Claims (7)
- 光を案内するための光ガイド部と、
光源から出力された光が入力され、前記光ガイド部上で案内できるように予め定められたピッチで繰り返し形成された線状格子を備えて、前記入力された光を回折させる第1回折光学素子と、
前記光ガイド部の一面上に前記第1回折光学素子が配置される領域と区別される領域に配置されかつ、第1方向に沿って予め定められたピッチで繰り返し並ぶ仮想の第1線状パターンと、前記第1方向とは異なる第2方向に沿って予め定められたピッチで繰り返し並ぶ仮想の第2線状パターンとが相互交差する領域内に提供される2次元パターンを備える第2回折光学素子とを含み、
前記2次元パターンの水平断面は楕円形状であり、前記楕円形状の長軸が、前記第1回折光学素子が備える線状格子の延長方向に垂直な方向と形成する角度は20゜未満であり、
前記2次元パターンは、前記光ガイド部の一面から突出形成され、
前記2次元パターンの突出高さは、前記光源から出力された光の波長対比0.084~0.113倍である、回折導光板。 - 前記楕円形状の短軸は、前記線状格子、前記第1線状パターンおよび前記第2線状パターンのピッチ対比0.50~0.921倍である、請求項1に記載の回折導光板。
- 前記楕円形状の長軸は、前記線状格子、前記第1線状パターンおよび前記第2線状パターンのピッチ対比1.150~1.324倍である、請求項1または2に記載の回折導光板。
- 前記線状格子、前記第1線状パターンおよび第2線状パターンは、それぞれのピッチに反比例する大きさ並びに前記線状格子、前記第1線状パターンおよび前記第2線状パターンが延びた方向に垂直な方向で定義される格子ベクトルを有し、
前記第1回折光学素子の線状格子、前記第2回折光学素子の前記第1線状パターンおよび前記第2線状パターンそれぞれの格子ベクトルの和は、0の大きさを有する、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の回折導光板。 - 前記第1回折光学素子の線状格子、前記第2回折光学素子の前記第1線状パターンおよび前記第2線状パターンそれぞれの格子ベクトルは、互いに同一の大きさを有する、請求項4に記載の回折導光板。
- 前記第1回折光学素子の線状格子、前記第2回折光学素子の前記第1線状パターンおよび前記第2線状パターンそれぞれの格子ベクトルは、互いに60°の角度を形成する、請求項4または5に記載の回折導光板。
- 映像を形成する映像光を出力する光源と、
請求項1~6のいずれか1項に記載の回折導光板とを含むディスプレイ装置。
