Claims (10)
- 光を案内するための光ガイド部と、
光源から出力された光が入力され、前記光ガイド部上で案内できるように前記入力された光を回折させる入力回折光学素子と、
前記光ガイド部の予め定めた領域内に配置されている互いに異なる線状格子パターンの2つの出力回折光学素子とを含み、
前記2つの出力回折光学素子それぞれは、前記入力回折光学素子から光を受光し、受光された光が回折により他方の出力回折光学素子に向けられるように構成され、
前記2つの出力回折光学素子それぞれは、他方の出力回折光学素子から光を受光し、受光された光が回折により前記光ガイド部から出力されるように構成され、
前記予め定めた領域内で少なくとも所定の幅をもって前記入力回折光学素子と隣接した側から反対側に長く区画された中央領域では、互いに異なる線状格子パターンの2つの出力回折光学素子が少なくとも一次元的に交差配列され、
前記予め定めた領域内で、互いに異なる線状格子パターンの2つの出力回折光学素子は、前記中央領域においてのみ交差配列されている、回折導光板。 - 前記2つの出力回折光学素子は、前記光ガイド部上で互いに重なっている領域を形成せずに当接している、請求項1に記載の回折導光板。
- 前記2つの出力回折光学素子は、前記中央領域で二次元的に交差配列される、請求項1または2に記載の回折導光板。
- 前記2つの出力回折光学素子が交差配列される領域における2つの出力回折光学素子のそれぞれの幅は、4mm以下である、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の回折導光板。
- 前記2つの出力回折光学素子が交差配列される領域における2つの出力回折光学素子のそれぞれの長さは、4mm以下である、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の回折導光板。
- 前記入力回折光学素子と前記2つの出力回折光学素子それぞれは、予め定められたピッチで繰り返し形成された線状格子を含み、前記線状格子のピッチに反比例する大きさおよび前記線状格子が延びる方向と垂直な方向で定義される格子ベクトルを有し、
前記入力回折光学素子と前記2つの出力回折光学素子それぞれの格子ベクトルの和は、0の大きさを有する、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の回折導光板。 - 前記入力回折光学素子と前記2つの出力回折光学素子それぞれの格子ベクトルは、互いに同一の大きさを有する、請求項6に記載の回折導光板。
- 前記入力回折光学素子と前記2つの出力回折光学素子それぞれの格子ベクトルは、互いに60゜の角度を形成する、請求項6または7に記載の回折導光板。
- 前記2つの出力回折光学素子は、前記光ガイド部上の同一平面上に提供される、請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載の回折導光板。
- 映像を形成する映像光を出力する光源と、
請求項1~9のいずれか1項に記載の回折導光板とを含むディスプレイ装置。
