Description
TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to a stretchable conductive wiring material used as a wiring component for flexible devices such as wearable devices and flexible substrates, and a stretchable conductive wiring module having the same.
Electronic devices used to have electronic components such as IC chips mounted on a hard silicon substrate, glass substrate, or the like, with wiring attached thereto. Recently, there has been a demand for light weight, thin thickness, and miniaturization, as well as flexibility and stretchability.
Electronic devices such as wearable devices, medical devices, and physical performance measuring devices have come to be used as flexible electronic devices having flexible wiring materials, wiring substrates, and the like that can follow the movement of a living body. For example, there are flexible electronic devices in which a conductive rubber component composition is applied or a conductive rubber layer is attached on a stretchable film.
As a conductive film for flexible electronic devices,
In general, the resistance of a stretchable and conductive elastic body such as a conductive rubber wire or a conductive rubber layer is R = ρ × L / S (where R is the resistance value (Ω) and ρ is the resistivity (Ωm) , L is the length (m), and S is the cross-sectional area (m 2 ).From this, when the conductive rubber wire or the conductive rubber layer extends, it elongates and becomes thinner and the cross-sectional area becomes becomes smaller, resulting in an increase in resistance.
In addition, during elongation, cracks such as microcracks and microcracks are generated inside the conductive rubber wire or conductive rubber layer or at the interface between them and the elastic film, increasing the resistance value.
As a substrate for a stretchable electronic device,
In addition, in Non-Patent
In the method of Non-Patent
Therefore, there has been a demand for a general-purpose stretchable conductive wiring material that is flexible, has excellent stretchability, is compact, and has high insulation against the outside while maintaining high conductivity inside.
The present invention has been made in order to solve the above-mentioned problems, and is flexible, capable of being lightweight, thin, and compact, and has high conductivity and high insulation against the outside. In this stretchable conductive wiring material, the conductive base is opened between the plurality of punched-out peripheral portions, respectively, from both sides of the long side of the conductive base toward the center or from one side to the other side. It is preferable that there is a blanking gap, and that the insulating elastic body is penetrated by a gap slit, a gap notch, and/or a gap hole that is smaller than the blanking gap in accordance with the blanking gap.

It is an insulating flexible support made of.

It is more preferable that the extensible conductive wiring material is rounded at each corner of the draft gap.
In this stretchable conductive wiring material, the conductive substrate may have electrical connectors at the ends of the conductive layer.
An elastic conductive wiring module made to achieve the above object comprises a plurality of the elastic conductive wiring materials.
In the elastic conductive wiring module, it is preferable that a plurality of the elastic conductive wiring materials are overlapped and integrated.
In this expandable conductive wiring module, each of the plurality of expandable conductive wiring materials may have a terminal exposed at the end of each conductive layer, or may be connected to an external terminal at the end of each conductive layer. .
In this expandable conductive wiring module, for example, a plurality of expandable conductive wiring materials serve as a pair or a plurality of pairs of electrodes.
The stretchable conductive wiring material of the present invention comprises a flexible conductive base material having a conductive layer while having a punched hole or a punched slit that can be opened and three-dimensionally deformed, and an insulating elastic body having a through slit or a through hole. By sealing and covering with, it is possible to expand and contract. As a result, there is almost no stress applied especially in the low elongation region during expansion and contraction, and it has unique mechanical properties, making it easy to use in practical applications.
In this stretchable conductive wiring material, the conductive base material has a plurality of holes and slits, so that the conductive layer can follow the deformation due to stretching due to tension and restoration due to subsequent loosening, and it has excellent durability as a conductive wiring. ing. Moreover, in this stretchable conductive wiring material, the conductive base material is bent by stretching of the stretchable conductive wiring material, and the path length of the conductive layer in the conductive base material does not change. Since cracks such as microcracks do not occur, the resistance remains low and hardly changes. Therefore, it is extremely excellent as a wiring material.
In addition, the stretchable conductive wiring material is sealed with an insulating elastic material such as silicone resin or silicone rubber in order to maintain insulation, but even in the sealed state, it can maintain its original stretchability repeatedly. When the terminal is connected to an external device or an object to be measured, it is sealed and covered without exposing it, except for the terminal, to prevent the reception of noise during detection in a solution or biosignal detection. can be done.
This stretchable conductive wiring material exhibits excellent structural recovery properties when a flexible conductive substrate has a conductive layer on a flexible support and is sealed with an insulating elastic body. It can be restored to its original shape before stretching. Therefore, this elastic conductive wiring material suppresses permanent deformation due to expansion and contraction due to the elastic properties and shape properties of the insulating elastic body, and has high durability.
In contrast to conventional conductive materials that develop stretchability through the expansion and contraction of the material, this stretchable conductive wiring material impedes conductivity and flexibility due to three-dimensional structural changes caused by holes and slits that are different from conventional conductive materials. Sealing can be performed with an insulating elastic body having an irregular shape. As a result, the mechanical properties during deformation are not limited to the insulating elastic body, but also the properties derived from the three-dimensional structure, and the elongation rate can be improved.
Using this stretchable conductive wiring material, it is flexible, can be made lighter, thinner, and smaller, has high conductivity and high insulation against the outside, and has sufficient stretchability and can be repeatedly used. An elastic conductive wiring module having excellent durability can be obtained without causing deterioration in elasticity due to expansion and contraction.
The stretchable conductive wiring module generates almost no stress because the stretchable conductive wiring material deforms due to the three-dimensional structure, especially in the low elongation region, so it is suitable for flexible devices such as wearable devices and flexible substrates. can be implemented for Since the stretchable conductive wiring module has almost no stress in the low stretch region, the wearer does not feel uncomfortable when using it as a wearable device.
Modes for carrying out the present invention will be described in detail below, but the scope of the present invention is not limited to these modes.
One preferred form of the stretchable
In the
The
The insulating
Each of the insulating
Also, both of the insulating
In this stretchable
The stretchable
This stretchable
The stretchable
As a result, the stretchable
After that, when the stretchable
When the stretchable

As shown in FIGS. 3(a-1) and 3(a-2), the stretchable

As with the punched

As shown in Table 1 and FIG. 11 below, the shape of the punched
As is clear from Table 1, the rectangular

(Examples 4a-4d)
As shown in Table 3 below and FIG. 13, the shape of the through
As is clear from Table 3, the shorter the length L a of the through

(Example 5 and Comparative Example 3)
As shown in Table 4 and FIG. 14 below, the elastic conductive wiring material 1 (Example 5) was produced in the same manner as in Example 1, and the same procedure as in Example 1 was performed except that the insulating elastic body was not attached. A test piece was obtained from the prepared stretchable conductive wiring material (Comparative Example 3).
(Performance test 6: shape recovery performance during expansion and contraction)
The test piece of stretchable
As is clear from Table 4 and FIG. 14, if rubber sealing is not performed with an insulating elastic body, permanent deformation occurs after the stress is released when elongation is performed once. Since it remained stretched after stretching, it could be stretched with a weak force when it was stretched again, and the stretchability was insufficient.
(Example 6: Application example to wearable device)
