Description
Claims (17)
- 半径方向圧縮機構であって、
a)ベースと、
b)中心軸の周りに円形の配列で配置された複数の圧縮ダイであって、それぞれが、
i)内向きの作業面、および
ii)外面、
を備え、
前記作業面によって画定される中央円筒形空洞、および前記複数の圧縮ダイの外面に沿った外周を形成する、複数の圧縮ダイと、
c)前記複数の圧縮ダイの外面のそれぞれに接触する、前記複数の圧縮ダイの外周の周りに2回以上の回転により巻き付けられたストリングと、
を備える、半径方向圧縮機構であり、
前記複数の圧縮ダイは、前記ベースに結合され、前記中央円筒形空洞が開いた空洞直径を有する開位置から、前記中央円筒形空洞が閉じた空洞直径を有する閉位置まで半径方向内側に一斉に移動するように構成され、
前記ストリングを引っ張ると、前記複数の圧縮ダイが一斉に開位置から閉位置に移動され、
前記開いた空洞直径は、前記閉じた空洞直径よりも大きく、
前記半径方向圧縮機構は、デバイスを圧縮するために開位置から閉位置まで前記中央円筒形空洞の作業面に沿って半径方向内向きの圧縮力を発生させるように構成され、
前記中央円筒形空洞は、前記開位置から前記閉位置まで円筒形状を維持し、
前記中央円筒形空洞は、前記開位置および前記閉位置からの隣接するダイ作業面の間に500μm以下のギャップを有する実質的に連続した表面を有する、半径方向圧縮機構。 - 前記ストリングが前記複数の圧縮ダイの外周に4回以上巻き付けられる、請求項1に記載の半径方向圧縮機構。
- 前記半径方向圧縮機構がストリング張力機構をさらに備え、前記ストリングは前記ストリング張力機構に結合され、前記ストリング張力機構を作動させると、前記ストリングが引っ張られ、前記複数の圧縮ダイを半径方向内側に動かして、前記中央円筒形空洞を閉じる、請求項1に記載の半径方向圧縮機構。
- 前記ストリングが第1の端部および第2の端部を有し、前記ストリングの第1の端部および第2の端部の両方が前記ストリング張力機構に結合される、請求項3に記載の半径方向圧縮機構。
- 前記半径方向圧縮機構がプーリーをさらに備え、前記ストリングは前記ストリング張力機構から前記プーリーの周りに、次いで前記複数の圧縮ダイの周りに延びる、請求項4に記載の半径方向圧縮機構。
- 前記ストリング張力機構が、
a)ウィンチシャフト、
b)ウィンチクランク、
を備えるウィンチ機構であり、
前記ストリングは前記ウィンチ機構に結合され、前記ウィンチ機構を作動させると、前記ストリングが引っ張られ、前記複数の圧縮ダイを半径方向内側に動かして、前記中央円筒形空洞を閉じる、請求項3に記載の半径方向圧縮機構。 - 前記ストリングが第1の端部および第2の端部を有し、前記ストリングの第1の端部および第2の端部の両方が前記ウィンチ機構に結合される、請求項6に記載の半径方向圧縮機構。
- 前記半径方向圧縮機構がプーリーをさらに備え、前記ストリングは、前記ストリング張力機構から前記プーリーの周りに、次いで前記複数の圧縮ダイの周りに延びる、請求項7に記載の半径方向圧縮機構。
- 前記ストリング張力機構が、
a)レバー旋回軸、
b)前記レバー旋回軸を中心に回転するレバーアーム、
を備えるレバー機構であり、
前記ストリングは前記レバーアームに結合され、前記レバーアームを作動させると、前記ストリングが引っ張られ、前記複数の圧縮ダイを半径方向内側に動かして、前記中央円筒形空洞を閉じる、請求項3に記載の半径方向圧縮機構。 - 前記ストリングが第1の端部および第2の端部を有し、前記ストリングの第1の端部および第2の端部の両方が前記レバー機構に結合される、請求項9に記載の半径方向圧縮機構。
- 前記半径方向圧縮機構がプーリーをさらに含み、前記ストリングは、前記ストリング張力機構から前記プーリーの周りに、次いで前記複数の圧縮ダイの周りに延びる、請求項10に記載の半径方向圧縮機構。
- 前記ストリングが第1の端部および第2の端部を有し、前記ストリングは前記複数の圧縮ダイの外周に巻き付けられ、前記第1の端部および前記第2の端部の少なくとも一方が前記ベースに結合される、請求項1に記載の半径方向圧縮機構。
- 強制的に前記中央円筒形空洞を開くために前記複数の圧縮ダイに結合されたばねをさらに備える、請求項1に記載の半径方向圧縮機構。
- 強制的に前記複数の圧縮ダイを離し、前記中央円筒形空洞を開くために前記複数の圧縮ダイのそれぞれの間に結合されたばねをさらに備える、請求項1に記載の半径方向圧縮機構。
- 前記複数の圧縮ダイのそれぞれが、前記ばねの端部を受け入れて保持するためのシートを備える、請求項14に記載の半径方向圧縮機構。
- 少なくとも3個の圧縮ダイを備える、請求項1に記載の半径方向圧縮機構。
- 前記ベースがダイガイドスロットを有し、前記複数の圧縮ダイのそれぞれが前記ダイガイドスロットに結合され、前記ダイガイドスロットに沿って開位置から閉位置に移動する、請求項1に記載の半径方向圧縮機構。
