Description
下記表1のように、様々な製造条件を用いてホイールディスクを製作し、それぞれのホイールディスクに対する旋回疲労実験(Cornering fatigue test)を実施した。このとき、旋回疲労実験は1.54kN・mの条件を用いた。それぞれのホイールディスクは、同一の形状及びサイズを有するように製作されており、ホイールディスクに形成されたボルト孔もすべて同一個数及びサイズを有するように製作された。

引張強度[MPa]=3.3762×(ビッカース硬度)-35.004
同一の素材を冷間加工して4つのホイールディスクを作製し、それぞれ900℃で6分間加熱した後、50℃/sの冷却速度で冷却した。それぞれのホイールディスクは、同一のサイズ及び形状を有するように製作され、それぞれのホイールディスクに形成されたボルト孔も同一個数及びサイズを有するように製作された。この後、ボルト孔の周辺領域については550℃で20分間加熱した後、徐冷して軟質化し、この時、それぞれのスチールホイールに対する加熱領域の幅が異なるように適用した。

Claims (9)
- ボルト締付のためのボルト孔を備えるホイールディスクであって、
前記ホイールディスクは、
ボルト孔の周縁方向に沿って既に設定された幅を有するように延長して備えられた第1領域と、
前記第1領域以外の第2領域と
に区分され、
前記第1領域は、前記第2領域よりも低い平均引張強度を有するように備えられる、ホイールディスク。 - 前記第1領域の平均引張強度は、前記第2領域の平均引張強度の1/3~2/3の水準である、請求項1に記載のホイールディスク。
- 前記第2領域の平均引張強度は980MPa以上である、請求項1又は2に記載のホイールディスク。
- 前記第1領域の幅は1~10mmである、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載のホイールディスク。
- 前記ホイールディスクは、鋼板ホイールディスクである、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載のホイールディスク。
- 前記第1領域及び第2領域は、非接合方式の境界部により区分される、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載のホイールディスク。
- ホイールディスク用の素材を用意する段階と、
前記素材を成形加工してホイールディスクを提供する段階と、
前記ホイールディスクに形成されたボルト孔の周辺領域を軟質化する段階と
を含む、ホイールディスクの製造方法。 - 前記ボルト孔の周辺領域を軟質化する段階は、
前記ボルト孔の周辺領域を加熱して徐冷し、前記ボルト孔の周辺領域を軟質化するか、又は
前記ホイールディスクを加熱及び急冷するが、前記ボルト孔の周辺領域については、徐冷条件を適用して前記ボルト孔の周辺領域を軟質化する、請求項7に記載のホイールディスクの製造方法。 - ホイールディスク用の素材を用意する段階と、
前記素材を加熱した後、金型を用いてホイールディスクを形成する段階と、
前記金型内で前記ホイールディスクを冷却する段階と
を含み、
前記素材の加熱時、前記ホイールディスクのボルト孔の周辺領域と、前記ホイールディスクのボルト孔の周辺領域以外の領域を区分して前記素材を加熱するが、前記ホイールディスクのボルト孔の周辺領域は、Ac1以下の温度で加熱し、前記ホイールディスクのボルト孔の周辺領域以外の領域は、Ac3以上の温度で加熱するか、又は
前記ホイールディスクの冷却時、前記ホイールディスクのボルト孔の周辺領域と、前記ホイールディスクのボルト孔の周辺領域以外の領域を区分して前記ホイールディスクを冷却するが、前記ホイールディスクのボルト孔の周辺領域は、徐冷条件を適用して冷却し、前記ホイールディスクのボルト孔の周辺領域以外の領域は、急冷条件を適用して冷却する、ホイールディスクの製造方法。
