Description
本出願は、2019年12月4日出願の韓国特許出願第10-2019-0160105号に基づく優先権を主張し、該当出願の明細書及び図面に開示された内容は、すべて本出願に組み込まれる。
カーブ201を参照すると、プレチャージングによってキャパシタ電圧VCが次第に上昇するにつれ、プレチャージ電流は次第に減少し得る。
Claims (13)
- ハイサイド電力線及びローサイド電力線によって平滑キャパシタに並列で接続するバッテリーのためのバッテリー管理システムであって、
前記ローサイド電力線の第1ノードと第2ノードとの間に設けられる放電制御スイッチと、
サーミスタを含む温度センシング回路であって、前記サーミスタの第1端が前記第1ノードに接続する、温度センシング回路と、
前記サーミスタの第2端と前記第2ノードとの間に接続されるプレチャージ電力線に設けられるプレチャージスイッチと、
前記放電制御スイッチ、前記温度センシング回路及び前記プレチャージスイッチに結合する制御部と、を含み、
前記制御部は、キーオン信号を受信すると、前記平滑キャパシタのプレチャージングのために、前記放電制御スイッチをターンオフし、前記プレチャージスイッチをターンオンするように構成され、
前記制御部は、
前記キーオン信号に応じて、前記プレチャージ電力線を介してプレチャージ電流が流れないときの前記サーミスタの両端にかかった電圧である初期サーミスタ電圧値を検出し、
前記初期サーミスタ電圧値が所定の設定電圧値以上である場合、前記平滑キャパシタのプレチャージングのために、前記放電制御スイッチをターンオフし、前記プレチャージスイッチをターンオンするように構成される、バッテリー管理システム。 - 前記制御部は、前記平滑キャパシタの両端にかかった電圧が臨界電圧以上に上昇すると、前記プレチャージスイッチをターンオフするように構成される、請求項1に記載のバッテリー管理システム。
- 前記サーミスタが、負温度係数サーミスタである、請求項1または2に記載のバッテリー管理システム。
- 前記ローサイド電力線に設けられるシャント抵抗器をさらに含み、
前記制御部は、前記平滑キャパシタがプレチャージされる間、所定時間ごとに、前記シャント抵抗器の両端にかかった電圧を示すシャント電圧値に基づいて、前記プレチャージ電力線を介して流れるプレチャージ電流を示すプレチャージ電流値を検出するように構成される、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリー管理システム。 - 前記制御部は、
前記平滑キャパシタがプレチャージされる間、前記所定時間ごとに、前記サーミスタの両端にかかった電圧を示すサーミスタ電圧値及び前記プレチャージ電流値に基づいて前記サーミスタの抵抗を決定し、
前記サーミスタの抵抗に基づいて前記サーミスタの温度を決定するように構成される、請求項4に記載のバッテリー管理システム。 - 前記制御部は、前記平滑キャパシタがプレチャージされる間、前記所定時間ごとに、前記プレチャージ電流による前記サーミスタのジュール熱に対応する補償温度を前記サーミスタの温度から減算して前記バッテリーの温度を決定するように構成される、請求項5に記載のバッテリー管理システム。
- 前記補償温度は、前記プレチャージ電流によって誘発された前記サーミスタの温度上昇分を示す、請求項6に記載のバッテリー管理システム。
- 前記制御部は、下記の数式を用いて前記補償温度を決定するように構成され、
- 前記プレチャージ電力線に接続するダイオードをさらに含み、
前記ダイオードによって、前記サーミスタの第2端から前記第2ノードへの電流が遮断される、請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリー管理システム。 - 前記ハイサイド電力線または前記ローサイド電力線に設けられる充電制御スイッチをさらに含む、請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリー管理システム。
- 請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載の前記バッテリー管理システムを含むバッテリーパック。
- 請求項11に記載の前記バッテリーパックを含む電気車両。
- 請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載の前記バッテリー管理システムによって実行されるバッテリー管理方法。
