Description
<車両構成>
図1は、本実施の形態に係る車両の全体構成を概略的に示す図である。図1を参照して、車両1は、この例では電気自動車(EV)であり、充電ケーブル2により充電器(充電設備)3に電気的に接続することが可能に構成されている。ただし、車両1は、充電器3から充電ケーブル2を介して供給される電力による充電(外部充電)が可能な車両であればよく、たとえばプラグインハイブリッド車(PHV)であってもよい。
図2は、ユーザインターフェース80およびドライバモニタ90の構成の一例を示す図である。図2を参照して、インパネ81は、メータ類が設置された計器盤であり、ECU100による制御に従って車両1の様々な状態を表示する。より具体的には、インパネ81は、スピードメータ、タコメータ、燃料計、水温計、トリップメータおよび警告灯を表示するのに加えて、バッテリ40のSOCを表示する。インパネ81に代えてマルチインフォメーションディスプレイ(MID:Multi-Information Display)を用いてもよい。
一般に、高SOC状態で時間が経過すると、バッテリの劣化が進み、バッテリの寿命が短くなる。したがって、車両1においてもバッテリ40の劣化を抑制するためにはバッテリ40のSOCが過度に高くならないようにすることが望ましい。その一方で、バッテリ40のSOCが低いほど車両1のEV距離が短くなる。ドライバの心理としては、長いEV距離を確保するため、SOCができるだけ高くなるまでバッテリ40の外部充電を行い、安心感を得たいと考える。
図3は、バッテリ40のSOCと目視頻度Fとの間の関係を説明するための概念図である。図3において、横軸はバッテリ40のSOCを表し、縦軸は目視頻度Fを表す。

図4は、SOC表示の目視回数Nの測定例を示す図である。図4ならびに後述する図5および図6において、横軸はバッテリ40のSOCを10%毎に区分して表す。図4の縦軸は目視回数N(単位:回)を表す。

図7は、本実施の形態における充電制御の全体像を示すフローチャートである。このフローチャートは、たとえば予め定められた演算周期毎に繰り返し実行される。各ステップは、ECU100によるソフトウェア処理により実現されるが、ECU100に作製されたハードウェア(電気回路)により実現されてもよい。以下、ステップをSと略す。
図9は、本実施の形態における充電制御の効果を説明するための図である。図9において、横軸はバッテリ40のSOCを表す。縦軸はバッテリ40の劣化速度(単位時間当たりの劣化量)、言い換えるとバッテリ40の劣化のしやすさを表す。
Claims (7)
- 外部から供給される電力による外部充電が可能に構成された車両であって、
蓄電池と、
前記蓄電池のSOCに関する電力情報をドライバに提供するインターフェースと、
前記ドライバを監視し、前記インターフェースに対する前記ドライバの確認動作を検出する監視装置と、
前記外部充電中に前記蓄電池のSOCが所定値に達した場合に前記外部充電を完了する制御装置とを備え、
前記制御装置は、前記監視装置による前記確認動作の検出頻度に応じて算出される前記蓄電池のSOCに基づいて、前記所定値を決定する、車両。 - 前記制御装置は、前記検出頻度が基準値を上回るときの前記蓄電池のSOCに基づいて、前記所定値を決定する、請求項1に記載の車両。
- 前記制御装置は、検出頻度に応じて算出される前記蓄電池のSOCと、前記車両における2回の前記外部充電の間の電力消費量に相当するSOCとに基づいて、前記所定値を決定する、請求項1または2に記載の車両。
- 前記インターフェースは、前記電力情報を表示するディスプレイであり、
前記監視装置は、
前記ディスプレイを目視する前記ドライバの顔を撮影するカメラと、
前記カメラにより撮影された画像を解析し、前記ディスプレイに対する前記ドライバの視線の動きを追跡する画像処理部とを含む、請求項1~3のいずれか1項に記載の車両。 - 前記監視装置は、ナビゲーション装置を含み、
前記ナビゲーション装置は、前記外部充電を実行するための充電設備を前記ドライバが検索する動作を前記確認動作として検出する、請求項1~3のいずれか1項に記載の車両。 - 前記インターフェースは、
前記蓄電池の現在のSOCに関する情報と、
前記所定値に関する情報と、
前記蓄電池を充電可能な上限SOCに関する情報とを前記ドライバに提供する、請求項1~5のいずれか1項に記載の車両。 - 外部から供給される電力による外部充電が可能に構成された車両の制御方法であって、
前記車両は、
蓄電池と、
前記蓄電池のSOCに関する電力情報をドライバに提供するインターフェースと、
前記ドライバを監視する監視装置とを備え、
前記制御方法は、
前記外部充電中に前記蓄電池のSOCが所定値に達した場合に前記外部充電を完了するステップと、
前記インターフェースに対する前記ドライバの確認動作を前記監視装置により検出するステップと、
前記確認動作の検出頻度に応じて算出される前記蓄電池のSOCに基づいて、前記所定値を決定するステップとを含む、車両の制御方法。
