Claims (14)
- 内燃機関用のスパークプラグ(1)を製造する方法であって、
スパークプラグの少なくとも2つの構成要素間の溶接継手にレーザビーム(8)を向け、
レーザビーム(8)により前記溶接継手の表面を溶融して第1の溶融材料を形成し、
レーザビーム(8)により粉末(5)を溶融して第2の溶融材料を形成し、
前記第1および第2の溶融材料を接続して固化させて、少なくとも前記溶接継手の表面に沿って被処理領域を形成して前記溶接継手を保護し、
前記被処理領域は耐高温腐食性および/または耐酸化性を向上させ、粉末(5)は、耐高温腐食性および/または耐酸化性の金属粉末を含み、前記金属粉末は、耐食性ニッケル粉末またはセラミック材料を含有する金属粉末を含む、ことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記スパークプラグの電極の部材が、少なくとも前記2つの構成要素として用いられる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記電極の部材が中心電極担体(3)および貴金属体(2、2’)を含む、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記貴金属体(2、2’)が段部(4)を形成するように前記中心電極担体(3)と接続される、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記段部(4)が前記中心電極担体(3)の端部領域に加工成形され、および/または、前記貴金属体(2、2’)が段部(4)を残して前記中心電極担体(3)上に配置される、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 凹部(14)を粉体(5)の第2の溶融材料で少なくとも部分的に充填して充填部を形成する、請求項1乃至5の何れか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記第1および第2の溶融材料を接続して固化したのち、前記充填部を部分的に除去する、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 1つ以上のカバー層(6)が少なくとも前記被処理領域(7)の上および/または下に配置される、請求項1乃至7の何れか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記被処理領域(19)は前記被処理領域(19)のすぐ隣の未処理領域(7)を除外する、請求項1乃至8の何れか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記レーザビーム(8)のデフォーカスされたビーム部分が前記溶接継手に向けられる、請求項1乃至9の何れか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記粉末(5)は、前記溶接継手から距離をおいて前記レーザビーム(8)に導入される、請求項1乃至10の何れか1項に記載の方法。
- 内燃機関用のスパークプラグ(1)であって、
溶接継手を介して接合されている前記スパークプラグ(1)の少なくとも2つの構成要素であり、前記溶接継手が第1の材料を含む2つの構成要素と、
少なくとも前記溶接継手の被処理領域(19)であって、前記被処理領域が、前記溶接継手の前記第1の材料と前記第1の材料と異なる第2の材料とを含む合金を有し、前記被処理領域(19)が前記溶接継手を保護することを特徴とする、スパークプラグ。 - 前記溶接継手を介して接合された前記少なくとも2つの構成要素は前記スパークプラグ(1)の電極の部材であり、前記電極の部材が電極担体および前記溶接継手を介して前記電極担体と接続された貴金属体(2)を含む、請求項12に記載のスパークプラグ。
- 前記被処理領域(19)は前記被処理領域(19)のすぐ隣の未処理領域(7)を除外し、前記未処理領域は前記電極のスパーク領域(9)の隣に配置される、請求項13に記載のスパークプラグ。
