Claims (4)
- 排気弁が設けられた電池を複数備える電池モジュールであって、
前記排気弁から噴出されるガスを冷却しつつ、モジュールの外部に導くための冷却経路を備え、
前記冷却経路は、経路出口における前記ガスの温度T(℃)が500℃以下となるように形成され、
前記冷却経路には、前記ガスに含まれる噴出物のサイズを制限する、開口サイズA(mm)が3.5mm以下のフィルタ、および前記開口サイズA(mm)が3.5mm以下相当であるバッフル板の少なくとも一方が設置されており、
前記冷却経路は、下記式1の条件に基づいて形成されている、電池モジュール。
式1:T≦350-{Ln(A/3.5)}/0.008 - 前記フィルタは、メッシュ、パンチングメタル、または多孔質部材により構成されている、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記フィルタは、複数の開口を有し、
前記各開口の内接円の直径は、前記開口サイズAに相当し、0.05mm~3.5mmである、請求項1または2に記載の電池モジュール。 - 排気弁が設けられた電池を複数備える電池モジュールであって、
前記排気弁から噴出されるガスを冷却しつつ、モジュールの外部に導くための冷却経路を備え、
前記冷却経路は、経路出口における前記ガスの温度Tが500℃以下、当該出口から排出される前記ガス中の噴出物の直径Bが3.5mm以下となるように、下記式2の条件に基づいて形成されている、電池モジュール。
