力ポートに接続された流体コネクタを備え、
前記患者の腹腔内圧力を制御するように構成されたサブシステムは、
前記第一のガス制御モジュールの出力ポートに接続された三方比例弁と、
内部圧力室、前記内部圧力室へのポート、排出管及び患者から腹腔内圧力を解放するように構成された外側ポートを備えた圧力制御弁と、
前記内部圧力室の圧力を検知するための第一の圧力センサーと、
前記外側ポートに接続した第二の圧力センサーと、
を備える、前記ガスで機能強化された電気手術用ジェネレータ。 - 前記ハウジングの外側に固定された第二のコネクタを備え、前記第二のコネクタは、
前記第二のガス制御モジュールの出力ポートに接続された流体コネクタと、
前記高周波電力モジュールの出力に接続された電気コネクタと、
を備える、請求項1に記載のガスで機能強化された電気手術用ジェネレータ。 - 前記第一のガスはCO2を含み、前記第二のガスはアルゴンを含む、請求項2に記載のガスで機能強化された電気手術用ジェネレータ。
- 前記第一のガスはCO2を含み、前記第二のガスはヘリウムを含む、請求項2に記載のガスで機能強化された電気手術用ジェネレータ。
- 第三のガスの流れを制御するように構成された、前記ハウジング内の第三のガス制御モジュール、及び、
前記ハウジングの外側に固定された第三のコネクタ
をさらに備え、
前記第三のコネクタは、
前記第三のガス制御モジュールの出力ポートに接続された流体コネクタと、
前記高周波電力モジュールの出力に接続された電気コネクタと
を備える、請求項2に記載のガスで機能強化された電気手術用ジェネレータ。 - 前記第一のガスはCO2を含み、前記第二のガスはアルゴンを含み、前記第三のガスはヘリウムを含む、請求項5に記載のガスで機能強化された電気手術用ジェネレータ。
- さらに、前記ハウジングに取り付けられたタッチ・スクリーン・ディスプレイを備える、請求項3に記載のガスで機能強化された電気手術用ジェネレータ。
- さらに、タッチ・スクリーン・ディスプレイ及びグラフィカル・ユーザー・インターフェースを備え、前記コントローラは前記グラフィカル・ユーザー・インターフェースと前記タッチ・スクリーン・ディスプレイとを制御するように構成された、請求項4に記載のガスで機能強化された電気手術用ジェネレータ。
- 前記高周波電力モジュールは、タッチスクリーンを介した設定入力に基づいて、高周波エネルギーをアルゴンプラズマ凝固アタッチメントに供給し、低周波電気手術用エネルギーを低温大気圧プラズマアタッチメントに供給するように構成された、
請求項1に記載のガスで機能強化された電気手術用ジェネレータ。
