Description
ここで、好ましくは、該試料採取部の少なくとも一部が該抽出液中で切断可能となるように取り付けられているものとし、該試料採取部の少なくとも一部を切断して、切断された該試料採取部の少なくとも一部を該抽出液中に残置するものとする。
本発明の最も好ましい実施形態について以下に実施例1を記載する。なお、本発明は、実施例1の記載に限定されるものではない。
滲出液採取具10は、図1に示すように、患部に接触させ試料を採取する試料採取部11と採取の操作を容易にするために採取者が端部をつかむことが出来る持ち手部12からなる。
流行性角結膜炎および咽頭結膜熱の原因ウイルスであるアデノウイルスの検出について、結膜に炎症のある93例の患者に対して、本法、および従来法である対照法1について、それぞれ測定を行い比較評価した。
結膜炎の症状を持つ患者1例について、対照法2として涙腺から溢れてくる新鮮な涙液を直接濾紙にて採取した検体と、本法として患者の眼瞼結膜40に滲出液採取部10の試料採取部11を5秒間当てて滲出液を採取した検体を用いて、それぞれアデノウイルス検出の比較を行った。

Claims (12)
- 眼科領域における感染症の免疫学的診断を行う検出キットであって、
内部に抽出液を収納し、且つ可撓性材料からなる抽出容器本体と、
先端部に柔軟性を持つ親水性素材よりなる試料採取部を有し、且つ、基端部に持ち手部を有する滲出液採取具と、
検査対象を検出するイムノクロマト試薬を有するテストプレートとを備え、
前記試料採取部は、眼瞼結膜に擦過することなく当てられるものであり、前記試料採取部は、前記眼瞼結膜からの滲出液を採取し、
前記滲出液は、涙液とは異なるものであり、炎症の際、血管壁から血管外に滲出する、血清または血漿成分であり、前記感染症の原因となる成分を含み得るものであり、
前記試料採取部は、前記抽出液で湿らせることにより切断可能に形成されており、
前記抽出容器本体に外部から力が加えられることにより前記試料採取部の先端部が固定され、前記持ち手部が引き抜かれることにより、前記試料採取部の少なくとも一部が前記抽出液中において切断され、切断された前記試料採取部の少なくとも一部が前記抽出液中に残置されることを特徴とする検出キット。 - 前記抽出液が、緩衝液からなり、界面活性剤を含む請求項1に記載の検出キット。
- 前記感染症が、細菌、ウイルス、クラミジアのいずれかに起因する請求項1又は2に記載の検出キット。
- 前記感染症が、細菌性の黄色ブドウ球菌、シュードモナス、連鎖球菌、肺炎球菌、ヘモフィルス、淋菌のいずれかに起因する請求項3記載の検出キット。
- 前記感染症が、アデノウイルス、エンテロウイルス、ヘルペスウイルス、コクサッキーウイルス、サイトメガロウイルスのいずれかに起因する請求項3記載の検出キット。
- 前記試料採取部が、セルロース、ポリエステル及び綿からなる群のいずれかより選定される請求項1記載の検出キット。
- 前記試料採取部が、濾紙、不織布及びスポンジからなる群のいずれかより選定される請求項1記載の検出キット。
- 前記試料採取部が、平たい形状をなす請求項1から7のいずれかに記載の検出キット。
- 前記試料採取部の先端が、丸い形状をなす請求項1から7のいずれかに記載の検出キット。
