Claims (7)
- 流れ制御弁による移送装置からの流体流の制御方法であって、
前記流れ制御弁は、
前記流れ制御弁を通る流体の流路として機能する弁空間を規定する弁ハウジングと、
流体流内腔を内部に含む弾性の弁体と、
前記流体流内腔内に位置する剛性の弁部材と、
前記流体流内腔内において前記弁部材と前記流体流内腔の入口との間に配置される環状の弁座を備え、
前記剛性の弁部材は、前記弁体が膨張していない状態において、前記流体流内腔の表面に接触してそこを通過する流れを遮断するように、前記流体流内腔よりも大きい大きさであり、
前記制御方法は、
前記流体流内腔を通過する流体流を許容するように、弾性の前記弁体が、前記流体流内腔の表面が前記弁部材から離れる位置に向かって屈曲するように、前記移送装置が前記流体流内腔の入口を通して前記流体流内腔内に十分な上流圧を適用することと、
弾性の前記弁体が前記弁部材に接触することを許容するように、前記移送装置が前記上流圧を低減することと、
前記流体流内腔の表面と前記弁部材との間に封止接触を与えるように補助するために、前記弁空間内に曝された弾性の前記弁体の外表面と下流の流体とが加圧下で接触することと、
前記流体流内腔を通る流体流に対してさらなる封止を与えるために、前記弁空間内に曝された前記弁部材の表面と下流の流体とが加圧下で接触することを含む、流体流の制御方法。 - 前記弁空間は入口と出口を有し、
前記流体流内腔は前記弁空間内において前記弁空間の入口と前記弁空間の出口との間に配置されて全体的に円筒状の形状であり、
前記弁部材は全体的に球状の形状であり、
前記弁体と前記弁部材とはそれぞれ前記弁体に力が加えられていない状態において前記弁部材と前記弁体との間に環状の接触を与えるように前記弁部材の断面積が前記流体流内腔よりも大きい大きさにされ、前記環状の接触は前記弁空間の入口からの流体圧がなければ前記流体流内腔を通る流体流を実質的に遮断し、
弾性のある前記弁体の弾性は、前記弁部材と流体流内腔表面とが接触して流れを遮断する通常の閉鎖位置と、前記弁体が離間位置に向かって屈曲してそれらの間の流体流を許容する前記弁空間の入口からの流体圧に応じた開放位置との間で屈曲を許容する、請求項1に記載の流体流の制御方法。 - 前記弁体は、基礎部と、前記基礎部から延びる中空のスリーブとを含み、前記スリーブの内部は前記流体流内腔を規定し、前記スリーブの一端と連通する前記基礎部内の流体流内腔を含み、前記スリーブの他端は開放されて前記弁空間の出口と連通しており、前記弁部材は前記スリーブ内に配置されている、請求項2に記載の流体流の制御方法。
- 前記制御弁は前記弁空間の入口に隣接する流体吸収部材をさらに備える、請求項2または請求項3に記載の流体流の制御方法。
- 前記環状の弁座は、放射状の肩部を備える、請求項1に記載の流体流の制御方法。
- 前記弁体はシリコーンによって形成されている、請求項2から請求項4までのいずれか1項に記載の流体流の制御方法。
- 前記スリーブは、40以上のショアA硬度を有するゴム状材料によって形成されている、請求項3に記載の流体流の制御方法。
